Quick pick-up service, decent prices, and decent selection. I wasn't impressed though. I've been to many many Chinese takeout places and they always make a spicy dish at least a little more spicy when you order extra spicy. They also always have chili oil on request. This place doesn't have chili oil which baffles me, since the server/cashier was Chinese. I ordered the "hot and spicy dish" for lunch and it wasn't spicy at all, even after asking for extra spicy. Not sure I'll come back. I guess I will stick to paying a few extra bucks for LingLongXuan next time! Very good Halal حلال Chinese food . Ordered the food at a window on the side of the kitchen. I don't think it is a sit down restaurant. As the door to what looked like a sit down place was locked. Cash only. And was told to use uber eats if I wanted to use credit card. Which I don't understand how I could as I was standing at the window. Service was fast. And food was cooked to perfection . I had to the shrimp lo mein, and it was horrible. The noodles were mushy and uncooked. Also, I want to add the sauce didn't fully come together apart from the noodles. I have to say, as an avid eater and admirer of Chinese cuisine and being a Muslim, my choices of enjoying a great Chinese meal plus being halal were pretty much non existent. My wife's sister told us about this place and we decided to check out the place. We were sceptical about the placed at first because it's not everyday you come across a halal Chinese place. So we decided to give it a try. I must say that I was positively floored with the flavorful taste, generous portions, variety of dishes and obviously the prices. This should definitely be on the list of people who wish to enjoy delicious Chinese food while keeping an eye on their tab. I was going to request Orange Chicken but didnt want to be picky and went with Sesame Chicken and Fried Rice. Great Choice once again Jeff, you did it again! Definitely enjoyed it. I remember in the best days of Amins, their Chinese food was tastier (and they used to deliver!). I think that is why Amins gained a reputation in Jersey City as a great place for Muslims to eat Halal Chinese food. Most halal places are Indian/Middle Eastern so this is a nice change for a typical Muslim family. I still go here regularly because I don't have many options for Halal Chinese food. I admit this place had better days when it delivered, but trust me living in Houston, and other parts of the city, this is easily the best Chinese place I went to, I loved the dishes like Black Pepper Chicken, and the fried chicken. The only place comparable is in the Houston suburb of Sugarland. I do have to deduct points because the service isn't the best, they stopped doing delivery and still don't accept credit cards which is surprising for restaurants. Parking is a hassle here and in the general location here, usually if I drive here, I park up the square near the Journal Sqaure path for $12 dollars then spend the rest of my time in JC by catching the 10 bus or NYC via Path to MTA.
