I went in to the shop at around 5 p.m. It was kind of busy by that time. I had a nail in one of my tire. I saw it was pressured off slowly. The manager told me I had to wait at least 1 1/2 hours to finish fixing my tire. I was okay with it. Because it was kind of late. I got to talk to Landen, he asked me about my tire's problem. And he said they can fix it for free of charge. I was shocked ! I could not believed it ! I was patiently waiting at the lobby. Luckily, it was taken care of shortly after! Within one hour, I got it done. The office was very clean. They had a complimentary coffee station for you to drink also. I was very pleased with the services at this place. They took care of my Lexus really well. Love it ! The guy who helped me was Seth. I gave him some tips to show him my appreciation! Thanks again, America's Tires at Montclair. This review is for the America's Tires in Montclair. The service I received from this location was superb. A few weeks ago, I went for their complimentary air service, as my tire was showing as critically low; it turns out there was a nail. Super frustrating last-minute challenge that I wasn't prepared to manage. But, also, I'm happy the person filling my tire (Landen) checked for issues. I was in and out in around 30 minutes. Granted, factors like the time of day I went and how much staff they had on hand vs. customers likely played a role. Still, I appreciated how quickly they handled my issue. The staff was friendly, informative, and proactive. Landen was newer but worked hard to get me the help I needed. Other staff members, like Joseph, showed great attention when helping me find the right tires for my car at an affordable price. Honorable mentions to Rigo, Thomas, Shane, and Brandon who, in some way, helped with my car and the service I received that day. 10/10. I would first like to admit that I went to the wrong location. I had a 5:15 appointment at the Upland store but I went to Montclair/ oversight. Oh yeah the guy/ employee did me a favor by taking my car in. I was hoping I could get in at 3. I was told that it would be an 1- 1 1/2 wait. I went home and came back at 5:03. I waited in the lobby. I saw my car being driven the in the bay. I'm thinking great they are working on it. 5:40 I asked about the progress of my repairs. One of the worker said he would find out and never came back. 6:03 the employee who checked me in came to me with a broken lug key and 3 lugs. I was told. It's common for keys to break. They had to force one off with a "hand tool". He told me he made clear that "my team used only hand tools". The lug lock shows signs it was forced off. one bay employee was saying "I'm not going to do...". " you need to ..." comments directed at the check in employee that showed me the broken key. He instructed his bay employees just "force them off". I objected and asked that they release the car. This angered the check in employee. I was told they were only going to put 4 instead of 5 lugs/ the key broke. I was told i"it's ok to drive with 4 lugs, it's safe. I asked how many lugs/ keys were removed. I was told " we have to take off five to get the wheel off. I asked where is the other lug. The senior employee as he was described to me said it might be broke. I asked to see it. The senior and the check in employee come out together and repeated they could not put the "fifth lug lock on" because they broke the lug lock key. The senior employee said "it's safe. Nobody is stealing bmw wheels any more" perfect response for a senior employee. I bought the tire at American tires. The tires came with a warranty. I took the can/ tires in to be serviced under the warranty. I bought all wheels in with 4 lugs and 1 lug lock. They took it upon themselves to use all the extra lugs I had. I was told that I had only 4 replacement lugs and they used them. If I came in with 4 lugs and a lock what happened to the others that were taken off? Why were they replaced? 4 lug were placed on the wheel. It came in with 4 lugs and a lock. They returned 3 lugs and a lug lock that was forced off. I wanted while at least 4 persons with no appointment like me came and went. I had waited over an hour "63 minutes exactly". I don't want to sound ungrateful, thank you for doing me a favor. Two employees said they didn't see an appointment but it was a "short wait time". I had time to make my Upland appointment. Their favor wasted my time and cost me money. The senior employee said "the locks only cost 20$ when you get another one we will put the lock back on." This store employees took no responsibility for what they did. It was my fault for not going to the right place. It's my fault that I hadn't had warranty service performed within 5000 miles. It's my fault that I only had 4 lugs nuts that replaced the five. Communication would have saved me time and a fustrating experience. read more

