One of my favorite restaurants of all time! Fresh bread, and delicious entrees!! We catered for Easter, so these are not the best depictions of the food but I'm telling you, everything was scrumptious!!! Normally, when I dine here I love the salmon vodka pasta! You really can't go wrong with anything you order! Restaurant is cute itself but not as fancy as I would've thought

The food was so delicious! We got eggplant rollatini and calamari for appetizers. For dinner, we got penne vodka and chicken parm! Chicken parm was thin and perfectly cooked. The vodka sauce was creamy and not too heavy. Our server was so kind and the service was very quick even though it was packed. Perfect valentines dinner!

We just recently had a wonderful luncheon at Amici's! Both the ravioli and gnocchi were delightful appetizers - large portions, the sauce was well seasoned, and the cheese was great. While all of the desserts were , the chocolate gelato takes the cake! It was creamy, smooth, and richly flavored. The service was both fast and friendly, and the whole atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. Overall all of our friends who'd dined at Amici's before said they weren't surprised that this meal was just as great (if not better) than their previous experiences! Certainly recommend for a great Italian meal!

The food was excellent. We had seafood salad and beet salad as appetizers then the Dover sole special and linguine vongoles for entrees. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Better than Lambertis! We didn't have room for dessert, but we'll be back. Love the classy yet warm atmosphere and friendly service.

Free valet parking arrive on time to your reservation didn't have to wait long got seated within 5 mins it was crowded(isn't a bad thing being valentine's day) but we had a corner seat and wasn't bad at all the waiter got us water in the first minute being there and then asked us what we would like to drink then they brought us bread and took our order explained the menu in detail was very patient. the was really good bread came out hot it was just made mins ago then not long after probably about 5 mins the Cheese Arancini came out it was really good lot a flavor didn't taste like fried oil you can taste the different cheeses and seasoning paired well with the sauce came out fast and perfect temperature to eat like it more than i thought i was going to my gf picked the appetizer then shortly after the diner came out not long after the Arancini i got a medium rare ny strip steak it was cooked perfectly for me and had a garlic herb butter mix on top was perfect the sauce it came with was great i liked it a lot along with the sides the mashed potatoes were definitely homemade and fresh even better with the stake sauce and the vegetables were good too the sides just come with it you don't pick them at least for valentine's day. The penne vodka was super rich flavorful u can taste all the ingredients garlic, prosciutto, cheese she really liked her meal as did i the. we got dessert Lemon sorbet and a cheese cake to go the lemon sorbet was really good it was strong wasn't bland the cheesecake tho was top tier super rich flavorful we had plenty to eat even had boxes of food to take home the waiter came to the table multiple times to take dishes out the way fill water ask how we were doing as did the manager who took care of us as well the customer service was 10/10 couldn't get much better. Wasn't expensive at all spent under 160 for 2 people including a the tip not bad at all with how expensive everything is today i'd say below what i thought it would cost me. the food was really good i was definitely happy with it id give it a 8.9/10. the atmosphere was great old school Italian restaurant was decorated nice for valentine's day wasn't to loud in there for as crowed as it was some tables were kind close together but that was an issue for us where we were either way it would of be fine for us the lighting at the table was good to we had plenty of room we got our food really fast and probably only were there for about an hour and 20 mins. We came in later as well around 8:15 and they still had all options on the menu even at the end of the day the atmosphere id would rated a 9/10. Overall i'd would give this place a 9.3/10 i really enjoyed my experience would definitely recommend and come back for sure!

This is my husbands and mine go to place especially for special occasions. We love dining on the porch. Everything is so fresh and the atmosphere is amazing! The portions are pretty big so we always end up taking some of it home. The staff is very friendly and are on top of everything making sure we have water at all times and that everything is to our liking. The French onion soup for starters is our favorite. I absolutely love the little neck clams as well. My husband loves the Lobster Ravioli. Not sure what more I can say. We love Amici's! We highly recommend it! You won't be disappointed!

We had my daughter's baby shower there yesterday and I am still smiling ear to ear on how amazing everything went. Halle was a delight to deal with since moment one. The staff and food were outstanding!! We had the main room and it was perfect. Not sure who ordered the light beautiful snow during the event but it was so pretty to see. Pricing was amazing as well.

