Today, I made appointment at America's Tires Simi Valley for a Tire Alignment, since the Camarillo is a smaller sector, I decided to come this one, I called beforehand to see if they had a opening and they did so happy about that, other side the phone was Fernando he was very sweet & understanding he told me there was one car head of me that needed to replace all 4 tires, since I was 30 mins away no problem. When got there and went into the store I was greeted by Mason. I told Mason what I needed & told him I just got new tires & everything is in their system which is great too! I did have some questions and he answered them all beautifully! So they quickly whisked my car away and started working on it. I would say I probably waited 15-20 mins until everything was done. Which I didn't mind at all! Richard came out showing me the paper of the tires alignment & explaining to me about alignment & I thought how thoughtful of that! America's Tires Quality & Honest & Trustworthy You can Trust! I asked Richard if I could have a copy of my Receipt he was so sweet & kind of him he did it right away! Mason & Richard, we both super polite, kind, caring, super knowledgeable, very genuine, helpful, and super down to earth! Mason & Richard both have this super positive upbeat energy about themselves that really radiates! Mason & Richard are Rarest of all Diamonds. Their shine can never fade! I drive a Mercedes GT and I first went to Costco to get my tires there thinking they'd have them. I waited 20 minutes with shitty customer service for them to tell me they don't carry my unique tires apparently only exotic cars use these tires and I was out of luck. I scheduled AAA to tow my car first thing in the morning another great perk this store opens at 7:30am I arrive they're already waiting on me and I was in and out. Unfortunately, since the management and ownership changed a couple of years ago, this place has gone seriously downhill. I came in this morning with a very simple request: I had a nail in my rear tire and only needed the nail removed and the tire repaired. The tire still had approximately 2-3 mm of tread remaining, and I was completely upfront that I planned to replace the tires within the next couple of weeks. Instead of simply helping with the immediate problem, the employee refused to remove the nail because of the remaining tread. I understand that they may have concerns about tire safety, but refusing even to remove the nail from a tire that I was planning to replace soon felt unreasonable and, frankly, like an attempt to pressure me into buying new tires on the spot. What really says it all is that I drove to another tire shop just down the street. They looked at the tire, removed the nail, and helped me without any questions or sales pressure whatsoever. That experience made the difference very clear: one business was interested in helping a customer, while Tire Pros seemed more interested in making a sale. It's sad to see what happened to a business that used to provide good service. After today, my wife and I will never use this Tire Pros location again, and I certainly cannot recommend it to anyone looking for honest, customer-focused service. If management wonders why longtime customers are leaving, experiences like this are a good place to start.

I walked up to the counter and greeted the older woman with a smile, only to get a miserable, stern look back. When I tried to tell her I needed to pay for a tire patch, she couldn't even hear me because she was blasting YouTube videos of nasal canals at full volume on her computer. After I had to repeat myself several times to get her attention, she told me a simple plug patch was $35. Charging $35 for an external plug--when reputable shops actually remove the tire and patch it properly from the inside for less--is absurd. When I questioned the $35 price, she gave me a defensive, condescending attitude and said, "Yes, a lot of people go to different places and act surprised when they see the price." A new guy, Elon, called to let us know it would be $249. He also called to let us know we needed a new battery. Mind you, we haven't needed to jump start the car for years, so this came at a very interesting time for us, wondering what they did to drain the battery. Either way, we declined the upsell items he mentioned, and went in to make our $249 payment. Lo and behold, the payment is now over $300. When asked why it's different than what he told us over the phone, he stated that it was a $50 diagnostic fee. I stated that I told Rafael what was needed to be done, so why the large diagnostic fee, when I was quoted $9.99. He said, "well, if you give me the part number that you gave Rafael, then I'll take off the fee". I didn't think I needed to give him a part number. To be fair, I was willing to pay the $9.99 fee that I was quoted, but also thought that was part of the $249 he said it would all cost over the phone. Elon was so smug during the conversation, knowing there was nothing we could do about it. Well, hope someone sees this and knows that if you deal with Elon, you may pay more than you expected, just like I did. Like I said, beware of this shop and the extra charges. On my last oil change I was told that the threads on the oil plan were stripped and I needed to take it somewhere else to get it repaired. I didn't think much about it until today when I took the car to another shop for the suggested repairs. It is going to cost me $1,768 to get a new oil pan !!! The mechanic, which I have known for a very long time, said it was stripped and someone tried to fix it and just made it worse and unrepairable. I just called Randy's and they denied responsibility. I told them they were the only place that has ever done an oil change and it is impossible that they didn't cause the damage. The rest of the conversation went nowhere. I always try to support local businesses. But when they damage my car, cost me $1,768, and don't even consider taking responsibility, they have just lost a long time customer. I will be sure to let my friends and neighbors know about today's experience.
