We walked in and Austin seen us, didn't even acknowledge that we were here so horrible customer service. Really felt like he had it out cuz of our race. But none the less Dalton came to the rescue. Super friendly and great customer service. Waited over 3 hrs for one tire. While watching Austin and another employee goof off and help there own preference of customers and friends. Literally if it wasn't for Dalton and the fact that we needed a tire we would have never came here. 5 stars for Dalton. I am usually a Discount Tire fan. I've bought well over 20 good quality tires from them the past ten years. Unfortunately the time management and customer service at this location is poor. I went in for a tire rotation and balance with a promise completion time of 1000 hours. I returned at 1010 hours and the vehicle was not completed or even started. I observed other vehicles being worked on that arrived after me. I guess once they have your payment, customer service is out the door. This is a story of the worst failure of customer service I have ever experienced. Worse than Microsoft tech support! It's unfortunate that there is no way to rate negative stars. I had a horrible, inexcusable experience today. Let's start with the fact that I'm a repeat customer at this very store, having bought tires for several cars here. Up to today, the service here was good. Today I had a blowout on the freeway. Got to the shoulder safely and found the right front tire shredded, sidewalls blown out in several places. We put the spare on and headed to America's Tire, where these tires were purchased. We arrived at 11:15 on Saturday. I found the shop with one bay door open, and the showroom door locked. A sign was taped to the door saying they would be closed at 11 AM on Saturday. They're normally open all day. Inside the service bay I found an employee in uniform. He had no name tag and did not identify himself. He approached me saying "we're closed," explaining that there was a company event that day and all employees were there. "I wouldn't be here either, but we were broken into last night." He motioned toward workmen who were boarding up a broken window. I explained my circumstances, said it was urgent, and asked for help. He refused. He had to stay there for another half-hour at least to let the workers complete their task. I suggested several ways he could assist me, to no avail. I asked what kind of event was more important than customer service, he explained that it was an awards ceremony. Seriously? Upset now, I told him that he was about to lose a customer. He said he was sorry I felt that way, as he closed the bay door in my face. Of course I will contact corporate on Monday, and depending on the outcome I may update this review. In the meantime, my need was immediate- so I went across town to Big Brand Tire, who took care of me right away. read more

You guys are awesome. I went in today bc my car had a warning light saying one of my tires were low. I came in and the technician right away noticed my left front tire was low. He immediately found a nail embedded in my tire. I was so worried like how much it will cost for a new tire or a repair. The technician said I will put you on the waitlist and you can come back in an hour or so. He told me there would be no charge. He would plug and patch the tire. Wow, other businesses need to take a lesson from you about great customer service. That's it, he texted me with my appointment time. I came back at 5:15 and it only took 15 minutes to repair and they said my tire was fixed and it would be fine. Haven't had such great service from anywhere in a long time. Whenever I have tire issues, this is my go-to place. I drive a lot and want to feel safe and confident that I will not breakdown anywhere if I can avoid it. I always have my tire pressure checked for long road trips. I was told by the dealership that I needed new tires. I went to American Tire in Paso to confirm if this was necessary. After nearly 7 years of patronage to America's Tire today was the day they lost my business. I stopped by to get a rotation. Typically the staff is amazing and courteous. But today someone I didn't recognize told me that 2 of my tires were too close to needing replacement and refused to rotate them. They still had mileage left in them According to their stupid graph he pointed to. So unless I was going to prematurely and unnecessarily purchase brand new tires, they wouldn't accommodate me. I have purchased numerous tires from the Paso Robles store for both my truck and car and for my 5th wheel. I purchased 4 Good year Endurance tires for my 5th wheel at end of 2020. We have made 3 trips to Oregon (Klamath Falls area) since then with a few local trips here since then. In 2022 I had them rotate the tires on the 5th wheel. When we go back from our trip I noticed that two studs had snapped off of the rear axle tire on passenger side. I had our RV guy replace them. This year again I had the tires rotated before leaving on our trip to Oregon. We were 11 miles from home when I turned onto Hwy 101 from Hwy 46 and we hear a load noise. My grandson says grumpy your trailer tire just came off. I am thinking ok I blew a tire. I got out to find the tire and wheel were gone, snapped all the lug nuts off, tore up the side of the trailer, damaged the water drain for fresh water tank. I can live with one time but now twice I have to question the installation process....everyone is telling me they didn't tighten them enough or over tightened them. So now 2 new tires, a new wheel possibly 2 . read more

