My husband had over hour wait for tires that were ordered and just needed installed. No update on a time status for any of the customers there nor for him. This was the first time he had been there and never had he had to wait so long for just an update at the Chino or Ontario store. It doesn't take much for a manager or an employee to update the customers on the status of their cars. Let alone be courteous and respectful instead of being rude while ignoring the customers. Would never return. My parents were kind enough to purchase a gift certificate for 4 new tires for me. When I went there I spoke to the manager and gave him the gift certificate. He was asking me how many miles I drive, how far I drive etc. then proceeds to tell me that the gift certificate purchased wasn't enough to cover the tires I needed and that i would need to pay the balance. So the balance was like $150-$200. I paid it and called my mom and explained thank you for the gift certificate I paid the balance. My mom says "what balance?? We prepaid for 4 tires for you there is NO balance show them the receipt". My mom drives down to this location to meet me there and asks immediately to see the manager. Pretty sure his name was Steve, tall slim brunette guy. My mom is pissed and shows him the gift certificate for the 4 tires my parents purchased for me and explains to him how shitty of him is was to try to up sell me after my parents had already paid. He was obviously embarrassed and apologized; When someone purchases a gift certificate, you already have their business. Especially when it's $400 worth of tires. It was so unprofessional and most of the guys that work there seem slimy and only care about their sale and not the actual customer or their customer service. I haven't been back since. read more

I did a special order on a replacement compact spare tire for my minivan since the old tire was 16 years-old. My trust in that tire holding together in an emergency was getting thin. The tire mounts under the van and "hangs" on a cable w/the tire pulled tight against the bottom under-carriage. I commend America's Tire for the swift special order and notification of arrival. The price was right and they gave a AAA discount. When my wife brought home the van the tire/rim was literally hanging loose on the cable and mounted upside down on the carrier. Did the same tech who took the old mounted tire off the van...put it back on? Maybe not? Was the tech just rushed? Not the best experience for a 25+ year customer. I really wanted to leave a 5-star review. I know they wanted to get my wife out in a expeditious manner. That's how they work. Since my wife needed the van early the next morning, w/ no chance of getting back to the store, there I am w/ flashlight under the car at 10pm fixing their errors. The last three minutes of any tire replacement job are what can lead to lawsuits, injuries, or worse. America's Tire Company (Discount Tire) is really efficient, and also reasonable regarding cost and value. But a trend I've been seeing over the last several years , and not just this location, is things get missed on remounting tires before the customer's vehicle leaves the bay. It's valve stem caps not being put back on. Or not checking if a spare tire has been stowed correctly. But that's why I check these things later if I'm not with the vehicle at pick up. Everything about the special order, value, and tire mounting on my rim was spectacular, up until the last few minutes in the bay. I shouldn't need to look over the shoulder of a company I've done business with since the early 90's to make sure they followed through on a tire job. read more

So I came here or on complete and utter desperation. I needed new tires installed before work in a few hours. I called beforehand, they reassured me it was not busy and even referred me to Phillip's Undercarriage for the imminent front end alignment. When I got there with a donut on one side, I had to drive through the detour on campus and 16th and had managed to pick up some fresh tar on my tires even though I tried my best to avoid it. When I got there I anticipated 2 tires, it was all I was prepared to get that day. But the guy helping tells me my back tires are now ruined and I'll need to replace all 4 because driving will not be safe. Mind you, before even inspection I told him it was a really hard day and what I needed, even tearing up. I lost my shit started crying hysterically. Then he told me he used the wrong word. Well.... When you use unsafe and ruined in the same sentence, how do you expect me to react? So I approved my to initial tires and gave him my keys. I avoided everyone else after that. What the actual hell??? I get your job is sales but dude, get it together. Bad business. I'll be going to another America's tire next time. However the referral for the alignment was great and I've had good experiences with them before so they receive 4 stars. I just hope they think twice before using such strong and deceitful wording in the future. read more

I just needed a tire patched. Marquis took the time to tear down the old tire (free) and explain what is up. It turns out that the hole was too big to be safely repaired. He said,"Maybe they have a used one". They did and it would be $40. OK do it. They mounted and balanced the tire and installed it on the truck and also put the spare tire back in place under the bumper. WOW they did $40 labor just switching the tires around, it was unbelievable ! 40 bucks for an almost new tire and all the labor. This was my second time there...5 stars read more

