I'm usually not someone who leaves bad reviews because I understand people's businesses matter, but I left this appointment really disappointed. I came in asking for honey blonde highlights and even showed a reference picture. I specifically explained that if the exact color wasn't possible, I still wanted a noticeable blonde look, preferably on the golden side. Instead, I ended up with extremely thin highlights that are barely visible and nothing close to what I asked for. What upset me even more was the haircut. I clearly said multiple times that I only wanted my ends trimmed and cleaned up not a haircut. My hair was nearly waist length when straightened , and she cut it to bra length with layers that I never asked for. When I expressed that I felt too much was cut off, my concerns were brushed aside and I was repeatedly told "it's cute" and that I'd like it. I'm disappointed because I felt unheard throughout the entire appointment. Ami is amazing! I went in for a color correction, she went above and beyond to save my hair. She did a balayage, foils, toner and topped it off with an amazing cut with layers and a blow out! So great. The salon is clean, and everyone is so nice. She uses top the line products as well. She cuts hair better than anyone else in the area! read more

I came here for the first time and it will also be my last time. When I walked in, the lady working (who I assume is the owner), was coloring someone's hair and told me she will be with me after she completes coloring the other clients hair. I waited, and when she was ready for me, I told her I like to keep my eyebrows thick. She not only made my eyebrows way thinner than I have ever gotten them, but she accidentally threaded off too much of a chunk of my left eyebrow, so now my eyebrows look completely different from each other and my left eyebrow looks like it has a huge bald spot in it. She was also so aggressive, I have cuts all over my eyebrows. After she was done, she literally just said "done" and walked away. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 20 years now. When the threading is complete, you are supposed to be handed a tissue to wipe off the hairs that fell on your face, and the beautician will normally hold a mirror to your face and make sure you are happy. This lady literally just walked away, no tissue, nothing. I showed her how she butchered my eyebrows, and she said she can fix it by threading more of my right eyebrow to match the botched left eyebrow! I told her absolutely not and that will only make my eyebrows even thinner and worse. All she said was "sorry, but if you comb your eyebrow done, you can't tell". I will NEVER return to this place. The unprofessionalism and horrible service I received is something I have never experienced in my 20+ years of getting my eyebrows threaded, which is normally an easy thing to do, except for this lady. There are so many other amazing salons in the area who will actually do a great job, stay away from this salon if you want nice eyebrows read more

Very clean and professional. AMI, the owner, was very welcoming as always. When we walked in, the salon was much emptier than usual. They even had someone wait outside to ensure everyones safety. Before going to the back I had to get my temperature taken with a non-oral thermometer and was offered some hand sanitizer. They also are not doing the threading by mouth anymore. Ami also made sure to wipe down the seats after we got off of them to leave. The safety measures here are being taken very seriously. Support small business with amazing service!! read more

The establishment is beautiful and gives you an overwhelming sense of comfort. I've recently tried for the first time the hydrofacial with radio frequency treatment. Great salon and great prices. It's clean which is also very important to me. They have improved a lot over time and I was very happy with my eyebrow, upper lip and lower lip threading. The specialist who did my threading was quick, clean and professional. I am happy with my shape and threading. She asked me how I like my brows before threading and I wanted them clean and still thick. That's what I got! I tend to have a little readiness after threading due to my sensitive skin but apart from that, there was no other issue. Only costs $8 plus a tip. I forgot the name of the lady who did my eyebrows but she works on Saturday afternoons. I plan to go again and get my brows done by her again. read more

Ami is great! I went for hair color and she really listened to my needs and made me look fabulous. My highlights had become brassy and she re-touched them to give them a rich, deep colored hue. She was meticulous and took a lot of care to ensure she doesn't ruin my highlights. She also touched up the grey in my roots and overall I looked 10 years younger walking out of there! I went to Ami's salon today and the very first thing they did was take my temperature & then only let me in. Had my brazilian done by Ami today & well I cannot deny that it was super smooth and not painful at all. I don't know what magic she does lol but my experience was great. I highly recommend Ami's Salon!!! I have a very sensitive acne prone skin and I am always reluctant to try new products or get any facials or any other treatment for my face! However that changed after I got my facial treatment at Ami's!! Ami was very helpful in recommending facial that suited my skin and not only that she recommended for me to get a "Glycolic Acid" treatment that she has recently started as one of her services...and I am very happy with the results!! Not the place for hair treatment, specially color. The person who does it for them had a tough time understanding what I want. She kept pushing her opinion and arguing without finding out what I wanted. She wouldn't even let me complete my sentence!! In my years of hair coloring experience, this has by far has been the worst. The other staff seems friendly.