We had a snow trip planned and would have paid more based on my prior customer services I've received. Unfortunately the employee told me he would get back to me and I provided him with my phone number and email but never heard back. I ended up going with another company that was responsive on my initial telephone call and cost effective. I felt the employee didn't want to do business on the phone but I couldn't do it any other way as I was at work and have very young children. Bummed I didn't get Dalton, he's a stellar employee. Overall great experience and will go back to them next time. 2/13/15 Driving down 101 the tpms light turned on in dash. Pulled over checked tires and everything looked good. So I stopped by this place, had my tires and sensors checked within 10 minutes. Was told if they turned back on to just swing by again to have them looked at again. My Subaru started making a rubbing, flat tire sort of sound as we rolled into Paso Robles. It got worse every mile we drove. We were spending the night in Paso, so I made the first appointment available on Saturday. When the doors opened, John came out to greet me. We went for a short ride in the parking lot and he heard what I had heard. Right onto a rack, removed the left-front tire and had a tech try to diagnose. They manually rolled the tire back and forth trying to recreate the noise. Could not hear anything. We thought it could be an axle boot or maybe a bearing but nothing they could fix. We buttoned it back up and Dominic wanted to hear the noise... no noise! We surmise a rock or gravel had gotten between the wheel and brake pads or something and when they took the tire off, the rock fell out unnoticed! They said there was NO CHARGE for the checking out, since (they said) they didn't really do anything. Not satisfactory for me. I took Starbucks orders and the entire staff got coffee on me. These guys are THE BEST. We came to Paso for my daughter to take a driver's test. Due to a huge pothole (c'mon Paso!) I blew a tire out in town. I called Jordan and told him our situation. These guys went into action. We got the car there, only had an hour before the test and they changed out our tire like a NASCAR pit crew so my daughter could get to her test. Got to the test, she passed and we went back to the shop so the other tires could be changed out. I cannot say enough about these guys and their work ethic. I had the best experience buying new tires for my car! Huge Thanks to Dominic for making it happen! He was very professional, super nice and got the job done! I went in to order new tires and realized I had applied for the wrong credit card from a tire shop with a very similar name! I didn't want to go anywhere else, so he was so helpful and got me approved for the America's Tire credit card and promotion. At first, I ordered some nice Continental tires, however I was concerned how they would look on my car. My car has the sport package so I wanted some sporty tires. After a days work, I was worried that the tires I ordered wouldn't look right. So I went back in and told Dominic my concerns. I wanted more of a squared look since their low profile. He saw my concerns and didn't try to talk me into keeping something I didn't want. We went back inside and found a tire that I liked, Nitto NT555 G2. He quickly cancelled my original order and got the Nitto's on order! At that point I was confident I would love the new choice. They were also a few dollars cheaper which he was stoked to tell me. So we got them ordered and the tires would be here in 3-5 days. They ended up coming in 2 days, super quick! They got me in as soon as the tires arrived and I couldn't be any happier with my choice and his willingness to make sure I was happy. When I saw the tires on the car for the first time I knew I made the right choice. I want to thank Dominic and all the employees for their high level of service! I purchased a new set of Michelin tires and had them installed at this location. The sales person was professional and the service was done in 45 minutes, 15 minutes earlier than the estimated time. About 13 miles after leaving the installer, my flat-tire indicator light went on. There was no sign of a nail in the tire or of any road hazard damage, but my right rear tire was completely flat. I changed the tire on the side of 101N and slowly drove back to America's Tire. They immediately pulled my car back into the bay and determined that the technician didn't tighten the valve stem. I appreciated that they fixed the issue promptly and apologized. That said, I guess that I was hoping for more after spending $800+ on four new tires. At the very least, they should have refunded the cost of installation. read more

I have been coming to this America's tires for many years now. I have brought my vehicles and my friends vehicles here and I've always felt like they have treated me right and give me the best price in town. Today was different. I usually deal with Dolton and he is really nice but he was busy. Tyler was the one helping me out. His attitude was not welcoming and the way he spoke to me was not pleasant. I told him my rims was stock and he questioned me for that. I came in knowing what tires I wanted and he kept pushing for different tires. I was not comfortable with him. I got all new tires. Now that I'm home, I noticed that there was some fresh gum residue on my rims. I went from the tire store to home and I doubt someone put gum on my rims while I was driving home. Obviously it was time for new tires. Austyn waited on us and advised that they would need to order tires, but did so right then and advised. they would be delivered. the following day. He noted we lived out of town and said he'd call us as soon as they arrived. I rec'd the email the following morning and Austyn called as promised immediately thereafter. He fit us into a busy Friday schedule at a convenient time for us. We were greeted and work began right away and was completed early even tho 10 other jobs were ongoing.
