I will say, the people at the store were welcoming and helpful. Even the guy who came out to do the measuring to provide an estimate was nice. HOWEVER, the estimate took a good five days to get and that was after two last-minute phone calls from him (within five minutes of one another), each time asking about the same stuff we had already gone over. Needless to say, we became a bit leery. When we finally did get the estimate, there was NO clear dollar figure attached and for us it created more questions than answers. There was no mention of demolition of the kitchen tile in the estimate, so we just figured extra costs like that would begin to add up. NEXT! A neighbor said a friend had a good experience with Cornerstone Flooring, so we went over to their showroom in Los Alamitos. It's small, but it does the job. We spent about 30 minutes there, picked a flooring we liked and left. The owner Jim Dillon came out as scheduled on a Monday four days later, took literally just 15-20 minutes to measure and handed us a hand-written estimate on the spot. We were happily surprised at that and later that day he emailed us a typed-up copy. The following Monday, the team of Omar and Luis arrived and were very pleasant to interact with, did a great job and explained things if we had any questions. They demoed the old laminate flooring throughout the house and kitchen tile, which was clearly noted in the estimate. And yes, thankfully, they move big furniture, but you need to remove some items on top and inside, which is more than reasonable. Just for a space/time reference, we had roughly 1,100-square-feet of wood-look vinyl plank flooring and baseboard installed and it took 3.5 days...just as they said. I was hesitant to go with vinyl but found out two of our friends had done so recently and the installers said that about half the jobs they do these days are vinyl, so I felt better about our decision. It looks great and is easy to clean, which with pets is just what we needed. Just FYI: Jim took a 10 percent deposit when we agreed to the job, half when the materials were delivered and the other half when the job was completed, which all seemed very reasonable. He even took back an unopened/unused pack of baseboard and credited us back $224. Thanks Jim! I'm writing this review, so obviously we went with Cornerstone Flooring and are glad we did. Plus, we feel good knowing we helped a smaller, local business in our town and know that they will take care of any issues that come up, if there are any, which we don't anticipate.

I needed it removed right away and replaced with LVP flooring. Oscar gave me a very fair price and moved quickly. He removed the carpet himself and had the LVP flooring installed the very next day. We spent about 30K on the flooring after they up-charged us on concrete to level the floors because if we didn't then the warranty would not be in place. Within a year the flooring by my pantry started to come apart. We ignored it but after a while we found more flooring has come apart going into the living room and hallway. I finally called My Flooring Guy for help. They told me the warranty on their work only lasted a year. The 30 year warranty was by the manufacturer. However they would have someone call me to see if it was covered. No one called. I called again. This time they gave me an email address to send pictures of the problem. I did so but again no answer. These floors were supposed to last but apparently they don't and this company doesn't stand by their work. Do not go with this company or you will regret it. I will be having someone come out to try to fix my floors and will look into legal action if possible. So much money wasted. Thanks for nothing My Flooring Guy.
