(Yes I was that customer no one wants to deal with) The manager did not give me attitude for coming in late took me in was so nice. Around 5, it seems they get quite busy with appointments, so be sure to book ahead. My nail tech (ugh, forgot to get her name) did a beautiful job on the shape of my acrylics. I have been going to Amity nails consistently for about 5 months now every 2 weeks for a gel manicure and have had an overall great experience. I usually am seen by Hailey whom I request and can say is AMAZING but the few times she has been unavailable I still have a good experience. The salon is clean and they have a great color selection with a couple of specialty pallets to choose from. I always make an appointment and have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to be seen after my appointment time which is fine of course as they are a very busy salon. I would definitely recommend Hailey as she is quick but also has a great eye for detail. The other technicians I have been seen by are also good but I will say Hailey is the best. I've been going here for a while and things are always hit and miss. It depends on the technician. Today was awful. First off I asked that my nails get filed down. I have long nails I like to keep them that way. She clipped them all the way down to my skin. After the damage was done on the first one I was stuck. They didn't have the powder color I wanted so I was told they'd find a match. The match has massive bits of glitter and was a huge mess. On roof of it she tried to even out the hideous glitter and ended up packing thick powder on some of my nails. My nails look like a toddler cut and polished them. I've gone three times. I've had SNS nails done each time and got a basic pedicure once. I've been thrilled with my nails each time. I've seen a different technician for each visit and have always left happy. You get a paraffin dip with the manicure. That is my favorite part!!! I love warmth. I came here in late December and was shocked at the number of people in the building. There's no way it was Covid compliant. Every seat was taken and the small waiting area was packed. Looking back, I should have walked out but I was being lazy and REALLY wanted my nails done before seeing my fiancé's parents. I assumed it would be great because the reviews were so good but my experience was just not. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure felt rushed and was very rough. I frequently get ingrown toenails and believe my pain tolerance to be pretty high, but for whatever reason, the pedicure was excruciatingly painful. Three of my toes were bleeding and the nail tech kept excessively digging and scraping, despite me asking her to stop at least three times. The exfoliating scrub left scratches all over my legs and I was again, left cringing the whole time. I assumed I was being a baby so I tried not to complain but it was sincerely a miserable experience. There were no warm towels available which is normally my favorite part of the experience. I gave one additional star because the manicure wasn't as bad and I'm trying to be as fair as possible. The manicure was fine and the paint lasted the normal two weeks. Won't be going back and I don't recommend. read more

Update: I usually have had decent experiences at this location and I don't feel like I have extremely high expectations. However, today I came for a simple manicure - I asked for a simple rounded square shape and my nails don't look anything like the picture I showed. I asked for a matte and they didn't have any matte top cot left (uh wtf?). Then my nails were different lengths and when I pointed this out she said she couldn't fix them because they were already painted - customer service? And when her coworkers AGREED they weren't even she then tried to tell me one nail bed was longer than the other - which is 1. Not true and 2. I have never heard this from anyone before. She proceeded to go back and for then just clipped the nails without shaping or buffing them. I will NOT be returning for these prices and this type of customer service- and of COURSE this was after I had already paid AND tipped. There is also nail polish left on my finger that I pointed out for to clean up which she did not. After just being annoyed and before my attitude got bad I just left most technicians here are good but I wish I would've got them name of this tech. Won't be returning OMg!!!! Finally found a nail shop That can do me some justice. They were so amazing and attention to detail was just out of this world she went to as far as to clean up under my nails everything just was perfect. I showed the color that I want to gel and she found the exact same color in dip powder also still be able to see the marble design that I was looking for. Tiffany is a gem! Many nail salons I've visited will file your nails until they're paper thin, and if they break they'll offer you acrylic instead of letting them breathe. At Mimi's, I was recommended to take a few weeks away from UV Gel, and offered nail treatments to apply during my break. I would recommend Amity to anyone and everyone. Very nice nail spa but can get very crowded and loud when it's busy (mostly due to some customers speaking loudly and kind of ruining the quiet, relaxing spa atmosphere.). The pedicure chairs are amazing though! Service is very good even if a bit rushed, but that's due to the spa being very busy on a Saturday afternoon. I bet it would be a much more relaxing and pleasant Mani/pedi session during off hours. Price is decent - went with a fancy Mani pedi but would probably just go with a regular one next time.