From start to finish - this was a spectacular experience! Eating in a dining room of a house, this meal was magnificent! BYOB - we brought wine & Amici's provided a wine chiller. There is also an outdoor patio which is gorgeous! In the cooler months, there is a protected area of the patio with heat lamps. This place is ON POINT! We started with one of the appetizer specials. The tuna tartar & avocado salad. It was absolutely delicious. Fresh, light and served with lettuce cups and garlic bread - it was so so so good. Highly recommend. There is a pre-fix menu offered - you can choose an app, a dinner & a dessert for $48. I decided to do this & it was a LOT of food. There are quite a few choices to choose from on the pre-fix menu. To start, I opted for the Eggplant Rollatini. PERFECTION! Honestly, this was one of the best eggplant rollatini's I've had. It was baked flawlessly. For my dinner entree, I ordered the homemade pasta & sauce - Pallardelle Bolognese. This restaurant makes homemade pasta! Not all of their pasta is homemade, but their ravioli is made in house and so is the Pallardelle. The Bolognese is also homemade family recipe & that is why I chose the pasta meal. It did NOT disappoint. Pasta was cooked a la dente (SUPERUB) and the sauce was so delicious - pure comfort food. The meal was so big, I packed up my leftovers (and the leftovers were just as delicious - warmed the pasta up in a pan with a little water & steamed the dish. It tasted like it did when it was brought to the table). My sister chose the Chicken Amici (chicken topped with crab, shrimp with a wine lemon sauce). That meal was also sublime! The plate was colorful, with vegetables and potatoes. Chicken was tender, sauce was so light and NOT salty (which we appreciated). She also had leftovers & the leftovers (Chicken & veggies) were super tasty warmed up for lunch the next day. My birthday boy had chicken fingers & fries. For a kid who wasn't hungry when we ordered, so he said, he ate up his entire meal. 4 big chicken fingers - southern style fried - he clearly enjoyed them. We hardly saved room for dessert -but you bet we ordered it anyway! The birthday boy ordered Chocolate Gelato which was so chocolatey - he loved it. It tasted like fudge - it was so rich & the boys favorite! Amici's is kind to bring a slice of tiramisu with a birthday candle ready to be wished upon! Such a sweet touch to the meal. The staff sang happy birthday & the restuarant cheered! There is a choice of 3 desserts on the pre-fix menu and I decided for the tiramisu. light, delicate and delectable. We also ordered the creme Brule. The creme Brule was delicious and actually made perfectly. I keep saying that, the food is perfect - but the preparation and presentation of the food was ON POINT throughout the entire meal. The food was cooked / baked perfectly. I haven't had a meal like this, perfect from start to finish, in a very long time. Amici's did NOT let us down. It is extremely hard to find an eatery that does not have a TV blaring in your face, news or sports, and we get enough of the tv at home. We make it a point to find eateries without televisions so that we can truly enjoy a meal without the stress of the outside world. I promise, you will find that reserve here. Allow your senses to be heightened when you visit Amici's. Yes, we recommend. Yes, we are real customers who really did masticate at Amici's and we would do it again and again. We recommend you masticate at Amici's too.

Beautiful intimate lunch spot! We enjoyed our salads and the fresh hot bread offering, complete with seasoned oil. We absolutely loved the seafood salad, one of the best appetizers!Absolutely delicious flavors lingered in my mouth, as it was so fresh & very well seasoned. Our entrees, Pappardelle Amici & Chicken Piccata were OUTSTANDING!! The flavors of the individual components are so distinct and clean. We topped off our meal with the tiramisu cake... Get it!!! Gio, Donnell & another young man gave us friendly good service. Thank you all for a fantastic experience! Hats off to the very talented chef!

Pleasant environment for dining, nice interior. This is a byob, so focus is on the food. Food was good, but does not hold up to an Il Fiore or Bistro di Marino in Collingswood. One of the hot apps was served cold, never came back to ask how they were, had to flagged them down. My fish was fair. Saltimbocca was not traditional, perhaps the menu stated this and we missed it. One thing I did not like was a surprise 3% charge for using my credit card. Watch out folks! Needless to say, I will not be back with so many selections local.

