This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to. I went there with my gf. We are an interracial couple. The busboy and waiter staff harrassed my gf by giving her harrassing looks and jealously drooling for her throughout our meal. She was deeply upset by this. Terrible experience there for dinner over the weekend. Family of the owners I assume were there with a large dinner party. 2 kids screaming and running around the entire time. The little one (maybe 18 months old) running around in bare feet. In/out of kitchen. In/out of bathroom. So disruptive. Then they were playing a movie on some sort of device. No headphones. Super loud. Very unpleasant dining experience. And very unprofessional of the owners to allow this to happen in what is supposed to be a nice classy restaurant. read more

I LOVE this place. Being the time it is, we have never tried this place in person. However, we have now become regulars ordering the same meal every single week. It's become addicting! It is truly delicious. Their delivery is extremely fast and the food always arrives piping hot. I found this place because of what they were doing during COVID- that is offering free meals and soup to seniors who needed it. Went here for a bridal shower (that my family helped arrange). I don't remember the exact pricing, but it was a pretty good deal... guests got choice of 2 salads and 3 entrees, plus bread and coffee and tea service. BYO, which helps save money! Nice enough set-up for our purposes. However, I thought the food was only okay. The salmon and vegetables I had were satisfying, but nothing special. They did attend to various dietary preferences/needs, but the staff also seemed a bit annoyed with it. Amici's seems like the type of place that's perfect to take your grandma for lunch. I don't think I would personally choose to go there for a meal, but I'd happily tag along if someone else requested the restaurant. read more

I got the Monte Carlo (fish and crab meat with a side or assorted vegetables). For the appetizer, we got the Calamari Fritti. The food was absolutely terrific. I was even more pleased than when I came here a few months ago because their service was superior. Also, they changed the calamari so that you can really taste the squid. I still enjoy how they are subtle with their service but still provide you with all your needs. Needless to say, I had yet another great dinner here. Definitely would recommend. read more

So let me say, this is by far, the WORST restaurant I have been to in many years. I went there because a friend said it was cheap but good, but it was not either. To start, the waiter had an attitude when I asked where he was from. The antipasto was a dish full of lunch meat and other jarred foods. My bf and I ordered the fish specials, and another waiter served our dishes. After I realized the skin was left on the top and the sauce was over that, I told our waiter. He then told me I was wrong and that is the way it is always prepared. Really? I have eaten at many places in my life (and many times in Italy) and have never had the skin left on the fish with sauce over that! He then told us that we were eating the wrong dish because the "other" waiter mixed them up. It was our responsibility to know the difference between our 2 fish specials. I have never had a waiter correct me twice while I was dining in their restaurant! Instead of apologizing, they blamed us! Then offered a free dessert, which I didn't want. The waiter never came back to our table. The food is not anything to even speak about, and the service is worse. As bad as Olive Garden is, it would be a better choice. read more

This was Christopher's until very recently. We had dinner here Friday night, and it's a great addition to the local dining scene. The menu is extensive, the food was excellent, and the service was attentive. We ate in the outdoor dining area behind the restaurant, which is pretty much exactly as it was before. Inside, one of the partitions has been ripped out, opening up the dining room. With the white table cloths and the more open dining room, it looks much more appealing inside. The chef/owner is from Italy by way of New York City, but has a lot of family in the Philadelphia restaurant scene, so we hope he likes his new setting. And we hope Amici is here for a long time. Update I wrote a review of Amici after dining there on the first Weekend they were open. We ate outside, and had a wonderful dinner. But we also took note of the attractive changes that had been made to the interior of the former Christopher's, and took the chance to experience those changes firsthand last week -- twice. We had lunch on Thursday, and found the new, more open interior, together with the white linen tablecloths and napkins, to be extraordinarily pleasant in the daytime. The setting was enhanced by the light flooding in from the front windows, enhanced by removing the the former curtains as part of the makeover. And the food was as delicious as the setting was attractive. We returned the following evening for dinner, the last night of the SJ Hot Chefs restaurant week, and thoroughly enjoyed the very well thought out fixed price restaurant week menu. What struck us both is that the seasonings and the sauces and the dressings were all exceptional, as were all four courses (well, five, if you count the coffee, espresso or cappuccino that was included on the fixed price menu). For the last few years, Blue Two O has been our favorite restaurant in the Cherry Hill area, and in our view the best seafood restaurant in South Jersey. But the flavors at Amici are so sophisticated, and their fish so fresh, that this is, hands down, the new best restaurant in the area for excellent fish dishes. But at its heart, Amici is an Italian restaurant, and for those who crave a first rate Italian restaurant in the Cherry Hill area, you're going to be really pleased. The setting is very attractive, the service is very attentive, and the food is very good. The fact that it's a BYOB only adds to the fine dining opportunities. Amici was quite lively and crowded on Friday night, so it appears that the word is already getting around. read more

