Chris is an A+ guy! He has come to our house probably 4 times in the 8 years we've been here, and he is always pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. Mark came to our house to give us a quote on sunscreens, insect screens and a screen for the sliding glass doors. I was so pleased to get an email the day before the appointment reminding me of it. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to educate us. He gave us plenty of options and was straightforward with pricing. We took a couple days to think about it and do price comparison. Amerizona had competitive pricing and we liked their service the best. So we completed our order over the phone. A few days later, someone came out to do measurements. Then a few weeks after that someone else came out to install our screens. All the workers were professional and quick. The product is high quality. We're very pleased! I really enjoyed working with Amerizona. They came to our house to give us an estimate. They were very friendly, knowledgable, and answered our questions. Once we decided to order the sunscreens they came out the next day to measure. The service guy was by quick. Originally they quoted us 3 weeks to get everything done, but they were so amazing the screens were installed the following week! We had AmeriZona outfit our home with sunshades and vertical blinds in 2005. Dustin was very professional and knowledgeable. He installed the blinds and shades and we were completely satisfied with the quality and workmanship. We sold that home in 2010 and once again called and Dustin came out to give us a quote. This time we bought wood blinds as well as verticals and sunscreens. Once again the service and quality was impeccable! I have never been so pleased with a company. Met Robin at the home show and "we we're impressed". We scheduled an appt. and looked forward to seeing how much our window covering was going to cost, only to find out Robin was coming out an hour early because she had another appointment in Scottsdale that morning and insisted our appt. was 930, not 1030AM. What I find surprising is I was told that Robin doesn't do appt.s on Saturday and she was called to see if she would make an exception for me. I had other contractors who stuck to their SCHEDULED APPT that morning, so why should they be inconvenience because of her poor planning. Currently I was with a security rep for their 9AM appt and a landscaper coming at 10AM. It seemed Robin felt she was going to come out anyways and wanted to know how to get there and I should tell my security appt rep or landscaper to wait. Very Rude and inconsiderate, in addition clear directions and cross streets were given when I made the appt. A little professionalism in being prepared and not waiting to the last minute and then calling the home owner for directions would of been appreciated. In addition, I had blocked out 2 hours to meet with her for our appt. at 10:30 to pick out shutters and colors before our next home security person came at 12:30PM (picking out shutters/samples was also noted when I made the appt), so how was she going to do a Scottsdale appt. too that morning, even if the appt was 0930, which it WASN"T she was calling me at 9:10AM for directions 45 minutes away. Really?!!! So glad I dodged this bullet in customer service before any purchase, because shutters for 20 windows would have been expensive and future customer service would of been a disappointment. I purchased Hunter Douglas wood blinds for my bedroom and though they look just fine, they do not block the light. The slats do not overlap enough or close tight enough. These blinds would still require a drape in front of them. I have had wood blinds before that did block the light and I had no reason to believe that Hunter Douglas would have a lesser quality product. I called Amerizona left a message and they have not had the professionalism to return my call. My lesson learned, is no more Hunter Douglas and no more Amerizona. read more

We purchased a new build home and met Robin at the home and garden show. We were greatly impressed with her knowledge of shutters and the cost they "should be". Not only did we get a quote 2500 cheaper than all the competition, the shutters are amazing. Our house now looks like a million bucks! The quality is amazing, the install was flawless and the shutters are made in the USA. It only took 4 weeks from the order date to have them installed. I had an appointment scheduled at our rental property from 10:30-12:30 tomorrow to quote some additional sunscreens. They called just before 5 pm the day prior to say we had a 9-10:30 appointment (which we definitely did not, as I wrote the time right on my calendar when I made it and then scheduled the other appointments around that!) and to see if I could meet earlier at 8 or 8:30 am because it was more convenient for them. I indicated I had other appointments at the property between 10-2 and could maybe meet at 9:30 am but no earlier as it was already arranged with the tenant and otherwise I would need to make a special trip. He proceeded to ask me where I live and how long it would take me to get down there, saying it was really inconvenient because he lives around the corner and would need to go to central Phoenix, then back to our house in NW Glendale, then to Queen Creek. I got agitated at this point that he would be so inconsiderate said that was unfortunate but knew where I was located when I made the appointment so we need to stick to that. I asked to see if another salesperson could help me during the window of time I was available and he said he was declining my business altogether. Ironically I would have been fine with an earlier appointment if I had just known about it the week prior when I made the appointment, so I could schedule all the appointments around it. The whole experience just rubbed me the wrong way. read more