The four of us sat at the bar where Dawn (and her counterpart) took phenomenal care of us. It also seemed as if there were numerous regulars at the bar, all of whom were friendly and talkative, which added to the overall experience. We started off with drinks; Stoli Elit Martini, Hendrick's Martini, Blueberry Lemon Drop, and a glass of wine. The Blueberry Lemon Drop was really good especially if you enjoy sweeter drinks. I ended up switching to some kind of Maple(?) Fig Bourbon which was fantastic as well. The fried peppers they serve with the complmentary bread were out of this world. They actually convinced me to buy peppers at the store the next day so I could fry them myself. Prior to ordering dinner, we started with Caesar salads, which were dressed perfectly. We decided to split Crab Cakes for dinner which are served with green beans and mashed potatoes (as all of their entrees are). Let me tell you, these Crab Cakes were up there with the best I've ever had. They were big, packed with lump crab, and had a fantastic outer crust. We just got back from the Delaware/Maryland border and these were better than all of the crab cakes we had there. PSA: Make sure to get one, if not both, of Steak 38's table-side experiences. She had asked to go a few times, so we finally decided to take her on a Friday evening. I started with a Hugo spritz, my husband got the In-Fashion ( their take on an old fashioned) and my mom just got an unsweetened tea. There was an appetizer special - fried lobster tails with a lemon butter sauce - so we agreed it was a must try. While waiting for our appetizer to arrive we sampled the bread service which was a mix of warm cheesy bread, rolls, a flatbread cracker, and a pumpernickel with nuts and raisins. The bread was addictive, especially the cheesy bread, but we had to save room. The lobster was four small battered and fried tails with a side of lemon butter sauce. They were succulent and tender and so delicious. I could have eaten that as my entree, but you know we had to get steak. My mom got the surf and turf and my husband and I both got the Snake River Farms wagyu filet mignon. I got a side of Courvoisier cream with mine. We also did the au gratin potatoes, creamed corn with bacon, and Brussels sprouts. While I have had wagyu before, this was much more lean than I am used to. That didn't stop me from eating almost every bite. It came with a fondant style potato with onion jam, which was unexpected. The sides were all fantastic companions to our steak. We had to get dessert too because life is short, so we did the coconut cream pie and the flourless chocolate espresso cake. The coconut cream pie is a MUST when visiting capital grille. It's light and airy, the crust is buttery, and the presentation is beautiful. The chocolate cake is rich but not super sweet, with a bittersweet chocolate flavor balancing the espresso. Both desserts were great but I'm partial to the coconut cream pie, and I don't normally even like coconut cream pie much. There's is just THAT good. Service was perfectly paced and attentive. Valet parking is a plus. If you are looking for a more of an upscale spot, add this to your list.

My wife again chose The Chop House for her birthday dinner celebration and for great reason! We came on her birthday, a Tuesday evening, for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. The gentleman working valet was very respectful and professional and while I can take or leave valet in most cases, he definitely added to the upscale experience of the entire night. Upon seating ourselves at a high-top, both bartenders on shift greeted us with huge smiles and very warm hello's. They are familiar faces to my wife's family and were genuinely happy to see us. Unfortunately, we learned my wife's family's favorite server, Debbie, recently retired but great for her! The bartenders were fabulous themselves. Service, personability, mixology skills were all top-notch. They fit the sophisticated vibe of the restaurant perfectly. We started with drinks of course! A Stoli Elit Martini with a twist, a Dirty Martini, an Apple Butter Old Fashioned, and a Tito's and Club. The drinks came out beautifully. Smooth, chilled. I ordered the Apple Butter Old Fashioned as I was intrigued, but skeptical. While I thought it was good, I'd prefer a regular or Smoked Old Fashioned to the Apple Butter. My wife loved it though. We ordered lots of food to split and each appetizer we picked was as good if not better than the next. The Tuna Nachos fresh and had a tropical, savory flavor with pineapple mixed in. The Kona Tips were tender, full of flavor coming from the Kona crust and sautéed mushrooms/onions, and were served in a skillet full of sauce perfect for soaking up with bread. I actually liked the Kona Tips appetizer more than I liked the Kona Crust I got on my NY Strip I ordered last year (the Strip was great I'd just prefer no Kona crust on the entree). The Flatbread De Jour was a Kona Tip flatbread, which you may call us crazy for ordering two Kona Tip inspired appetizers, but the Kona Tips are just that good. The Oysters we had were small (just how I like them) and were up there with the best Oysters I've had. We finished up with Fried Calamari. They were lightly battered, fried nicely, tender, and served over a bed of different hot peppers (when I say hot, I mean it!). Everything was delicious and there wasn't one appetizer we chose that I wouldn't order again or recommend to others. We did order a few more drinks throughout the night -- another Elit Martini and a Hendrix Martini with the appetizers and then Bailey's on the rocks and Frangelico on the rocks as after dinner, dessert drinks. We ordered a Brownie Sundae for the table for my wife's birthday while she was excused from the table and the bartender brought it out with a lit candle. The bartender also brought out a complementary miniature Crème Brûlée for my wife as she acknowledged The Chop House's Crème Brûlée as one of her favorites earlier in the night when we were talking about the menu. I thought the entire night went as good as you could have hoped. Valet, bar service, food, drinks, desserts, atmosphere. Everything was amazing and most importantly my wife had a great birthday. It consisted of 4 cuts of steaks and my favorites were the filet and ribeye. They were seasoned perfectly and grilled medium rare. Our sides were mashed potatoes, CH hash browns, and grilled asparagus. The weakest link was the asparagus which were small in size but still tasty. I will definitely be back based on service, food and value. This is a perfect restaurant for celebrations, dates and casual dining. Definitely a gem of a restaurant. Will be back sooner than later.