This place is a friggin gem! This is the ONLY place that compares with Il Fiore. The service is phenomenal, the food is well worth the price and incredibly consistent. I waited to post a review until I had been here a bunch of times and I've eaten here 6 or 7 times and each time is just as good as the last. The best part about this place is that they have a small menu and spice things up with great specials, which keeps their offerings fresh and fun. Wine drinkers will love that they have FABULOUS wine glasses and do a wonderful job taking care of your bottles. The prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth every penny! read more

Have been eating here since my girlfriend made her move to Voorhees 3 months ago. To add in we usually have 0 COMPLAINTS and I'm not the type to complain but my 30 dollar special came with 2 clams and 3 muscles along with the lobster tail and just the amount of food that was given was pretty poor. Along with that my girlfriend had ordered chicken franchese as per usual, and it was just bland and the sauce was no where near the quality of sauce it usually is. The wait staff was robotic and inattentive. They were not congenial at all and acted as though they hated their jobs. In addition, the room was extremely noisy which made conversation difficult. I haven't been here in awhile but I used to go a lot. They have amazing food. It is very small inside and used to be very popular on weekends for indoor dining however I'm not sure if they're open for that right now. If it were cheaper I'd give it a higher rating. We got a delicous salad to start, organic and fresh. However, when we got our $15+ entrée we were so disappointed. Food at the restaurant was delicious although pricey. It was a special occasion so it was ok. I started ordering some of the food to pick up and that's where things fall apart. One of the appetizer dishes comes with five of the item in the restaurant. However, when it's a to-go order I only got three of the item. The price remained the same. The full-sized dishes were wrong. Got something other than what was ordered. The bread that came with the order of five main dishes and three appetizers was only four thin slices of bread and no butter was included. The pasta dish in the restaurant included plenty of marinara sauce though the pick-up order had barely enough sauce to cover the pasta. My pick-up order was over $150 and we live almost a half an hour away. They told us to come back and they would make things right though that would have added more than an hour (traffic and ordering being re-made) to our dining time. If things were made right and fairly from the get-go that would have been unnecessary. I just looked at the menu prices and they have gone up. Inflation? I don't know though something's not right. Such a shame because eating in the restaurant is usually without issue and the food is great. Take out? Not so much! read more

The only thing the waiter brought to us quickly was the check. We waited a half hour to be seated even when we had a reservation. Then another hour for our bland food to arrive. Apparently they forgot to put the order in. No apology from the wait staff and no checking to see if the food was to our satisfaction. Perhaps they were afraid of our response. This was the blandest Italian food I have ever had the displeasure of eating. We had to ask for cheese to add flavor. Although the prices were reasonable, the adage 'you get what you pay for' truly applies in this case. With so many other good Italian restaurants in the area I wouldn't waste my time or money eating at Amici. Not that I expected the sauces to have the same flavor as my grandmother made but at the very least I expected it to have some taste. read more

My husband and I visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day. It was our first time. We didn't realize they had a special menu for Valentine's Day. We were going to leave but the waiter suggested that they could make me chicken parmigiana which was not on the special menu. They were very accommodating. The food was okay. The things I didn't like was the set up on Valentine's Day was very tight. We were sitting against the wall and I felt we sat for long periods of time between dishes. Once the restaurant got crowded the waiters had to reach over other guests to pass us our food. We will visit this place on a non holiday to see if we like it better. read more