There was 1 car in the service bay and I asked about replacing the tires. Ohh, let's see $60 to remove the old tires, another $80 to balance and put on my tires, oh, let's add a few for the old tires. Over $160 for a job that used to cost about $85. Damn it, what happened to being affordable ? Of course when you stop in to get your tires balances, I hate their memorized line, " Well it's not safe for us to do that " regardless if your tires are in good shape. I have been buying tires from this location for several years. My last purchase this year were a set of tires for my Toyota Highland. I ended up with good tires and a fair price, except there was a new employee being trained who worked on my car. That always make me nervous as I am a DIY mechanic and finicky on things being done correct. Turns out the wrong type of valve stems were used on the driver's side. No worries, they corrected the problem. As I was pressed for time due to the car having to be worked on again, I didn't look at the passenger side. To my surprise, the ones on the passenger side were not replaced. Not good, so I went back. They apologized and installed new ones. Time wasted but it was finally done correctly. On my other car, a BMW 530i, I had them balance and install a set of tires. All well, except they forgot to replace the plastic caps which cover the wheel locks. I didn't notice this until a few weeks later when I was washing my car. This time I simply let it go. Yesterday I went in for one of the tire checks and the service attendant informed me I needed a complete set of tires. He was correct and I told him I'll definitely do some research and get back to him in a day. I mentioned the missing wheel lock covers which weren't re-installed the last time I had service done and he stated that unfortunately there was nothing that could be done. I have been going to American Tires for at least 20 years and have multiple vehicles that they consistently service. I brought my van in for tire replacement and they were going to replace two tires on my dual axle. They planned to put the newer tires on the inside and the older ones on the outside. They had me drop off my van, and it was with them for nearly 7 hours. They texted me at 6:30 to tell me it was ready for pick-up. I had my neighbor drive me to American Tires to pick up my vehicle. Lucas was behind the counter talking with another customer. He looked at me and said he'd be right with me. I replied that I was just there to pick up my vehicle since I had received a text. Then they did nothing and I was left waiting to get my vehicle. Finally, they were ready to give me my vehicle, but then they told me they couldn't rotate the tires because the other tires were too low. What's aggravating is that they could have told me this when I initially brought my van in. Now I have to buy another two tires, which I don't mind, but I do mind wasting my time driving out there and not being informed from the beginning that this should have been done. I have been happy with their service in the past and most of the staff have been extremely professional. I just hope this is not going to be how they start conducting their service with customers. Hopefully, this was just a bad day for them. I feel bad writing this review and it still bothers me, but it's true and what they did was not right. read more

This place is a joke. I spent $800 on 4 tires and they didn't even last me 12 months. Had a nail in one front tire they fixed on Monday 7/29. I got another nail on the front opposite tire 8/1 and he told me he can't fix it that I need to get all new tires. When they sell you the tires they promise you the world and sell you on a fake insurance that does absolutely nothing. I've purchased tires from them fie the last 10 years because they've always helped me . But the service and actual help you get now has changed. I promise you , if you go to a small mom and pop shop to get tires you will get better help than these guys. I needed to get new tires for my Girlfriend's SUV. I did some research and found the ones that I believe were excellent in value and brand, but in cost. I called the Upland location and they told me that those tires, the Montclair location had them in stock and was the closest in my area. Called America's Tires at the Montclair location to confirm and Nick picked up the call. I asked if they had the GOODYEAR ASSURANCE MAXLIFE in stock. This America's Tire store was located on Central Ave, across from the Carl's Jr. Nick was very nice, professional and a great attitude on the phone and told me that they had 4 in stock. I asked if they could take me in as a walk in. He said yes, but it could take awhile, because of the reservations that have priority. I asked if he could hold them for me and he was able to. All he needed to start was my name and number to look me up in their system. I rushed over to America's tire to get the tires installed. When I arrived, they were able to take me. We decided to get the insurance on all 4 tires and from experience in my