After walking in and deciding on what brand of tires I wanted, I was told that my Tahoe would have four new tires mounted on it in 45 minutes. I had my doubts, but true to their word, I received a text in 45 minutes, indicating that my car was ready. I looked over at my vehicle through the side window of the waiting room area and saw four new tires mounted on my truck. All they had left to do was to load the spare tire back on to the spare tire hoist. It was a 1-hour turn around time by the time I sat back in the vehicle and drove home. Went here since it is closer to my location. I ordered a set of 4 tires and it got there quickly as promised to get it into my crossover. The guys are nice to deal with BUT I think the performance of the installers are not so good. They try to get you in and out so fast that the job isn't always right. First off I came there because I got a good price on a set of really expensive tires for my size 20 rims. I figure that these guys would be different from other mom and pop shop that does not care about installation at all instead they are the same as others that I have been before. Scratches on my nice wheels after the job is done on my once virgin wheels. Having said that, I could deal with the minor wear and tear which is part of the deal but after running the tires on the freeway a few of the weights fell of the leaving my tires out of balance on the first day I rolled out of the shop..! I took it back and they said that it was probably from a previous set of weights but I insisted on getting it check anyway ... so after it was done I asked if the wheel was off balance and the installer confirmed that indeed it was off. For those of you that don't pay close attention to detail it will eventually cost you more down the road not to inspect the work after it is done. Yes they are nice guys but you can't bank on appeal to get you where you need to go specially when your wheels are vibrating on the freeway as did my CUV after it was supposed to be done right the first time. Sadly I even paid extra for the warranty but I am not coming back to this place again. I don't mind paying more I just want the satisfaction knowing that it is done the right way and with care..! read more

Went in for a tire repair had a nail in the center of my tire Brandon was helping me he came back and said I had another nail on the side and the tire could not be fixed I knew it was only one nail I checked the tire before I brought it into there shop. Complete lie to try to sell me a new tire. I told him him let me see the other nail he left came back couple minutes later with some other guy wich looked like his manager his name was Thomas and said oh your fine it was just one nail. These people tried to scam me unbelievable I've been a customer for years bought alot of tires at American tire. will not be returning very disappointed. read more

The customer service and quality of service in this shop is excellent! I'm buying my second set of tires, this time for my Mazda 3. I came in expecting to get a set of Falken's, unfortunately they had an inventory discrepancy. So, instead of asking me to wait for a tire to be delivered, they upgraded my tires to Kuhmo's at no extra charge. Service is as attentive and friendly as can be, no matter how busy it is. If you get your tires replaced here, it comes with lifetime pressure checks, rotations, and what not for free. They even send you e-mails when it's about time to get 'em checked; interestingly enough, I had just noticed that 2 of my tires were slightly deflated yesterday and received an e-mail from them later that day. Coincidence? ...yeah prolly, but still. Anyway, I've never had a bad experience here and even for a corporate store, they'll take care of you. read more

I went in because I had a nail sticking out of my sidewall. They replaced the tire with zero hassle on warranty (because the tires were purchased at a different Americas Tire). I found that the staff greeted everyone very professionally and all of the guys there seemed to be quite busy and occupied. However it was very well orchestrated. I went to the Upland Discount Tire and was impressed. From the time I got there to the time I left, I think I was at the facility for maybe 20 minutes. I was greeted right away and told that they would be right with me. I had previously picked out my tires thru the website and no one tried to upsell me or pressure me into buying more tires (I only bought two because they were desperately needed and only had the budget for those two). I felt genuinely cared for and respected as a customer which is important to me since I feel as a woman some shops try to take advantage of the lack of knowledge. Almost seemed too good to be true! Usually my dad takes my car in, but I decided to put my girl pants on and take my car in myself. I made an appointment and my car was in and out in thirty minutes (to patch one tire that had a screw lodged in it) and it was FREE OF CHARGE! I told the service man in disbelief, "But I didn't even buy my tire here!!!" He said, "That's okay, maybe you will buy your tires from us one day." I definitely will. :) read more

Brough my car to get new tires install with an appt. I knew the crew here was inexperienced based on the slow work ethics. No hurry to do anything. It took them half an hour before working on my car, with an empty stall with my new tires waiting. I always stand there to see that they are doing their job correct. I have experienced in auto&airplane mechanic, autobdy&paint, and welding. So I can spot a good technician. First the kid put the rubber blocks to jack up the car, the blocks were all cricket. It's a good indication he's inexperienced or doesn't care. He jacked up my car, on the left side was good and I go look on the right side. He put the rubber blocks on my body filler which is plastic. Which pushed the plastic body out out and put a minor dent on frame of my car. I got the manager to see what happened and he said there's wrong with it, really! I told them to just finished up and we'll look at it afterwards. I was watching them work on my car the whole time. Once they were, I ask the kid, "hey did you guy put air in my front tires? He yes, I said really? because I only saw you guys removed the tires from rear and installed them to the front. So he put air into my front tires. My experience here was pretty pathetic, I don't know about you. But i trust and expect professionalism when pay for any service. They manager didn't bother to follow up with me to assess the damage and instead sent the assit. manager. I push back the plastic body filler in place, I had a minor dent on the frame. I said I fine with the minor damage because I don't have time to go get an estimate for a dent I don't noticed on the bottom. I told to assist. manager "that's messed up! How do you like it if it happened to your car." He said he would be mad too. He said, next time when I come in to contact him so he can make sure he'll get experience guys to work on my car. Really! This is why I rarely get work done here and prefer the shop on Central, Montclair. It's pretty sad, because I get all my tires with them. Well, this is my last time coming here. Wow! read more

John answered the phone and said to come in and they would put the spare on if needed and order my tire for the location closest to my house! Wow was I impressed. I called for an out-the-door quote on the tires I wanted. I needed to be sure that the phone quote was the same as on their web site. It was so I then told the fellow on the phone that if they tried to find oil leaks, etc. I would leave immediately. He assured me that they only sell and service tires. After seeing their website I called them on Thursday morning to order a set of 4 tires and was told that they didn't have them in stock but could order them for me and have them the next day which was fine with me. They called me on Friday morning to inform me that the tires had arrived and I could come in when I was ready and they would install them on my car. I went down around 11:30 am and they were finished in 45 minutes and even changed out my spare for one of my used tires and didn't even charge for the service. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous and their prices are hard to beat. The only reason that I'm not giving them 5 stars is that I needed work done on my car that they couldn't do and when I asked for a recommendation they sent me to Brake Masters which is down the street. Unfortunately that turned out to be a very bad experience. I don't understand how America's Tire, who do such a great job, could recommend such an awful place. read more
