Went there on a Saturday evening during a date. The staff was courteous and there was no wait at 8pm to get a lane. The rental shoes were clean and in good condition. However, there was one big problem with the ambiance. The layout of the tables and chairs makes no sense to me. Each lane has two round tables which are stacked parallel to the lane. In other words, whichever party gets the rear table is somewhat shutout of the action. It's a very poorly devised layout; I hope they consider changing it. Of course we were the second group to arrive. A family already had taken up the front table. There isn't even a single chair at the score keyboard! We took matters into our own hands and pulled up a couple chairs to the front of our lane. We still had no table, but at least we could watch each other bowl. read more

Been bowling here on the same league since 1998 and have seen this place devolve into a total mess. Lanes routinely break down, horrible racks, too oily, too dry depending upon the night. Bowlers with a 190 average will definitely see their scores drop 5%-10%. We have alerted management and their response is silence. Now the "new Bowlero rules" are being enforced by the center manager. Since I have been in our Monday night league, we have always had a league wide "pot luck" right before Christmas. A tradition that pre-dates my arrival. Well, the manager, who obviously can't run a bowling facility, has decided not to allow outside food into the building for all of us to share during the Holidays. If I could give zero stars, trust me I would. Virtually every man and woman in this league has had it with this place but, like fools, we continue to come back. I do not want a fake apology from the manager on here to appease me or look good to the YELP audience. Trust me readers, these people don't give a rats ass about any of us so don't buy into their BS. 1st off, the phone # listed is incorrect. After calling a few times & getting no answer I googled it & found the correct #, it's 602-971-1105. I received a coupon via email for 99 cent games so I called a few of our friends & we made a night of it. Stupid me should have asked beforehand, I wasn't aware that it was 1 game=1 person. Therefore, with the 6 of us that was about $6 worth right there (you could only buy up to 10 for the 99 cent games). We played 3 rounds & with 10 games being 99 cents our total came to about $54, not such a good deal after the fact! Oh well we had fun, but will definitely just do cosmic, or "exteme" bowling as it's referred to now, next time. Oh & one thing that was pretty annoying was that we all ordered some food to munch on & a couple pitchers of beer. I put my debit card on hold for the tab & when the bill came I asked if we could apply $64 in cash to our tab & I'd pay the rest with my card. After waiting for about 10 minutes I went up to the bar to see what the problem was. The manager informed me that she would have to void the transaction but that the charge would remain on my account for 7 days, therefore I would not be reimbursed for a good week. WTF!? It's been a sad experience ...really! Went there with my girlfriend on a Saturday evening and signed up for the 15$ special that includes 'UNLIMITED PIZZA?', 2 hrs of bowling and shoes. The bowling experience was regular and the guy at the counter did the needful for which I was generous with the tip. NOW THE FUN PART WAS THE 'UNLIMITED PIZZA' . I believe this was some kind of a joke. 1. The unlimited Pizza only includes the Pepperoni and Cheese 1-topping options and none other. my girlfriend wanted the veggie option and guess what.....u need to pay for it seperately... 2. I was okay with the 1-topping... but They wouldn't give you any pizza......hahahahahahahha....U need to request them time and again and again and again and again. Beers are also expensive at 7$ a tall. All in all we walked out of the place even before the allocated 2 hours. all in all it was a HORRIBLE experience. We went just last night. We were in the mood to relax, have some beers and bowl and decided against Dave & Busters. It always get to be so expensive there. Anywho, we like the local lanes. We had not been to this one but had driven by many times. We expected it to be kinda dodgy, because let's face it, local lanes most often are, right? This place is clean, looked pretty updated, shoes looked pretty new - we were glad we came. It was Black Friday, wasn't sure what kind of crowd would be there but it was about half full. Since we had a group, we kind of wanted a lane that wasn't partnered with another group since the place wasn't full. We came to find out they were doing maintenance on the empty lanes, so we had fewer options. We then remembered reading some of the reviews that they do have lane maintenance issues often. Hmm. Whatever, we got set up, started bowling and within the first few players' turns, the lane got jammed - twice. No biggie, they moved us and were nice enough to add some time onto our 2-hour rental. (Oh yeah, decent price - like $15 for 2 hours and shoes per person I think it was.) The new lane worked well, but we had to ask them to reset it after each game was finished because for some reason their system wouldn't let us do it ourselves. Beer selection was decent, servers were attentive and friendly (except for the older gentleman server who was lacking personality and was kinda snippy). Looks like they have a lot of weekly special rates so we will definitely be stopping back by. Oh yeah, after 10pm it became "Extreme Bowling" - which here it means spinning party lights and neon and lots of DRAKE. Why guys? Why?! LOL read more

