My mother bought a full set of tires here, she then went back 3 times to get them rotated, each time they told refused to rotate them and told her that it wasn't necessary. Today her front tires had holes in them and she slid out all over the rain, she had to temporarily buy used tires. Thanks for putting my mothers life in danger. I've had my own problems with Murica's tire company which is why I don't purchase tires from them any longer and now go to Costco where they don't jack you around and do what you ask them to do. Here's my own story: I purchased a set of 4 tires and purchased the road hazard warranty (free at Costco) which jacked up my price considerably. One day a nail pierced my sidewall and I had to car towed to the 'Muica's tire company, they voided all 4 of my certificates because they said getting me a new tire does that. I told them that I purchased insurance on each individual tire and how the hell are they voiding everything to replace 1 single tire out of 4. I now go to Costco, they have pretty good pricing on some of the best tires around, they also offer road hazard for free, you don't pay more money for a warranty at Costco. You show up and ask them to service your car and they do it, they don't play money games with you or tell you the service you request isn't necessary. Above are two different stories from two different individuals that tell you why buying tires from 'Muica's tire company is the worse thing you could do, it's like throwing away your money and putting your life in danger. Note to the management of this establishment: Either you have some bad bad workers making you look bad or your business model is horribly wrong. You may have 5 star ratings from people that haven't experience what we've experienced, but the above is completely true. Came in because of a flat. Anthony helped me and was very very helpful and explained everything. They fixed the tire free of charge which was awesome! The process took a lot longer than i though but then again it was like 5pm. I cant even complain about the wait, every single employee was working, hands on with customers or on a car. I'm a super broke college student and I recently found out that you can sometimes patch a hole at no cost and so Ive been looking for a place to do it and I was referred here. Only place to go to for tires and service. Have been using them for years. Make an appointment and you are in and out quickly. Staff is very knowledgeable if you have any questions or concerns. On a side note I found a bolt in the tread of one of my tires. Took it to America's Tire and instead of trying to sell me a new, expensive replacement tire they took soapy water and after removing the bolt saw that there was no air leak. Do not take your classic car here. These guys are bigger tools than they have in their shop. My Son took his 1966 VW Bug in for new rear tires. They took his money and made him wait more than an hour to tell him they wouldn't install them because he has studs and not factory lug nuts. Apparently this boggled them as far as to not be able to torque to specs. Aftermarket wheels on a Bug require studs. You would think a large chain tire distributor would be able to service all vehicles. This is not the first time they have made me go somewhere else to get proper service. I will find a new tire shop that is competent to put wheels on a car. What a waste of time. read more

I had to go to the AAA office next door and as i was getting into my car i noticed that my front left tire was completely flat, the rim was basically touching the ground. i also noticed that my stem cap was missing on the valve stem so i went next door to america's tire to ask if they could help in any way. keep in mind it was POURING RAIN this whole day. i walked in and they we're super busy which i felt bad for bugging bc i only had a small issue. i only waited less than 5 minutes to actually talk to someone. i told him my problem and he handed me an umbrella and walked with me to the other parking lot to see the tire. he told me to drive up to wait for someone to pick up the car for an inspection of the tire to make sure that there are no punctures. i sat in my car for a while before they got to my turn, but not anything i complained about. usually i am super nervous and super scared to ever go into car shops by myself considering i'm just a dumb little girl w money to most mechanics i go to. mechanics are ALWAYS looking for more things to charge me for, but these people repaired my tire at NO cost ! i'm going to be honest, i was short on money and they came in clutch. i recommend coming to this location, super great hard working people there :). read more

