I unfortunately wore my tires to past the wire to where they completely opened up on me! Thank god I found Jim's tires to replace my perelli tires. I drive a Mercedes GT and I first went to Costco to get my tires there thinking they'd have them. I waited 20 minutes with shitty customer service for them to tell me they don't carry my unique tires apparently only exotic cars use these tires and I was out of luck. I kept calling places till I got in contact with Jim's tires. The customer service from the beginning a call over the phone put me at ease. The representative that assisted me "Jose" said come on in I got you all taken care of. I will have your tires ready when you come in tomorrow morning and you'll be in and out. I scheduled AAA to tow my car first thing in the morning another great perk this store opens at 7:30am I arrive they're already waiting on me and I was in and out. I swear I wish everyone had Jose's fast customer service and personality he made things easy and explained everything to me to where it made sense. He also updated me on other things I need to get done to my car and hooked me up with 4 free oil changes through an app. Best place I highly recommend it. Jim's Tire totally saved me today! I got in my car and noticed my passenger front tire was super low. I drove it right over to Jim's and was immediately met with friendly smiles. I was in right before closing and was told if it needed a patch I may need to come back in the morning, which I totally understood. We went outside, I showed them my car, and Jose told me he would make it happen and get me all patched up right then and there. They took their time and did an amazing job even though they were closing and most likely wanted to get home to their families. So I'm a long time customer I've been going here and getting tires even when I know they're more expensive than the tire shops down the street. I got a nail in my tire 4:15 pm I go to my house come back out to go to the grocery store at my tire is completely flat. I call up Jim's tire Jose picks up I tell him what's going on and he says oh man can you leave it over night. I said you can't plug a tire I just got these from you guys a few months ago. He say no Bro I'm packed. I drive by the shop a few minutes later to go to Tony's tires to get it handled and I drive-by and I see 4 open bays. And literally nobody working. And just like that, you guys lost a customer, including my 4 family members that come and get tires here. And I'm done referring people you guys.. so next time maybe I'll go to big brand or Tony spend a little less but they know how to treat me right. read more

I woke up yesterday to an illuminated Tire Pressure Monitoring lamp and a flat left rear tire. It was Sunday before a mid-week Holiday. Certainly, this was enough to ruin at least half a weekend! The tire is a run-flat, which means the vehicle has no spare tire. Jon explained the difficulty in repairing the tire properly but was confident they could do it and they did. Everything from the initial call to a courtesy shuttle home with Shieh (spelling?), and vehicle pickup went off without a hitch and I went from expecting a $30 -$50 repair, to a NO-CHARGE, courtesy flat repair! the place I normally go to, Firestone was booked solid, I needed to have a leaky tire patched on a Subaru outback. The Man At Jim's said that it couldn't be patched and I would have to get a new tire, which would be roughly $150 and take 2 hours ( the place was empty ) seemed too expensive So I left and made an appointment with firestone the next day where they were able patch my tire and it took about half an hour . Gone are the personal, family touches that once gave this place its reputation and name. Now you step inside and it looks like north korea. No couches...no more birds...a giant, minimalist empty space with the worlds worst coffee pot stuffed into a dusty corner. FFS it's christmas! You could put a tree, play some music, utilize the four giant screens with maybe some movies...put an ipad for the kids out, a charging station, a goddamn RUG. Your employees stand at a barren kiosk in an empty depressing space all day, you've taken the soul away. So why would I or anyone support you? You clearly lost the plot. Had these guys look at my truck after another shop couldn't do an alignment. They did great work and truck is back to normal. Only thing I wished would be for them to call when it was done. Paperwork shows final alignment was done at 10:53 am. I had to call at around 3 to ask for an update. Only to find out it was ready. But the mechanics did great work. Very professional - fair price. I personally worked with Joe H. - I really appreciate how he leveled with me about my concerns. I went in because I purchased this car recently and just this week the brakes started to squeak. Now I know that doesn't always mean something is wrong, but it never hurts to check. I also needed an oil change and to check my battery, so I thought why not just get it all checked at once. I was nervous dropping my car off at a new place, just like anyone would be. Unsure what they are going to say, like pointing out things you didn't ask for etc. - Joe was straight to the point, he checked what I needed and was honest about things I might want to take a look at. Like I said, I planned on getting brakes (pads/rotors), oil and a battery. Ended up not needing brakes, because he was honest about what I had left. But he was also honest about my tire tread, without needing brakes that left money in the budget to get new tires which I was happy about. Ended up getting a couple additional things because I know it needed it, and the price was too good to pass. Ultimately, ended up spending more than intended but Joe worked with me to get a fair price. As much as this is a business, and businesses need to make money. Since Jim retired (also passed away a few months ago. He was a wonderful man and business owner), the place is not the same. Went in to have my tires rotated. Young service tech wrote up that I needed new struts and the right rear was leaking. Also said an arm was cracked. Did not have that work done, took it to my neighbor who is a mechanic, inspected the struts, no leak except for some dried up mud and no crack on the arm he said was cracked. A shame that they are doing this to customers. Please beware and get a second opinion before dropping thousands on unnecessary repairs. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came in today at 11:00 am 11/9/2025, because the back of my tire was completely flat. Since I have those fancy Mercedes tires you can drive on a flat tire however; I needed it fixed. Lo and behold there was a nail in it. Easy fix huh? This guy couldn't have been so wrong.. So the gentleman, Mr. Hernandez told me that they could not plug the tire or that specific tire. He then began to tell me that if I were to buy a regular tire it would cost me almost $300 for one tire, I said no, I'm not paying that. I normally get my tires and my service work at a place in the valley, but unfortunately my tire was flat so I had to get it done ASAP. Then after Mr. Hernandez told me that the nail was in a very hard place to get it out even though they wouldn't do it, It's company policy to not plug those types of tires. they *weren't* allowed to, company policy. I said huh? He wanted fill it up with air and send a woman on her way, no care in the world. He was full of baloney. I went across the street too, literally could've been fixed. The guys at Grand American Tires, right across the street. You know the Gentleman that's at the front, been working there forever? He told me they can plug it, in fact, he said it's in a really easy spot. He charged me $25, I pulled out 40$, he took $20 from me. That is true Customer Service and I will never stop at Jim's tires again do better!! Go to Grand American tires across the street, they are always amazing. I'm giving two stars because I've used Jim's tires one other time and their performance/customer service was great. The missing three stars are because they do not remove the old weights from tires before balancing them and my wheels were not bent. Today, I dropped off two 205/55/R16 tires/wheels, did not leave the vehicle, and asked for the cheapest set to replace them. I was told a turnaround time of one hour to two hours. I retuned two hours later and my tires were still sitting out front where I had left them. I asked the guy inside for a guesstimate on when they would be done and he explained that the 1-2 hours was the install time and not how long it would be until they were done. After three and a half hour I got my tires back and went home to put them on my car to find that the weights installed were rubbing on the calipers and I had to take the tires back. The original weights were still on, in the correct place for the wheels. The issue for me is when I retuned, I asked the service worker why they didn't remove the old weights and he said that is not normal to remove the old weights. I asked him again and he said "we can remove the old weights but they help keep the wheel balanced." That rubbed me wrong and prompted the review.
