It makes no sense to charge $55 for a pedicure and not clean my feet and the tools looked like they weren't sterilized I was scared and praying. Then Henry tried to pawn me off on someone else I'm like I was told to come to you how you gone give me to someone else.. smh The work this dude was almost enough to make you lay hands on him. He keep drilling on my cuticles I told him several times it hurt . I'm the fool for staying but I could be writing this from behind bars the way he was playing is sad. First, I will start off by saying when I was taken here I really enjoyed the place and I loved their work!!! I would travel from Beverly Hills to Compton (which is my home place where I grew up) to get my nails done. This particular evening which I had an appointment and waited over an hour patiently. I specifically told Mimi exactly what I wanted and showed her a photo. As I am sitting there waiting for my turn I started adding up the cost of my services. Then it came time for me to get my nails done Henry tried to charge me more money than what was posted on the wall while discussing my services! I specifically was asking for a manicure, pedicure with gel on both of my Mani a Pedi. French tip with clear polish only! The technician was not able to understand or comprehend of the services that I wanted. Doing what she wanted to do! Henry then became belligerent, rude, obnoxious, poor customer service, unprofessional, arrogant, disrespectful putting his hand in my face and do I need to say more! As one of the customers is talking to me she knew what I wanted to get done and said that the lady is putting pink on your fingers so I addressed it. As Henry and I are having a verbal confrontatioI informed him that all of us brown people are the ones who are supporting them to pay their bills, eat, pay for the roof over their heads etc. In this place of business that is all you see is us brown people when I say brown people I am saying Brown as a whole women of color. BROWN!!!! I will never come back here again he also told me to never come back here again but I also let him know that I'm not in the business of giving money away and you're not going to overcharge me and the services I asked for is what I plan on getting. If the lady is unable to speak English she needs to take an ESL class. That is not my fault! He should have addressed that to me therefore I would have spoken to him so he can translate to her or I would have used my translator that I have on consistently so I know what is being said and I would have used it with her to read it! People we have to stop patronizing places that do not respect us, do not like us and do not appreciate our monies that is taken care of them and their families! THEY ARE IN OUR COMMUNITY AND I SAID, THAT TO HENRY!!! They smile and front the like because they like your money not you! There are too many nail shops around town to go to that are just as good! You may have to hop around to find out who fits what you want but you will get there trust me I have and I've changed nail shops before when I don't get the services that I pay for! What regardless they want to still take your money even though you are not pleased! I asked for the manager and tried to speak with her. When I first came there she was very friendly because of my money of course and informed me she was the manager (I forgot her name but she drives the BMW SUV with short hair-jazzy) We pay for that!!!! HORRIBLE JOB . My first and my last time ever coming to this dump. The people don't even acknowledge you . They see you waiting around and just look at you. The pedicure was $40 plus gel & $8 eye brows and $2 service fee . the Pedicure was trash the gel came off when I got home smh and my eye brows the lady messed them up so bad I had to fix them myself. $50 bucks for a horrible experience never again read more