Blah, Unless you are bowling during league play , dont bother , the lanes are never oiled and the ball goes all over the lanes, not very fun when your actually trying. If you are looking to just hang out and score dosent matter. The specials are great so its a fun time for the price , usually 10 bucks for two hours, not too shabby. Boozers Beware!- Get at least two drinks when you go to the bar, it might still take them ten minutes to make. The bar is a dreadful place with a painfully slow staff. I agree with others on here. The management is awful. My son broke his hand on the boxing machine and the manager could care less. I had to go above to the district manager to get the machine removed which was in fact broken. Complained a bunch to the districts aged about a lot of other issues too. The dirtiness of the carpets, lack of oil on the lanes, popcorn all loved floor during league play. Some of which had gotten better. We will see how things progress. I will be watching! Literally the rudest customer service! This place is actually nice inside and based on that I would have returned, but the customer service was terrible! We had bought a groupon but were told we could not use it because we had to wait 24 hours...weird, but ok, whatever...except the person was SUPER rude about it, still we gave her the benefit of the doubt at that point. Started bowling, got a pitcher of beer and some food for the kids. Kids wanted some water so I said to go ask for some, they came back and said the bartender said they had to buy it. What?? Every restaurant/establishment I have ever been to offers water cups?? So my husband and I went up to ask, the bartender immediately said they were under new management and they aren't allowed to give water because they would rather sell it and make money. I told them it's illegal in Arizona to deny water, then the manager came over and said hey had a water fountain so it's not illegal. Really?? They wouldn't give my kid a cup of water after we bought food and beer? WORST part? My daughter and her friend went outside and heard the bartender having her smoke break dropping f bombs about me and saying I was the 7th "f-ing" person to get mad about it. Classy, glad they got to hear that! We also witnessed several other frustrated customers, obviously there is a customer service issue here. Too bad because the the facility is nice. We will go back to our locally owned favorite place that might not look as nice, but they treat their customers a LOT better!! read more

Went for extreme bowling on a Saturday! 1. The place looks trashy and dirty - inside & out! 2. Other than the Extreme fee of $16.00, even though I had my own shoes & socks. I was charged an additional $4 for socks with no explanation or refund from the manager. Safety issue - if you bowl here and have difficulties with seeing in the dark, remember to step up on to the bowling platform. They have no colored tape/paint that there is a step up. Our experience at this bowling alley was mixed - the pizza and waitress were great, but the management had severe shortcomings. Just as a background, our group loves experiencing new activities and new locations across the entire spectrum of international travel, fancy dining, stamina sports, down to bare down-to-earth deals. While we don't mind spending a few hundred dollars for a single meal, we do mind it when a vendor does not uphold their promise - it's the principle of the thing - otherwise, what's to stop vendors to perpetually bait and switch? We made a reservation for 7 people at this bowling alley to make use of a coupon that promised unlimited bowling and unlimited pizza for $11.95. The fine-print stated that this price might vary by location. So when we made the reservation, we asked them if they would honor the $11.95 price, and they confirmed that they would. We called a second time to verify the price (since some on the group might have agreed to the outing based on the price), and once again, they reassured us that the price would hold. When we arrived for our game night, they reneged and said $15.11. We asked them to look in their appointment book and see who promised us the price on the phone. The person in charge that evening said that the initials in the appointment book were undecipherable, so that he couldn't tell which staff member promised us the price on the phone. We asked him if we could talk to a corporate number to see if they could give him the authority to honor the coupon. He gave us a number and allowed us to waste another 10 minutes only to find that the corporate office was closed (did he not know their hours?) Long story short, they had baited us, we were counting on an evening of bowling and pizza, and ended up wasting 25 minutes talking to the person-in-charge and paid them $22 more than we had budgeted for, plus gave them additional revenue via the beers and milk-shakes that we ordered. Among other disappointments, the men's restroom did not have paper towels at the beginning of our evening and the seating for the bowlers was sub-par - far worse than other alleys we've been to. read more

