Our quest started in June when we wanted to turn our plain backyard which only has grass into a oasis with colour and privacy. We reach out to a company located in Georgetown to request some information but had to leave a message. After a few days we received a call back and were put on the schedule for the following week for someone to come out and provide us a quote. After the representative came out, he said we would receive a quote within a few days. Well two weeks passed and nothing. Then out of the blue we received a bcc email stating the company was extremely busy and it would take another two weeks to receive our quote. Mind you we are now going on a month since I contacted this company and we still don't even know what they would charge. Frustrated with the delay, we decided to look for another company. As the days passed, I noticed on my drive to work a truck from Texas Landscape Creations in different areas almost daily. Intrigued, I looked them up on the internet and they were highly spoken of so we reached out to schedule an appointment. The first thing that impressed us was our call was answered right away and were able to be scheduled within a few days. Next, Garrett came over and started assessing our situation. He first asked what we were looking for and if we had anything specific in mind. We mentioned our only criteria was to have more privacy from our neighbours as well as to add colour to our backyard (all we had was grass). Well Garrett went to work. As he is walking around, he is taking notes and sketching on a pad. He then turns to us and starts pointing in the corresponding direction, stating he recommends Crape Myrtle trees in these corners, Texas sage over here, Sunshine Ligustrums over there, Obsession Nandinas in that area, etc. As he is talking, Garrett is describing the different types of foliages to us but since we are visual people, I start looking up these plants and trees up on the internet. To our amazement, Garrett was spot on with what we had in mind. After spending about 30 minutes with us, Garrett mentioned he would get back in us in a few days with a quote. And just like clockwork, we received an email from him with the details.
