Showed up early 8:30am on a rainy gloomy morning. Had few of the guys sitting outside eager to get some work in. Had them approach, I asked for tires, they didn't even ask me what size I needed they had already confirmed by checking themselves and with guy inside I know as "JR". Soon as I confirmed 4 new tires for purchase, the service was quick in and out of there before 9am. Felt like I was in a NASCAR race as fast as these guys moved. I also mentioned trouble with my alternator and jr told me to bring it in when I'm ready and gave me a quote, offered his professional opinion on where to get legit parts. I went to a tire shop around the corner to replace one tire, I was quoted $200- on a whim, I saw this tire shop, drove right up. The men were helpful, kind, and respectful. Didn't try to bamboozle me, pulled the tire out to see if they can salvage it with a patch vs a full replacement. He showed me the nails and explained to me how the nail pierced through and a new tire is safer. He quoted me almost $100 less for the new tire/ installation/ quick service. 10/10 recommend! My TPMS sensor's battery went dead, so my car was starting to constantly complain about it. Since I didn't know any better, I thought I could just purchase some sensors online, and then get someone to install them for me. Well, turns out none of the tire shops I went to were willing to install my TPMS sensors, you have to buy their's. Except Tony's Tires! Plus, they checked beforehand to make sure that the sensors I'd bought actually would work for my car (they did!). Oh, and it's fun to see just how fast they can get the tires off the car. This place is amazing to get repairs on your tire or a replacement tire! We came here after Costco & Big Brand didn't want to fix our tire because a nail was too close to the edge of the tire to repair. Junior helped us out and said he was able to repair our tire for us for $25. Definitely worth it!! However, when the tire came off the car, Junior noticed there were more nails in the tire. We instead replaced the tire with a used (but in great condition) Pirelli tire that was the same size as our other 3 tires. The whole installation and replacement tire was just $80!! SO WORTH. I am definitely going to recommend Tony's Tires to anyone who needs their tire repaired or replaced. Junior was very helpful, thorough, and knowledgeable. Needed a simple tire rotation. New to Simi Valley. Found "Tony's Tires" on Yelp and gave them a call. Rang four times and almost hung up, but then a very polite gentleman answered and said to bring my car in and no need for a reservation. Quoted a lower price than my last big name visit. I pulled in expecting to wait behind other vehicles already there, but a young man walked up to me still in my car, asked why I was there, and when I said a rotation he waved me to an open parking spot. I got out... and it was like a scene from NASCAR! Four (4) employees rushed over with floor jacks, two ppl to a side, and started lifting and swapping tires. I started to laugh and timed them: six minutes from when I exited my car (11:23AM) to finish (11:29AM) *including* checking the air in each tire. Oh, and they carefully started each lugnut by hand to avoid cross threading. "Junior" processed my payment and just smiled when I told him how impressed I was. I have been to Tony's Tires in the past to patch up a flat tire. I have even referred them to former coworkers because of their fast and very affordable service. I woke up this morning and saw my tire pressure was low. Inspecting my tire, I saw there was a small cut on the side of my tire, that caused an air bubble. If you have ever had this, you know how dangerous this can be of driving on the road for long periods of time without changing the tire. I decided to first go to a "BIG" chain BRAND Tire company because I had warranty on my tires. Of course this was not covered, and they wanted to charge me 1/3rd of what I paid for all the tires, just to replace one! I instantly thought of Tony's tires, and headed over. I pulled up into one of the four parking spots available (one is a handicap spot), and was attended to within seconds. They told me I would need to replace the tire, and I asked for a used tire. Junior, the manager, showed me a few used tires, but also gave me two different options to buy a new tire. One of the new tires was actually a match to what I have now. I took it, paid, and saved myself about a tank of gas (California prices) from what the chain "BIG" chain Brand was charging me. Start to finish took less than 10 minutes, and I am truly thankful to still have a "Mom and Pop" type tire shop in my area. Reviews don't lie, and neither do satisfied customers. I will definitely be coming back in the future because of how I have been treated today, and in the past. All the guys there are tire experts, so feel free to ask questions if you have any.