I have been to another location in the past due to nails in my tire and I experienced extremely friendly service. When it came time to buy tires for my old Ranger, I looked at the different sites and America's tire had the best deal, they had the tires in stock and they had an appointment two days after purchase. I arrived early and they took me right away. The friendly service I experienced at the other location was duplicated. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Had several bad experiences at this location that made me ultimately decide to never return and take my business elsewhere. First bad experience: Asked them the cost of a tire rotation. Was glad to be told it was free. I agreed and advised the manager, who was helping me, to please notify the technician NOT to air up the tires to the pressure on the sticker in the door jamb. Aftermarket wheels and tires, asked to put them to 35psi. He said not to worry that he will make sure that's taken care of. I get my tires rotated, get my truck back. Start driving home and after a few minutes feel like I'm driving over rocks. I pull over to check the issue. 3 tires developed bubbles under the tread. Pulled out my air pressure gauge and checked. Sure enough, they over inflated my tires. I asked for 35psi, tire stamp says max pressure 50psi. They put all my tires to 80psi. Aired down and drove home, but my tires were destroyed. So there went over $2,000 for a new set. Now you would think a $2000+ setback would be enough to stop me from going back. Figured hey, it was a mistake. Whatever. Went back 2 weeks later in a different vehicle just to get aired up (car was sitting for a couple months so tires were a little low). Pulled up to the line for air. Once I got to the tech (very obvious this guy was new and never worked on cars in his life) told him just put the air to 10psi below the max pressure printed on the tire. He asked if he can open my door, I asked why, and he told me so he can check the tire pressure label. I told him, this car doesn't have a label, and again told him the pressure I wanted in the tires. He still opened my door anyways (while I was leaning on it too, so, ya, a little rude). Looked like he was panicking when he couldn't find the sticker. He said he needs to go ask his manager and walked away. Comes back and told me the manager said they cannot service my vehicle because it doesn't have a sticker. Really? Needless to say, thanked him for his time and went to a different shop. Ended up buying a set of tires from the other shop because I found out that there was a cut in my sidewall, which we found AFTER airing up and were able to hear an air leak. TLDR; They ruined 4 tires on my truck, cost me 2k+. Refused service on my other car. Sad to say, but won't be returning to this location for anything ever again. read more

The entire experience, even my unique one, was a complete professional delight!! I called to see what the wait time was, and to make sure they had in stock a specific Yokahoma tire that I had won a gift certificate for $500 towards at a fundraiser car show. They were polite on the phone and verified my tire was indeed in store. I asked for an appointment, but was offered an immediate opening if I came in now to be placed in line. Before I was able to get out of my parked car at the store I was greater with a friendly smile by the associate (tall, dark male) standing by my front bumper and greeted me by name. He then asked for the mileage on the odometer, and we walked inside to see how the transaction was going to be processed from the gift certificate. I paid the minimal remainder of the balance and was asked to wait for approximately 30 minutes. The manager then approached me, very apologetic for having to redo the transaction due to the way it was first rang up. I told him i completely understood due to the uniqueness of the certificate. He must have apologized 25 times... and he refunded me the original transaction, rang me up again, and processed one more swipe of the Amex to complete the sale. I returned to my seat outside on the bench, and before I could review the paperwork, I was greeted and told my car was finished! They pulled it right up in front of me, had the AC going, and held my door as I stepped into my commuter car with 4 new tires all within 45 swift minutes!! I've gotten tires from this place about 3 times. The first couple times I trusted their word about installing the correct tires. This time I double checked my tires to see if they were the correct ones and they were not. They installed cheaper versions of the same brand. America's tires is a great company, but I would advise to double check the tires they install and double check the charges. I've wasted an extra hour of my day just to get this problem resolved. Also, they charged me for a TPMS repair, which is optional and I did not consent for. Remember to ask question and do research before you purchase tires from here. read more