As a consumer I'm always looking for the best service for the best price, Americas tire store in Upland offers both! Recently I needed to purchase new tires for my Ford 350, they're pretty pricey so I was only able to purchase 2 at a time. When I went back in this week to purchase the other 2 the total seemed a bit off, about 75 dollars over from what I had paid for the other 2 less than 30 days ago. When I brought this up to the young man assisting me he immediately went and got the store manager. The store manager removed the additional charge without question, he explained to me that tires had increased in price this past week some as much as 20% but since my original purchase had been so recent I should not be penalized. Stand up man working at a stand up business. I would also add that the atmosphere at this business is great, all associates are friendly, the appear to all get along and enjoy their jobs! I have been a customer of this place for years. Never had a problem. Then I got a new car. It had a lot of specialty high performance parts, and after market flare. This includes R40 lug nuts that sell for $200-300 per set. This store is the only one I ever take my car to. Then a few months back I get in a blow out on the road and take my car to the shop closest to where I was (far from Upland). Come to find out that all of my metal after market valve stem covers had been switched with cheap rubber crap. But that wasn't the worst part. Most of my R40 lug nuts WERE REPLACED WITH CHEAP GARBAGE without me noticing. They weren't completely switched out mind you. But most of them are gone. Some of the ringers they replaced them with were actually damaged and according to the tire guy I went to, they were FORCED on damaging the lug studs and after miles of wear and tear, one of my steel wheels itself. If you're lucky, you can replace these individual R40 lugs for the low low price of $20 PER LUG. The damage to the wheel wore down my new tire to a nub, and probably caused the blowout I suffered. Plus having to buy a new wheel, get a lug stud replaced, and ANOTHER new tire. And all of that, just because one of their employees wanted to jack my lug nuts. Thanks for nothing, you crooks. P.S: I just wanted to add, this in no way reflects America's Tire stores in general. If you use this chain, there's still the store on 4th St near the Ontario Mills or the store on Central and Olive in Montclair near the Plaza. My problem is not with the company. It is with THIS store in particular because I quite literally never went to any other place for the care of my tires for well over a decade. read more

This location is usually terrific, but today they seriously sucked. It's first come first served, per their service manager. I got there about an hour after they open, and was told 2 hour wait for a tire repair. Horrible wait, but I figured I could just go home and wait there.... after all, even Olive Garden will send a text when it's your turn in line, right? No, No.... not at America's Tire, you have to surrender your keys and find yourself somewhere OUTSIDE to what, sit on a curb? There is no waiting room due to Covid, but if someone wants to utilize the 2 hours for, oh I don't know, being productive or going back home (1/2 mile away) to wait INSIDE, they lose their spot in line even though they are in line in the computer. Seriously stupid way to treat people. I was there for a tire repair, what they don't know is that I was fully prepared to purchase 4 new tires if I could find a good deal. Hope they don't work on commission, because that sale will now be going across the street to Pep Boys. read more

I was at this location on 11/24/18. I do have to say everyone was very nice and helpful. The wait time was a little longer then they quoted me (I had an appointment) But, I could see the guys working very hard so can't really complain about it. I do have two complaints....the restroom OMG was discussing. Pee in the toilet and on the seat. Very Very dirty...and the sink was full of grease. It seem all the mechanics (who are in a rush) and the other employees as well as customers use the same bathroom. I almost wanted to vomit when I went in. I walked right back out! With the amount of time you have to wait for the work to be done on your vehicle you are bound to have to use the restroom. They should probably be cleaned up every hour if that many people are using them. The second complaint is they didn't give me back my tire lock. I went to the carwash next door and thank goodness I check for it. I went back and apparently they put it in someone else's packet. read more

I had a flat a couple of days ago and I had to get a tire quick because I was going on a trip. I tried getting the tire at Pepboys in Ontario and the staff there were just so incompetent from ordering a new tire to getting the tire and replacing it. I ended up going to Costco instead of the tire because they had it in stock. However, I took just the rim not the whole car. I put the tire on myself and needed to have the tires balanced and rotated so I looked up places near me and found America's Tire. The staff was professional and quick. I appreciate the work they did for me I will definitely use this location and team for any of my future tire needs. I would also recommend them to anyone else in need of tires. read more

Best place to buy tires. Always get the warranty. Free lifetime rotation and balance and they'll fix the tire for free if it ever gets a nail, puncture, whatever. If the tire cannot be repaired you get a new tire for free (just have to pay cost of new warranty on that tire, I think $10-20).
