this was our second visit to this rustic Italian establishment and were highly pleased yet again. Tonight's meal was couple's night where we shared the bruschetta and the antipasto caprese board starters which were ESSENTIAL to get the flavors flowing early -- so divine. All three men ordered the classic vodka rigatoni and were pleasantly plump. I ordered the penne tartufo with herb marinated crispy prosciutto, peas, cremini mushrooms tossed in a rich truffle creme sauce... exceeded beyond expectations to the point where all guests had to have a taste. It is BYO but they do offer a local wine selection. The ambiance is so rustic and authentic like you're dining right in nonna's cucina. Needless to say this is a must try and worth the drive

It had been a while since I had dinner at Villa Barone, but I remember that they never disappointed. I was walking in Collingswood recently and wanted to pick up a pizza for a casual family dinner. My order for a Margherita pizza was taken by a friendly employee at the counter and I was told it would be 15 minutes. The restaurant smells amazing and there are a few seats if I chose to wait. I went outside to walk a little and came back to my waiting pizza. For less than $25 (including optional tip), I brought home a delicious, perfectly cooked quality pizza. My family was as impressed as I was.

BYOB intimate restaurant. Food and service are great! The Christmas carolers singing beautifully outside of the restaurant made it the perfect festive holiday evening.

Service was wonderful and organized. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Reservations were easy to make. It is BYOB. Complimentary rolls were warm. It comes with an olive oil dip and we asked for butter. All our food came out piping hot and fresh! The fried calamari texture was perfect - a light crisp and tender; not too chewy. I really enjoyed my penne tartufo. The pasta had so many depths of flavor from the truffle cream sauce to the smoked prosciutto and mushrooms. My friend had a short rib pasta and I really enjoyed the flavor of the wine sauce that it was made with.

Never disappoints!!!!! Delicious every time! They are very accommodating and welcoming whenever we go. My little grandson loves the calamari! It was bumping and festive! Great vibe!

The service from the waitress was awful only saw her to take the orders .. Had to get the bus boy to get her so we could have some bread n our wine opened ! As for the food it arrived mildly warm n was more like microwave Italian dishes So disappointed Will not go back Also we asked to sit up on the higher level because it was extremely noisy not a good date place

Came here with family for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The service was great, we had a large party too. I got the half and half soup and the linguine positano but I subbed in rose cream sauce. The warm fresh bread was also a nice touch.

I've been here before and I love this place. Food is always fresh, we also had Caesar salad, bruschetta bread and bread, not pictured. Workers are always friendly, I like that it's a BYOB,

Good service, good food, loved the appetizer sampler barone style! Quiet even when packed with folks. Next time we'll get the pizza amongst other things!

There's no shortage of Italian restaurants in the Collingwood area in Villa Barone is one of the good ones. We arrived for a late night dinner, and were immediately seated and taken care of. They stored you with complementary rolls and olive oil dip. All meals were prepared, fresh and arrived hot. Each member of our party seemed very satisfied with their choice. There are several off menu specials, as well as a large selection of your typical Italian dishes. It's a BYOB so bring your own bottle. Would recommend a friend.

Small, quaint, authentic, family, quiet-ish, intimate, outstanding, I could probably keep going but let me get to the food. Not a ton of seating so I would highly recommend a reservation. We started with a bottle of wine that we brought (BYOB), a basket of bread, and the Burrata salad app. They were prefect. I followed with the Caesar Salad and asked to add anchovies. The salad was amazing, dressing was creamy, egg based, and delicious. Omg, I'm still thinking about it. For entrees my wife had the Cheese Wheel, served table side, not just a fun novelty, it was excellent. I have never in 14 years seen her eat that much pasta and that fast. Our guests also ordered it as an app and raved about it. I had the pork chop entree, fantastic! The demi glace sauce with caramelized onions and panchetta, sweet carrots, creamy potatoes... so good. Our guests had seafood dishes that they said were so good as well. Dessert was delicious coffee and cappuccino with the ice box cake (yum) and an excellent Lemon cream cake (all made fresh daily). The service was top notch, all family, all friendly, all attentive. Prefect 40th birthday dinner for the wife. We will certainly be back. Check them out.

The rice while cooked properly was bland lacking correct seasoning. The stuffed pork chop special was to be stuffed with prosciutto and a provolone or mozz cheese. No prosciutto inside and the pork chop which was a rib about an inch thick sliced horizontally for stuffing was over cooked and tough. Sauce was excellent however. Also at 39.00, the price way over priced for an 8 oz rib pork chop, that wasnt prepared properly to boot. Should have been 25/30 dollars for this type of dish - did not deserve a "special price". No one came by after entrees were placed to ask how the entrees were. TBH honest I should have sent my dish back as it was barely edible due toughness - should have been cooked medium with pink inside. Desserts were excellent cappuccino great as well. Disappointed in the entrees. Have been coming here for years for dinner and special occasions.

The bartender made really great drinks so we were very pleased while waiting for our table. Once seated we were provided with water almost immediately and our server arrived shortly after. We put in our drink and appetizer order and then the amazing bread with peppers arrived (complimentary) and we were like two kids in a candy shop. I don't know what they do to those peppers but they're delicious ... and pair perfectly with what I call their pizza bread. Appetizer and drinks were superb and after putting in our entree orders they were placed in front of us in under 20 minutes - fresh, hot and delicious! The food was very good. The chicken francaise was awesome, perfectly fried and seasoned, as were the meatballs. Very impressive hummus trio though! The hummus flavors were all very well thought out and felt like they were actually made to match the Italian style, rather than slapped on the menu. Honestly some of the best we have had outside of Lebanese restaurants. I was very skeptical it could match, but G bar beat the local hype and is now on our top list
