I had a leaking drain pipe in my laundry room. I discovered exactly where the leak was coming from. I removed the plastic pipe that was leaking and found that the metal pipe that it was connected to had a lot of rust on the threads and they were mostly gone. I thought the worst figuring this would be a big job to replace the metal pipe. I found Guardian Plumbing on Yelp and I read nothing but praise for them. I called and spoke with the owner Tony. I told him my issue and sent him a picture. He gave me a best and worse case scenario and price. I was so happy to find out that even the worst case scenario wasn't going to be that expensive as I figured. Tony set up a time for James to come and fix the issue. James came over and right away looked at the pipe and said he'd be able to rethread it and install new drain pipe for the washer. The best case scenario happened. I have never met a plumber who was as nice, honest and helpful as Josh was. From the moment you meet him, you get a good vibe that is hard to explain and even harder to come by in a plumber. I originally had a clogged toilet and they gave me a rough quote over the phone. I know this was a preliminary estimate and was prepared to pay more. When Josh got here, he discovered that it was not just a toilet problem, but rather roots that got into the plumbing system. He spent quite a bit of time snaking it out and I got nervous because I knew the bill would rack up. When it came time to pay, it was the EXACT same price that was quoted over the phone. Guardian Plumbing has done several of the homes in my neighborhood. I had Tony install a tankless water heater in my home and a water softener. Tony is a fantastic plumber. Forget about the "smell good" thing, go with the real thing. A plumber who is fair priced and ethical (hard to find these days). Tony has a knack for not only finding what needs to be done, but also what you might want done. Case in point, while installing my tank-less water heater, Tony discovered I was a home brewer. He did an outstanding job with the install, but added a little extra. A gas hook up for when I complete my brew stand! One last thing, I deliver meals to shut in seniors. Often times I am asked for help, by the seniors, with little tasks that are huge to them. One of my deliveries was having a problem with the water service to her mobile home. I walked around the house and discovered that her water service pipe needed a new hose along with a new shut off valve.