Severely disappointed with this store location. Stopped in for flat repair at 5:30 which I understand is not a favorable time, because I too worked for the company as a tech for 3 years. But instead of leaving with safe conditions I was instead before even getting out of my vehicle I was chased off by a manager who proceeded to try and convince me that they cannot jack up a ford f250 with a normal jack, and that they only use the air jack in the mornings. I know this is not true due to being a tech for the company for a few years. I sadly know it was due to laziness and the time I showed up. Mr Halle would be so ashamed to see the utter laziness that I saw today. The worst part is knowing that these guys probably give the same lies out to customers that know much less about the operation. I'm sorry to say that due to this manager alone at this location americas tire company, as a whole, has lost not only a customer that has spends thousands of dollars a year with the company, but even lost a former employee that would vouch whole heartedly for the company until today. Point blank: I've been to this store twice and still haven't paid a dime. Yep, you heard me right. The first time I went in, I had a screw in my tire. They fixed it for free. Not only did they fix it for free, but the service was fast and the employees were great. They didn't try to sell me anything either, which I really appreciated. Most companies don't realize that this is the type of service that will bring people back and make customers more willing to spend money when they need service. The second time I went in, they rotated my tires for free. They told me it would take 45 minutes but I was out of there in 30. Keep in mind, I'm from Boston. I drove to California from Boston. I drive 100 miles a day to Hollywood and back for work. These tires were not purchased at this store and they still go above and beyond to help me. This type of service has convinced me to go to them when I need to buy (4) new tires, which I'll be needing very soon. Bravo! read more

After sliding my way to work one morning in the rain, I knew that it was finally time... my tires were worn as low as they could possibly go without being totally unsafe and I had procrastinated long enough ... after all, buying 4 tires is no cheap feat, no matter where you go! I did a lot of research and found a set of tires that I wanted. Once I had the brand & the tire name, I started looking at tirerack.com and then from there I went to other tire stores, both online and locally, comparing prices. All were willing to do a price match with tirerack. America's Tire didn't HAVE to do a price match, their tire prices were already LOWER! Anyway, the difference in price between the tire shops actually came down to other fees, such as installation, recycling etc... (And frankly, after having been to America's Tire Co, I have no idea where these other tire stores get their extra fees from, that they charge so much more!) Anyway, I went to America's Tire company to get their quote. The gentlemen working there were very helpful (great salesmen too, kudos!) and gave me a complete "out-the-door" price. Not only did they end up $100 (or more in some cases) below other tire stores in the area, so they had already beaten their competitors what price was concerned, but there was also a $100 rebate special running that weekend so I ended up saving about $200! I was ecstatic. My tires were shipped in & installed, prompt & friendly service, I'm really happy with both service & price and will not hesitate to recommend the Upland division of America's Tire Co to friends & family! read more

Anyway, pulled up and saw a sign with my name on it and go park there. For those of you that own class C motorhomes this is the place to visit to replace your tires. Completely awesome experience. Kyle confirmed my order for the Cooper Discoverer HT3 All-Season tires (7) and set up an appointment for the following week. Justin assisted, as well, and when I arrived at the appointed time their technicians converged on the rig like clockwork. Both Kyle and Justin were off work for this particular day, however, Jonathan stepped up to insure all the work was done to spec. He was very courteous and professional. As America's tire no longer offers metal valve stems I provided them prior to the installation and the techs installed them, no problem. The entire experience took about 1.5hrs. I can't say enough about the work by the technicians. They are the heart of the operation. Major kudos to Jonathan and the team! The only thing disappointing was that the shop no longer offers free coffee to the customers. Other than that, please check them out for your tire needs and be sure to ask for the AAA discount if you are a member. It saved me another $10 off per tire. Thank you team America's tire, Upland!! This Americas Tire is located behing the car wash and AAA office. I have purchased tires and gone in for simple air pressure and tire rotations. I went in a few days ago when it was raining and asked them to check the pressure in my trucks tires. I received immediate service and the tech who helped me was polite. A word of advise I can give people out there that may say prices here are a bit more. When I drive to vegas or pull the seadoos to Lake Havasu City, there are Americas and Discount tire locations. Any problems, I just pull in and its handled. If you want to save a few bucks and go to a no name shop, dont cry when you break down and have to pay out of pocket, because your mom and pop warranty is not valid at someone elses shop. read more