honest opinion, it is worth it. I waited about 1/2hr and it was ready. I was really impressed and considering that I did not make an appointment, they did an outstanding job on the tires. The great thing about these tires was that there is a promotion going on for a $50 rebate from Good Year. My overall experience was great and as always America's Tires did not disappoint from the Customer Service I received l. In my personal opinion, I would definitely recommend America's Tires if you are looking for great tires and getting insurance on them. Terrible service all around!! Stay away from this location and go to Chino Hills !!! Waited an hour to be given a bs excuse and walk out with nothing!!!! I placed an order online AND PAID IN FULL for a set of tires. After being notified about my order arriving, I came in during my appointment time only to be told my tires weren't there?? Sales guy tried to sell me on a cheap set of tires but I wasn't having it. The guy placed an order again, I waited another week. I'm also a salesman and have worked retail before, so I tried to be understanding as I know sometimes things can go wrong with automated systems. I myself have dealt with customers and know how it can be. I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt and chose to wait, no problem right? After receiving a notification and a call from the store saying my tires arrived, I come in again for my appointment. I waited for an hour thinking my tires were being mounted, only to be told AGAIN, after OVER AN HOUR of waiting, that my tires aren't at the shop. The manager gives me some bs story about how there was a strange guy in the shop that probably stole them, and then they proceed to try to once again sell me on a different set of tires. Had an appointment for a patch job that would in there words be "a few minutes". 2 hours later, every single person that came in after me was taken care of and gone. 2 plus hours for a patch job that takes 15-30 min is ridiculous. Save yourself the headache and time. Picture shows the estimate time of completion which was 45 minutes (and they said it would be done sooner), the time of the screenshot shows an hour later and still not complete. NEVER AGAIN! I needed my wheels rotated so I went to America's Tire in Montclair on Central Ave across from Target. I spoke with a young man, I believe his name was Thomas. He checked out the tires and explained why I needed a front wheel alignment done first; it was because of the location of the wear on the tires. He referred me to Top Alignment and gave me their business card. Top Alignment advised me that the front tires needed to be replaced before doing the front end alignment. I returned to America's Tire the following day for the tire replacement because they were still under warranty. I spoke with Fern [as in Fernando by Abba]. He inspected the tire tread. He explained the America's Tire warranty to me and that the tire tread wear didn't qualify for the full credit as stipulated by America's Tire [too much detail for this review]. I received a very generous credit on my new tires. The new tires were still at a great price! Every employee that I've spoken with at America's Tire is professional, honest, knowledgeable and respectful. I have friends that go to America's Tire and their experiences have been the same. I'm a long term customer, took almost all of cars for new tires and tire related service and today I Took my 2022 WRX for a tire rotation, when I got my car back I noticed a missing lug nut. I inquired this with Thomas who took my car out of the service bay because he said he checked my car after they perform service. This guy said that's how I brought my car, some times lug nuts get lose. Had to wait for another 20 min to find a replacement only to find out that during the rotation the technician who worked on my car actually damaged the stud and now can't install a new lug nut. How wonderful right ? Still no accountability that they f***ed up my car. Still defending that they are the angels and I'm the crazy person who brought a brand new car with a missing lug nut. After a while I was given a voucher to a mechanic shop to get my car fixed by a real mechanic. But still I'm not happy about this because I brought my car / property to get serviced and they broke it and no accountability. It's like bunch of teenagers running the place , no accountability, discipline or most importantly they all lacking professionalism and respect for their paying customers. This location sucks. America's Tire is my new go to place for anything tire related! I went for the first time ever to America's Tire after the Toyota dealership said they would not fix my flat tire on my new Toyota. Instead Toyota would order a new tire, which I could pay for! As I entered America's Tires, Kristian made me feel welcome. I waited less than an hour while the flat tire was fixed, put back on the car and the spare returned to the trunk.