I wanted to share my experience in hopes no one will have the same issue. I made reservations in September for 28 people @ 6:00 for tonight, Christmas Eve. Family and friends are coming from Texas, PA and FL to share in a 4:00 Christmas Mass then dinner. Alex was the person who took my reservation back in September. I offered a credit card # twice during the conversation to secure my spot. Alex told me that was not necessary. I recently went to the restaurant to see if we could possibly come in at 5:45 since we are 28. The result was I HAVE NO RESERVATION. Unbelievable. I was beyond upset but most of all disappointed with a local restaurant were I frequent and have had many holiday and special event dinners. That was my personal experience, I hope you do not encounter the same! In all fairness to Alex\, he did offer me a 4:00 time. I explained we have a family member in the chore and that would be impossible. Alex responded nothing is impossible. Brought my family visiting from Florida to eat here. The food was great! The staff was nice, but their English is not very good. However, we were able to get seated, hear the specials, and order without much problem. We went a little early with a large party, and the restaurant quickly filled up. The restaurant was busy as it always seems to be on a Saturday, but our party of 2 was greeted and seated quickly around 715 pm walk-in. Wait time was only about 10 mins this time, but I would definitely suggest a reservation, they are very busy. The food was good. Bread and Italian dip they brought out was amazing. My wife ordered spaghetti and clams. The clams were fresh. I ordered the penne ala vodka. It was amazing. But enough of that... The service was AMAZING! We were seated, and an entire team of servers and helpers made us feel like royalty. At all times our waiter was in continuous watch of our table, and all others around us, to make sure no small detail went by the wayside. I recommend this restaurant to the folks out there like me... My first visit to Amici was with a group of 4 adults and 2 children for a birthday dinner. Given the generally good reviews for this restaurant, I had high expectations. Unfortunately they weren't realized. While others liked their dishes more than I did, everyone said the preparations were very heavy. I had the roasted beet salad with utterly tasteless goat cheese and an uninspired dressing. My main course of spaghetti with porcini was made with good quality ingredients, but again the preparation was heavy handed and lacked seasoning. I returned a few days later with a friend, who wanted to meet there for lunch. This time the Amici salad was quite good but not my main course. I'm not sure if the eggs were bad or the omelette cooked in poor quality oil, but my omelette was terrible as were the French fries that were included with that dish. As there are several much better Italian restaurants in the area, I see no reason to return to Amici. read more

I am not one to write reviews. I wasn't even too upset about the hair in my lobster ravioli or the cold pasta I was served, which I sent back, only to have it brought back again at the same cool temperature. As a matter of fact, I wasn't going to write a bad review at all.....until the owner came to the table and was as rude as he could possibly be. And to be perfectly clear, even with the tasteless dish that I ordered, I wouldn't have complained, as that was my selection. I simply thought, not the best I've ever tasted. It was the way I was meant to feel like I did something wrong that lead me to write this review. Going out to eat is something I do often because I enjoy it. Needless to say, I will not return to or recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. Even the bread was not good, which is so unusual at an Italian restaurant. What a shame. Truthfully, I wanted to like this place in their new location. The location is really nice inside and out. However, it doesn't seem like the restaurant has it together yet to handle the volume they are going to get on busy weekend nights while the weather is still good to have indoor and outdoor tables. The waitstaff was really disengaged and seemed like they didn't want to be working- They didn't come to our table to open wine until asked (at least twenty minutes went by) and didn't take our appetizer orders until 15 minutes later, despite stating they would be right back. They didn't check in basically at all to see if we needed anything really at any point. The food was just so so - I had a shrimp and pasta dish and it lacked flavor. To me, it just seems like they aren't used to the volume of tables and this made for disorganization in terms of service and food quality. I will maybe consider trying again in a few months once they have adjusted. read more

Very disappointed. Arrived Sat night after making 7pm reservations for a party of 9. When we checked in at 7p the hostess advised that it wouldn't be long until we were seated. At 745pm I went and asked the status and how much longer it would be at which time the hostess told me "I don't know, I can't tell you how long it will be". I asked if she could give me an idea, 15 min, an hour, and she replied "I have no idea." Like I said I'm very disappointed with the service I received and the run around I was given. We have eaten here before and always had a good meal. Last evening the veal Parmesan might have been cardboard with one slice of cheese on top, and everything was totally over-sauced.
