I must say I stopped by that was my childhood pizza store fresh at the oven. Nice service but a lot of think has changed since then it's not the same flavor the price definitely not worth it but has a good vibe that reminds me back in the days. Solid Kosher pizza. Boro Park is not a real foodie neighborhood, and grabbing a bite there can be tough if you are fussy on food, so this place is perfect. If you are into a lot of tomato sauce, probably not for you, as they do not seem to put a ton of tomato sauce on their pizza, but the dough, the cheese, the texture, the flavor, all perfect and authentic Brooklyn pizza. NOT too OILY at all which is great. It traveled very well, on multiple busses and did not leak a bit. I enjoyed the customer service too, friendly guys at the counter. Very close to the B11 bus. Definitely hit up if you are in the neighborhood. read more

I was in the neighborhood & hungry. I stopped in and got 2 slices and a can of soda. The pizza was a positive. It was hot, fresh and thick. It had a very good sauce to cheese ratio. Negatives: While they have a cooler with soda cans, none of them felt cold to the touch. Hell, none even felt cool to the touch. If you're going to have customers take cold drinks out of a cooler, the least you can do is keep the damn thing cold, especially on a hot summer day, especially when you're charging 10 bucks for those 2 slices and soda. read more

The spinach calzone was hefty and well-filled; cheese was a gooey delight and contrasted with the greenery. Square pizza was pretty good but some parts of the slice were lacking in cheese. The regular slice fresh from the oven had an excellent crisp on the bottom and held up well with folding. Been going to Amnon's for ages. I've never had the Sicilian, so I ordered a pie with extra cheese. It was absolutely delicious! Lots of cheese and really good sauce that didn't require a Nexium afterwards! My friend ordered by the slice, she had a slice with Eggplant and Extra cheese and then she also ate a Calzone with Spinach. I took a bite of the Calzone, and it was perfect! Mmm.. Delicious! Just ate there, and am taking the time to rate it instead of do work. Friendly, handsome boys behind the counter, quick service, and crazy busy. The mixed veggie calzone I got was (1) huge, (2) full of cheesy gooey goodness, and (3) my first calzone that will be making a repeat appearance in my belly. Whole wheat options, completely kosher, and just all around a nice place to get some food and sit and eat. Tons of room to sit too, so that's a major plus. Definitely going to be bad news since work is only 2 blocks away. read more

A Boro Park staple. You think pizza in BP, Amnon's is the place! Great pizza, falafel, desserts...., pizza rolls - YUM! This place has been around so long, because it's great. Come during the day - say "hi" to Amnon. Great guy. His sons, are there too. Leon will make you killer falafel at night. You can even buy Amnon's pizza in supermarkets now, but nothing like going in to the original spot. read more

Actually, I'm reviewing Amnon's frozen pizza, which is TERRIFIC! I found it in the kosher freezer at my local Manhattan Associated Supermarket (the new, highly underused, practically secret one on Amsterdam between 99th and 100th Streets). It tastes as good as it looks on the box: real, Brooklyn pizza like I remember enjoying as a kid, nice thin crust, totally cheesy and seriously, the most like great pizza place pizza I've ever had out of my own oven.
