I drove up today to get my air pressure checked only to find out I had a slow leaking tire. I prepared myself for an eye gouging, and went inside. I was warmly greeted by Thomas and David who took down my information, and walked out to my car with me for a quick inspection of the problem. Thomas got down on his knees and inspected the inside of my tire. He told me that he'd look into fixing the flat, but he wouldn't know for sure until he took it off the car and really looked at it. Thomas assured me I'd be out of there within 30 minutes, I was in a rush, but safety first, so I waited in the lobby. 23 minutes later, Chris came by and told me what they'd found. They had repaired my flat, and I was good to go. Just like that! No charge, I was very surprised. Thank you David, Thomas, and Chris for taking care of me. During the week my tires had said that I have low tire pressure after second day of it not correcting itself I went back to American tires I originally bought my tires and rims it was already past 5 o'clock I didn't know that they close at 5 and they went ahead and checked my tires. One of the tires was really low and I asked them even though your closed are you able to look at my tire because I don't want to get stranded somewhere with my son, he said absolutely not a problem so they took me in even though they had already been closed for 25 minutes and I thought that was just wonderful as they put our safety first they didn't have to they could have said you're fine for the night come back in the morning but no they took us and they were really nice about it and I appreciated it! read more

This may sound trite, but as a woman I was nervous going to service my car for a nail that had penetrated my driver's side front tire. Much to my surprise, however, the staff at America's Tire were not condescending or dismissive. In fact, I arrived literally all of ten minutes before they closed and they did not close their doors to me. They were helpful, informative, warm, and ever so kind! I stopped by today at the Foothill Upland America's Tire to get the air checked on my tires because it gave me a message that I had low pressure. Ryan is the one who helped me. I was very impressed with his knowledge and courtesy. He gave me valuable information about tire pressure. What I wasn't impressed with was that before I was actually helped, he asked the other young men a question. Two were courteous to him and tried to answer his question. One, however, seemed to belittle him with his response where it would make him feel stupid. I thought that it might have embarrassed Ryan a little bit. I admire that Ryan asked the question because that's how one learns, instead of keeping quiet and not learning anything. I don't know if Ryan is new but I was very impressed by him. I feel that he is an asset to America's Tire. I'm marking a 4 star, not because of Ryan, but because I feel that the employees should be in-serviced about being a team and helping each other out. Like I said, the other two young men were courteous to him. Maybe it's the one young man that should learn to be a bit more of a team player. read more

I have bought a few tires here. Most the time they are pretty good their prices with mount balance and insurance are always higher than Costco. I did have them sell me some lower speed rated tires once for the same price as as the higher speed rating. I called Michelin and explained because Americas tire told me they wouldn't fix the issue I wanted the correct tires I was promised. When I told them I called Michelin and they would take of it they suddenly Americas tire decided to put the correct tires on that I paid for. Now when I go in they have given me a hard time at other locations for whatever notes they have on their computer. I still buy tires here occasionally. They do honor their warranty's. I'd give more stars if I could. Hard working men at this spot and I've been to a couple different locations for help. Quick story of my experience: Not long ago I called in around 4:30 needing air in my tires due to the light being on..once I found out they closed at 5 I told the man I was speaking with (Thomas, I believe) that I'd just come in the next morning. Thomas insisted I come in. He said they would wait for me even if it was past closing time especially because we were expecting rain that evening and he didn't want there to be more of a chance I would hydroplane. I showed up to him and all the employees in the middle of closing clean up and they dropped what they were doing to help me. I didn't even have to get out of the car. Okay, allow me to say... Don is the man. I had come in to essentially fix a flat, I had my donut on and had forgotten to let the guys know the original was in the messy trunk. Panicked thinking I will need a new one, (the nail was sticking out of the tire walls). He assured that he'd try to save me as much money and headache as possible, and sure enough, was able to patch the old one like new, sat the donut back in the trunk, didn't charge a dime! There is just no better way to buy tires. Buy a full set, add their warranty for $13 or so a tire, and all you have to do is have the tires rotated at each oil change. Its a no brainer. The crew here is so efficient, even on the busiest of days, they coordinate things to a T, and have you out as quickly as possible. read more

We are officially done with America's Tire. We ordered tires online and setup an appointment for the Ontario branch. Before our appointment they called to say that the tires were out of stock. So we ordered tires through the Upland branch and made an appointment for Saturday morning at 8:45am. I wake my daughter up at 6:45 and start the 50 min drive. With 5 minutes left In our drive to the tire store they call and said that they do not have to tires in stock and I am basically SOL. We ordered from this branch because the website said that they would have them in stock. At least the Ontario branch had the curtesy to call us days in advance. The worst thing is that after telling the associate in both occasions attempted to up sell us on tires that are 1.5 times the price. This is ridiculous!! read more

I made an appointment last week...they told me they put the two tires on hold for me. When I arrived and after waiting about 45 minutes they tell me they only have one of the tires I needed. Why make an appointment and have them "hold" tires for you if they won't do it?!? Have been a costumer for many years but won't be back! read more

