Brian is awesome. So is Dominic. Dominic is nice and greets you with a smile right when you walk in even though they are super busy. Brian helped me get the right tires for my car even though they mounted a set on to begin with it turns out they didn't fit correctly to turn all the way and so he took the time to order new ones and then put them on when they came in. I appreciate this because other stores could have let me drive off and not care as much. The guys here are all helpful and work well. And they all wear masks to keep customers safe even though most of paso doesn't give a shit about safety these guys play by the rules which is super cool. I will recommend this shop to anyone I know. About a year ago I got some rims and new rubber here with a rebate deal and I have had nothing but stellar service from America's Tire. After getting the wheels put on I noticed they tended to vibrate as I got up to freeway speeds. I called them back and informed the manager of the situation and he had me come down, got my wheels rebalanced and put on some alignment rings to completely center the wheels.... all free of charge. Now my car is smooth as a baby's nether regions. They don't try to over sell you either. They give you just what you need and price match as well. Just wish they filled the tires with nitrogen. We were on a road trip and far from home when a small object on the road damage the rim and shredded my tire. We drove to the closest tire place which was a Walmart. I was uneasy about going anywhere else but didn't want to drive further on the spare. However Walmart didn't have rims. The tires were cheaper at Walmart but I called this location and they gave me a deal. They were SUPER friendly. Made me feel at ease and I was back on the road quickly. My husband and I were en route to SLO and were passing through that desolate area near Camp Robert's.today when we saw an emergency notification show up on our car display. We had a tire that was loosing air FAST...one lb per minute! We looked on Yelp and found American Tire in Paso Robles. We called and spoke with Matthew. He made room in their schedule for us to roll in as soon as we could get there. We limped from air-filling station to air-filing station in order to reach American Tire. Matthew greeted us immediately upon arrival. He did a walk-around evaluating not just our flat, but the other tires as well. He reassured us that our tires were in no need of replacement and that they would get the flat tire diagnosed and addressed as required. It wasn't 45 minutes from our arrival at their door to us receiving a notification that our car was ready for pick-up! Not only did Matthew make room for us with almost no notice, but they repaired our tire AND replaced the valve stem for free! This is a team comprised of friendly, professional and proficient people that provide quality workmanship. I took my car in to have some tires put on new wheels and balance them on my car. After I got my car my low tire symbol was on. I inquired about the issue, I was assured that it would turn off after I drove it some. I got home and it was still there. I got my tire pressure gauge out of curiosity and one of my tires was at 17 psi!?!? Really I was told to just drive until it went off, more likely I would have driven until it blows. Such a simple thing that should have been checked before sending me off to blow a tire. read more

Do not trust this company at all!! I had never thought of the fact that the individuals working are short timers and probably just getting their summer job on. I had the worst experience that you could ever have and I think it is the inexperienced techs and the shoddy mgmnt team that allowed my car to come out of the shop WITHOUT one of the wheels having the lug nuts tightened. UMMMMM yeas, then the wheel came off while i was driving!! Imagine that!!. Yeas a little shimmy before it happened, except my 2002 Toyota had a very loose rear suspension and i thought it was related. It wasn't!! So after the lug nut shears off and the tire rips into my fender, American Tire decides to not repair my car. WOW! They thought it prudent to pay to have my wheel put back on but decided that all the body damage was not worth it. Excuse me??? My car was in pristine body condition and now the door, quarter panel and running panel are ruined!! American Tire you should be ashamed of yourself. They are cheapskates, unprofessional, shabby customer service and COST ME MONEY. I'm glad to be alive and I just thought i would warn everybody away from this company. Thanks YELP. I can't thank Brian Wheat the manager of America's Tire enough for his extra efforts in getting our Audi sports car repaired this past Saturday. My wife and I hit an object on the101 hwy on our way back from dinner in Templeton late Thursday night and we unfortunately had a catastrophic rear tire blow out. Brian and his team early Friday am was able to order a set of new rear tires and get them Fedex from Los Angeles so our car could be repaired prior to closing on Saturday so we could drive home Sunday morning. This place is awesome. Was up here for some training and started to experience a wobble in my tires. Figured it was a balance issue and came in to see these guys. Talked to Dalton Lake in the front and he took extreme care to mention all my options and explain to process. Dude was top notch. When they took it in the back another guy (forgot his name. Had thick glasses and was in his 20's) explained to me what my tires where doing and helped me throughout the rest of the process.