We also got the Parmesan truffle fries and Brussel sprouts to share and both were out of this world as well. For dessert we shared the chocolate cake which was HUGE very good and moist. When we were leaving there was a band playing in the bar area and people dancing. Looks like it's a nice hang out on the weekends. We will be back again and hope to stay for some music as well! 10/10!!!

This deserves 3.5 not 3 stars! My parents had always raved…read moreabout this restaurant, so we finally dined here together. Unfortunately, they both said it wasn't the same as they remembered. The restaurant is beautiful and would be perfect for a date night or special occasion. Our waitress was friendly and honest, even mentioning that the chef had changed and some dishes weren't as good as before. We started with the crispy calamari, which was overly fried and lacked flavor. I also ordered the clam chowder and burrata caprese. The chowder was extremely salty and I couldn't finish it, while the burrata had great flavors but the dough was underbaked and too soft to even hold. My parents ordered the baby back ribs and steak frites, and both were disappointed as well. Overall, the atmosphere and service were excellent, but the food fell short. Maybe it was just an off day, but unfortunately it didn't live up to the glowing reviews my parents had shared.

The first time I went into kitchen 519 was so long ago. I've gone back since then many times and…read moremust say that the food has really upgraded. Out of all of my visits, my favorite is the weekend brunch menu. There are so many yummy things to choose from like the breakfast burrito, the banana Forester French toast, the various of Benedict's including crab, and there were a bunch of various breakfast sandwiches, but the most menu appealing one that I liked is the pork roll. On my last trip I wound getting a chicken brie apples bacon on brioche bread. It was a special of the day. From the moment I bid into it, I knew I would love it for the savoriness, the crisp and sweet tasting bread. There was a side of potatoes... Very nicely seasoned and the perfect crunch to them. On my last visit, it was a total of 10 people in our group and the customer service was great. We were all able to pay with separate checks... Always a perk. The waiter was super super friendly and kept our coffee refills going. Inside it is busy which could lead away from the quiet ambience, but I didn't mind it at all.

Wow, this the dining highlight from my recent visit! I was staying in a West Deptford hotel and…read morethis is not that far away. What a neighborhood gem from service to execution. Former home vibe, i was one of the earliest weekday diners. Since it a solo dinner, I opted for a few sides: Kimchi rice Cucumber salad Brussel sprouts (no meat or butter) The cucumber salad was so good, I ordered a second portion!! The tofu burnt ends and bbq jack fruit sounded so intriguing that I almost begged the kind server to ask the chef if they could serve a side portion. Otherwise the bbq is served in pound increments. For my lucky tummy, they obliged and wow those are both delicious vegan options! Maybe next time, i will visit here earlier during my trip to be able to take home leftovers. Booth was cozy and love that water bottle to refill my glass is on my table which sounds weird but I drink alot of water! Small place , would recommend reservations for weekend dining. Parking lot was limited too. Enjoy!