This place is slow and their sales people try to rip you off with their warranties. America's Tire's other locations are great but this one is a horrible experience. The other locations I've been to would have had my car started with the tire rotation while they offer their warranty but this place won't start anything until they finish their paperwork. Which meant instead of a 10 minute wait I ended up waiting almost an hour because the guy at the counter was much slower than the salesman. read more

Chris Mcgowan is THE BEST!!! We got a flat tire on our way to Los Angeles for a very important meeting and this branch was the closest tire shop. We told Chris that we have just gotten 4 SUV tires a month ago and we got a flat tire on the freeway. Because at the time that we bought the tires, we did not get the certificate for repair and replace. We were just hoping to have the tire repaired. But he said that the damage couldn't be repaired. A new tire is needed. That is another $230 out the door, right? What he had recommended was to get the certificate of replacement, repair for all 4 tires which was only $ $169.25 and then they will replace the tire today and it will be covered. Another thing he did that was outstanding was, he gave us a loaner tire so we could go to Los Angeles and then come back in the afternoon for the replacement. I have been bringing my truck and my wives minivan here for over 6 years. We strongly believe in the warranties they offer, and have maxed the milage from our tires by having our tires rotated and balanced for free per the recommended schedule. On my last visit, I was told my tires are not worth rotating. Taken back at first, I had to calm myself and remember that the tires are so cracked I was afraid to put air in them myself, and that they have over 80,000 miles on them. I purchased them 6 years ago, and have gotten more than bargained for. Time to pick out a new set. P.S. My wife ran over something that slashed one of her tires last month, and yes, we got a free replacement. Just Sayin' read more

I've been bringing all my vehicles to AT for the last 25 years and the Upland store is by far the best one yet. Everyone is friendly, very helpful, and they get me in and out really efficiently. Most recently I bought a new set of tires that seemed to be causing some groove tracking (tramlining). When I came in after 2 weeks of driving on them, without hesitation or push back, they replaced the entire set. Kudos to Tom,(the manager)and his crew! read more

Came here yesterday and had amazing service. I called them about 50 minutes before they closed to see if I could get my front tires changed because they were in pretty bad condition. Jonathan answered and told me to come in. I didn't get the name of the two guys that changed them for me but they were super nice and super helpful! My one back tire had a bend in it that I didn't realize and was losing air fast and they noticed it right before I was about to leave and brought it back in to fix it for me. One of the best if not the best experience I have ever had in a Motor shop!!!! Robert is his name! The gentleman who came out of the tire shop to greet me as I parked my car! He was so kind and easy to talk to. I had just left the tire shop next door with the worst customer service I have ever encountered! You see my front passenger tire was faulty and it had been for years! I spoke to the tire shop (...Depot) next door and the guy had a smug attitude and he told me I needed a new tire and he said that all the three were perfect and then he told me to get all four tires for $500. I told him I wasn't working because of Covid-19. He told me to come back. I asked him if he could look at my tire and suggest an emergency fix and he bluntly said , NO!!! He walked out and left me there by myself!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I drove away in wonder!!! I googled any other tire shop and it was the America's Tire shop next door. This is were I found the best customer service which was offered to me by Robert who is just an all around gentleman! His customer service skills made me forget the filthy customer service minutes prior!!! Robert told me that he will take a look at my car and if the tire was not good;" we shall find ways to help you."He welcomed me into the office and took my information and he told me to wait on my number by 5:20PM. I was blessed to get there before closing and so he got me in quickly. He gave me sanitizer wipes to help me stay safe. I'm not exaggerating, at 5:20PM they called my name. My tire was awful and I got a new tire at the best price .....!!! I was very touched by Robert's kindness! Thank you very much, Robert. This review is not based on the service but the quality of work that was done. I had new tires put on my vehicle a few months back and they had a new guy do the work and one of my sensors ended up broken. I went back and they put a new sensor on. The new sensor worked for a few months then broke again. The inconvenience this has caused me is very unnecessary, having to wait 2 hours both times to fix their mistake. Don't go anywhere else. This place is AWESOME. I came in because of a nail in my tire, and they had me in and out of there in seriously no more than 25 minutes. The tire had to be replaced because of the nail location but the typical tire "upsell" was minimal and not pushy at all. In the end I was satisfied with the tire i picked. Buddy told me about them as he has gone to them before. I called about a tire with a nail in it and what the cost would be, they said free tire repair and rotation. I drove down and did a tire check etc. I have only 8500 miles so knew tires were good. Nothing is ever free right!!! So knew something was coming they tried to sell a 17.50 plan for each tire for future issues he didn't push it which was nice but obviously expecting it. If I drive alot didn't seem bad overall if there was an issue. In the end they checked the tire and found nail was not all the way in so no issue or cost. They were professional and nice. You get A+ customer service from everyone in the place and tire installation service with hustle. After walking in and deciding on what brand of tires I wanted, I was told that my Tahoe would have four new tires mounted on it in 45 minutes. I had my doubts, but true to their word, I received a text in 45 minutes, indicating that my car was ready. I looked over at my vehicle through the side window of the waiting room area and saw four new tires mounted on my truck. All they had left to do was to load the spare tire back on to the spare tire hoist. It was a 1-hour turn around time by the time I sat back in the vehicle and drove home.
