I called and had a hard time getting the saleswoman to say whether or not they carried certain kinds, despite the fact that their website said they did. Finally she directed me to the man in charge, and he told me they had the pullets I wanted. Only after asking exactly how old they were did I find out they were a little over two weeks old, but "very hardy". Of course they weren't hardy enough to put outside in the coop yet, but he was willing to call them pullets and say they were really hardy, just not hardy enough to be outside or without a heat lamp! That's not hardy, by the way. The second time I tried to buy something from them was when I wanted to make a fence using hardware cloth to protect my garden from gophers. They were unable to sell me the size and length I needed, and didn't offer to order it for me. I said I would look on Amazon and they said OK and hung up. Why don't farm stores sell things farmers need in Yakima? Why is Amazon the only place you can find things like basic fencing or decent chicken feed? Why don't any stores like this sell actual pullets instead of just chicks? Did you know not everyone that has a chicken coop outside has a place to raise chicks inside?

Their "waiting area" consists of two uncomfortable chairs with a coffee station with no coffee available and a plastic tree held together by duct tape. You would think if you're going to make someone wait two hours for you to do a 30 minute job, you would least provide water or a tv to watch while you sit and wait.... and wait... and wait some more. Just goes to show that Yakima continues to provide substandard services. It was late and he arrived promptly. We are so thankful that he came. There was in fact a leak in the line. We definitely recommend Amerigas. Their service tech was very knowledgeable and professional. He's definitely an asset to the company.

I would have to call them on numerous occasions for follow up. Basically doing their job for them. On top of that they have the highest propane prices in the Moses Lake area. They didn't, but the gentleman working told me they were expecting some Friday. I came back today and picked up six chickens. We've never owned chickens before, and while I had done my research beforehand, I still needed some guidance. The younger gentleman who helped me was able to tell me the temperament of each breed, as well as what color eggs they'd lay and how often they'd lay. When we were ready, he boxed the chickens up for us, and then helped me pick out the best feed for them. The older gentleman who rang us up also helped carry out the feed and bedding. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back for any future needs!