Lanes are always broken, oil all over the place, food is either cold or makes you sick, they hired new kitchen staff so hopefully that will fix the problem. bartenders can't make simple cocktails, when you complain they offer to remake it and it still isn't right, don't even ask for your money back cuz that won't happen. Be sure you are not being over charged because that has happened to me twice. It's a run down dive bowling alley with a parking lot filled with junkies. Came to this place with a group of 5 friends, server told me what not to order from the food menu because it was A: quote "discussing as fuck" Or B: "not safe to eat" I would assume from cross contamination. Secondly the bar tender is a straight up jerk, he will take his take time making a drink on a busy night. He's not polite or friendly and will great you with a stubborn "what do you want to drink?" It's a pretty dumpy bowling alley and I'm hoping that this new Bolero thing they are doing includes renovating this dump. However the 2 starts aren't for the conditions of the bowling alley, but for the management. I've been going to this place for a couple of years and they just have shitty management period. Clearly no one is in charge in that place. I'll give employees the benefit of the doubt, but over time it's clear that AMF either doesn't train their managers, or their HR department just doesn't give a shit about who they hire as managers. They would be better off firing all the managers and starting new. read more

Great place for bowling! It's big it has a relaxing atmosphere! They also have a nice variegated menu. My friend and I got the avocado hummus and we both loved it!!! Prices depend on the day and time you go in. But it never goes above $6 for one round. Staff was nice and welcoming!! Will be back!! read more

We visited this place on Saturday night with some friends and it is easily the cleanest bowling alley I have ever been to- which is kind of a-typical of a bowling alley. The front desk guys were super helpful and aided both us and the group next to us with removing bumpers and struggling through technology. They had a good beer selection, the bartender/server was a bit grouchy and rude but otherwise it was great. We also ordered snacks, wings, pretzels and a wrap- all were really good. Very poor customer service tonight. We came in to use a Groupon and told it could not be honored because we didn't purchase it 24 hours in advance. We also called in advance to make sure there would be lane availability, were told to come by but there is limited availability. They however failed to mention that ALL but 3 of their lanes are completely reserved all night for leagues. This makes a HUGE difference for us driving 30 minutes to the location. This place has really gone downhill. I hate leaving bad reviews but literally every aspect of our experience tonight has been a huge disappointment, and I wish someone had let me know before we came, so I'm trying to warn others. When we came in the person checking us in was incredibly rude, and before she had finished with me and my son she moved onto the people behind us. I had signed the receipt and was waiting for out shoes and lane number and the people behind us had already been checked in and sent to their lane. Finally helped me when I asked "can we please get our shoes and lane number?" So we go to our lane, type in our names and press "start game" but the screen isn't registering any of our scores. I go up and speak to someone who looks like the manager and she very rudely tells me that it's "obviously not gonna register because it's still showing blue and has to be red to register the scores. You have to press start game, see how all these other lanes have red? They pressed Start Game" I told her I did press Start Game and she says "No, you didn't. But I'll push it for you" and made it start from behind the front desk. I decided to not let it ruin our night and go have fun bowling with my son. He got hungry and wanted a pizza so I went and paid for it, and they delivered it to the wrong lane! I walked up to the bar and said "was that pizza not supposed to be for us?" He said "yeah I think I accidentally gave it to the wrong lane but I'll make you another one now" so after waiting 40 mins (20 for the first pizza that didn't make it to us and another 20 for the one we got) we had our pizza, and weren't even offered a partial refund. So the people who got our pizza got FREE pizza from us, and we had to pay full price. We will literally NEVER be back here. Let It Roll Bowl is where I would recommend everyone go. Definitely worth your time and money there.... The only redeeming point here is the bartender/server (I think his name was Jose) was kind and did apologize for the mistake, and gave us a free refill. When we got there we heard the manager nagging at the lady checking people out because she was not checking college IDs. No where on the website does it say we have to bring a college ID and she started checking IDs with us. A woman with short blond hair at the counter was super helpful in figuring out if we should do a package for the best price. Great customer service!
