I was looking for the perfect salon to celebrate my 40th Birthday with about 20 of my girlfriends and 21 Nail Lounge did not disappoint!! Organizing the party with Danny couldn't have been easier. He gave me a few ideas and tips and allowed me to bring snacks and drinks for my guests! The salon also offered refreshments and chocolate! Danny helped me stagger the appointments and was able to accommodate such a large party. He even had a cake for me when I arrived. WOW!!! His staff was super friendly and even helped cleaned up our mess after the party! The services were amazing. There were different pedicure packages to choose from, the plethora of nail polish collection was impeccable! The salon was super clean and did not have boring spa music playing: this place was hip! The prices were on the lower average end for the Arlington area so everything worked out in my favor !! I went for a basic spa gel pedicure and dip manicure and it lasted over a month! Everyone was happy with their services. We did not feel rushed and enjoyed the evening celebrating with one another's company. My husband walked in early and booked an appointment and prepaid for a gel mani and pedi on a slow Monday afternoon and I was supposed to be seen by Monika, but she was helping another client so another guy started working on my nails. I had acrylic and they were acting as if acrylic was foreign to them. The guy vigorously filed my nails down and cut them into a square shape because he said that they did not have time to keep my nails in the almond shape that they were in naturally. The entire time I felt so unwelcome because they were rushing telling me that they had other clients (even though I opted out of the pedicure) and they made it seem like I was a nuisance to be in their salon, and while they were nice enough, I just did not feel welcome. Finally, Monika was done with her client and started to work on my nails, which I had to then dip in acetone after being filed Rigorously by the prior guy. I proceeded to do my nails well enough I suppose I told them that I could not come in for the pedicure because I had already had one scheduled and my husband didn't know. Monika called me $52 and advised that she would have to speak to her manager to refund the remaining $48. A week goes by and there's still no refund on our account, but when we call again they acted like we were bothering them and inconveniencing them for asking for our money back for services that we never received. I got a French gel manicure that ended up costing $62 which is $10 more than I was quoted when I left. It would have been fine if they actually did a good job but It's been a week my nails are disgusting. By day 2 a majority of my nails were chipped and cracking bc they were filed too thin. The French tip cracked and I noticed pieces of hair underneath the gel bc of their lack of attention to dry. I think that they were overwhelmed and shouldn't have taken my appointment. I felt rushed and unwelcome and It was the least relaxing nail appointment I've ever had in the DMV and will not be returning. read more

This is my third visit to 21 Nail Lounge. I have enjoyed every visit. Since they reopened after the pandemic hit, I wanted to support a local neighborhood business. I have had three different people perform a pedicure on me, they have all been professional. Monica did my latest and she was wonderful. I'm really picky and I don't get my nails done often because I've never found the right salon/nail tech for me. I wanted to get my nails done for my birthday and I saw their pictures and wanted to give them a try. My nails look amazing, I've never been this pleased after getting them done! By far the best nail salon I have been to! As soon we walked in, we were welcomed with the warmest smiles! We were quickly shown to our chairs after choosing from a massive array of nail colors! I mean their collection is by far the most I've seen! The salon was kept very clean, I saw them cleaning all parts of the chairs very well which made me feel very comfortable. My technician was Michelle and she was very thorough, the most thorough I have had in so many years. I loved how the pedicure bowl had liners that they change after each client. Much more sanitary than most places! We were offered coffee, tea and other refreshments, they even gave us some delicious chocolates! Amazing service! I just moved to the area and I was looking for a nail salon and I came across this one. I got a dip powder full set with nail art, my son got his nails painted with nail art, my wife and I both got our eyebrows waxed and I also got mine tinted. Their service was absolutely phenomenal and I would recommend this place to anyone. They are very friendly, sweet, caring etc. the man who did my nails gave me many tips on how to keep my nails clean how to keep the matte and looking fresh. I have never once been to a salon that has done that. They were very sweet and social with my six-year-old son and to me that was a plus going there. The salon is beautiful and some of the workers seemed friendly. I expected better service for as much as I paid for a regular Gel mani/pedi. My polish was removed multiple times, and my entire nail wasn't even painted fully. The worker seemed rushed even though nobody was waiting. Im used to my Gel manicures being an hour, hour 30 tops. I spent 3 hours in this place and I just decided to leave because I was there for so long instead of getting it fixed. It's been a week and my nails are chipping and the polish came off completely on one of my toes. Its gorgeous and clean but the service sucked. I went back to get a gel color change after my initial gel manicure was a fail. Bebe was there and did a great job. But as soon as I arrived 3 of the techs (including the one that did my initial gel manicure a week before) came over to see my nails. They said something in their native language as I was sitting there. I was later informed they had read my initial Yelp review. So, the salon team was aware of their failure and yet didn't offer any time of credit or discount to fix my nails. When Bebe finished my gel color change, I headed to the register and paid $27. I tipped Bebe because she's one of the experienced techs and never fails to do a great job. I left this place disappointed because I assumed that as a frequent client, I would have received an "on the house" or even a discounted price for my color change- which I had to get because the initial manicure was horrible. I will no longer return to this establishment. You don't value your customers or even their feedback. read more

Great service! Went here on a Friday afternoon after making an appointment online about 45 minutes prior. It's a nice clean place. I arrived about ten minutes early, but after I picked the color I wanted I was seated right away. I got the stone massage pedicure and a classic manicure. What most impressed me was the complimentry glass of wine (or other drink like soda or water) and the hot neck pillow. Definitely a relaxing experience. Additionally they did my finger nails while I was sitting in the pedicure area so I wouldn't have to get up to go to a table. The only weird thing us that they only accept cash for tips. There's an ATM inside, but it would be a lot more convenient if I could just put it in my card. Not a huge deal though. Overall very relaxing experience. We had a 1:30pm appointment on a Saturday which I made by phone. My friend loved the idea of the online booking option. We first went to Bonchon for lunch and then walked over. The number of color choices was impressive. There were a lot of chairs and they easily accommodated our request to sit next to each other. They offered wine when we sat down and hooked us up with warm neck pillows. The massage chair was great. I got the lemon pedicure for $50. She took her time and was attentive. Overall I was extremely pleased. It was a nice day and they had the door propped open so there was no smell. Loved that!! You can charge but tips have to be in cash. read more

I wanted a swirl nail design for the longest and I am trying grow out my natural nails and mind you I also have a biting habit. The only way I stop is by getting gel nail polish. Today I got manicure and pedicure done but I was a little disappointed with the way I was not informed how much this swirl design on my natural nails would cost. It was never mentioned ahead of time, the lady who helped me out mentioned it at the very end while I was about to pay that this suppose to be considered as a FREESTYLE NAIL DESIGN & so it costs $88 just for the manicure and my lemon peel pedicure was $55 and altogether plus tax it came to $145 ..
