We hired this company to clean our carpets and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience. The carpets were not cleaned properly, and the odor we specifically asked them to address remained, even after they charged us extra for a deodorizer. We contacted them twice afterward to request they come back out, and were told, in essence, that we just needed to deal with it. To make matters worse, we were incorrectly charged twice and had to go through the hassle of addressing the billing error. For the price we paid, we expected professionalism, quality service, and accountability. Instead, we received none of the above. We cannot recommend this company and would strongly suggest others look elsewhere for carpet cleaning services. We will be reporting to the BBB read more

We requested all the vents in the house be cleaned. Evan did a great job. Very professional and amiable. Evan did a very good job of explaining what he was going to do. That helped in understanding the process. For the money it is a very good value. I recommend Americlean. If needed in the future I will call them again. read more

BEWARE!!! If you want consideration for damage to your NEW home, Carly from Cedar Rapids, (the owner's daughter - who is going to ruin the company with her terrible interpersonal skills) will threaten to have you arrested! (If she does that to you, be advised the police laughed when I called to ask about this). Carly sent a new guy to do a 3600 sq ft home by himself. He sent me a text while here, saying it would take him longer than anticipated because my home was "pristine". When I arrived, he showed me damage he did to my home (wall and baseboards). Said he didn't have enough towels to protect my walls and baseboards. The returns and floor vents were still off. The ceiling vents were in place and there was no ladder. When I called the office about the damages, they called Carly (who wasn't there) and told me she said not to pay the bill and she would call me in the AM to discuss. She called twice but left only one message the following day. I did not see her calls until after hours. She called again Tuesday and said she needed to send out someone to look at the damage. I told her I already had it fixed. She did not believe me and started yelling at me. I asked for her email and said I would send photos of the damages. She continued to yell and HUNG UP on me. What GM does that to a customer?? I also told her about her new guy wearing booties while going in and out of my home. My newly cleaned floors were filthy. I sent her an email with photos and asked for confirmation the guy cleaned the ceiling ducts. I asked her to communicate via email going forward. I heard nothing, so mailed a check on Wednesday minus $100 for repairs and cleaning. DESPITE the fact I had no confirmation that the ceiling vents were cleaned. After I had mailed the check, Crystal called me. I called back and Crystal was gone. I requested a call back the next day. No call back. I was in the process of packing and moving this entire time. (I had this company clean a smaller home 8 years ago. There were 2 or 3 people sent to do that job. This was a completely different experience and I bet Daddy was the GM at that time). Now, Carly will write some sort of retort, like she always does, but please beware. This was a HORRIBLE experience during the already stressful experience of a pack and move. If my vents were filthy and this was the only company in town, I would pay to have someone drive from another city to do this work. P.S. Carly's "story" - which she repeatedly yelled at me - is they have been in business for 40 years, but her Daddy has owned the business for 26 years. read more

I had my 13 year old boxer break open a tumor on his leg and make a MESS of the carpet and house. They came in and did a great job of cleaning up without a single complaint or hesitation of the blood all over the floors. Great experience for our much needed duct cleaning. We had 1/3 of our home rebuilt due to Derecho so yeah our ducts had to be a mess. Our tech, Brian, was awesome and explained everything. We requested an appointment to have our Furnace System Cleaned in early November for November 24th. We received a call on the 24th in which we were told the appt. had to be canceled due to employees with the flu. This would of course be fine but, Americlean must have forgot that they left a message earlier in the week that they had to reschedule we had just not gotten back to them. We had the system cleaned today by Americlean. We had to leave the house but, were quoted $600 plus before we left which included all of the registers. When we returned we were presented a bill for $910. When we called Amy at Americlean and told her the tech said it would be $600 plus. She said she would call the tech and did the "token" call. She called back and said we must have been confused. All she could say is I'm sorry that you "feel" that you feel that way. I said this has nothing to do with feelings but, rather business and honesty. She said I'm sorry there is nothing I can do for you. Live and learn......If you are not an honest company I will not do business with you in the future. read more
