With that said Maria was really nice & was able to give me exactly what I asked for. I have longer hair with layers and not everybody cuts it right. Also with my color too, I've seen people offer a shade that's too dark thinking my hair is the lightest black instead of the darkest brown. She knew right away what color I needed when I told her to match the ends. I was very happy with the service, it was a friendly clean environment, and yes I had to pay $10 extra because my hair naturally sits right above my elbows. Nonetheless I got exactly what I paid for and tipped based on the price before the discount, and if I were to call any other salon to ask for the same thing I would have easily dropped over a $100 + extra for longer hair.

He will work with you to transition to a totally different look and know when to say something will not work for you. I've referred friends to him who are just as satisfied as I am and are also referring to Dan. That, I believe is a great testimonial in itself. When you are with Dan, he is focused on you and not conducting business or socializing with other clients. You can count on a minimum of 1 hour for a cut (I have short hair). It's a small and social salon which adds to the experience. You do not have the buzz and chatter of the larger salons. I should mention, although I don't "do" color, I like the color I've seen on other clients. With Dan and Katie's (make-up) help, I was quite the Liza Minnelli for Halloween. Katie researched Liza's looks and did a great job. With the exception of the signature beauty mark....I wish I had the occasion to use her talents again. Dan accomplished the perfect Liza 'do' --spraying my grey hair black. Perfect. Their energy for Liza was catching... a fun memory with a dynamic team. My ONLY reason for the 4 vs 5 stars...is timeliness. Dan can run late. It's a small price to pay for a great cut in a very comfortable, relaxing environment. I have a very curly hair, I showed Laura a picture of my desired haircut, she decided to dry cut my hair then shampoo it. the haircut didn't look good. I asked if she can blow dry my hair so we can fix the cut, but she explained that she was busy and have other appointment. I was told to go home and call them back. I did the following day, I called to schedule a blow dry and fixing the cut, but they told me that they are booked for two weeks. terrible service.
