Anyway, the facial place is inside the Phenix Salon Suites (similar to Sola Salon Studio) its like a maze inside but hers isn't had to find. The ambiance was nice and the bedding looked super soft....it actually was super soft and cozy. We briefly went over the first time customer questionnaire and service offerings~I ended up getting the deep cleansing facial for $100 but was ok adding on an aqua facial for $10 (she felt I didn't need it so talked me out of it). Her pricing was decent~no frills at all and she seems honest~not the type that upsells you. Facial started with some salicylic acid application and exfoliation stuff...facial massages...extractions which she does purely by hand (I was super impressed with how good she was) and some other random stuff. Had some random talks with her during the facial and discovered we both like food and we're similar in age...so it was another plus. I must've dozed off at some point bc when it ended I was NOT READY to leave that cozy bedding......at the very end, I got a cup of hot quince tea which tied everything nicely together. She was nice initially till she realized I had a Groupon. Her whole demeanor changed. When I was paying for the treatment, the secretary asked if she should schedule a follow up, and the injector said no need she has a Groupon. For background, I have used botox before and received it in Korea at a skincare clinic. I loved the results then and thought it would be similar to that treatment. In Korea, they cleanse and numb your face prior to treatment. They also show you the bottle before they draw it into the needle. At skin perfect brothers, she turned her back to me and didn't show me that it really was botox. It could have been dysport for all I know. She rubbed a Vaseline type cream on my forehead without wiping it clean and just started injecting (after marking my muscle movement). Its only been 5 days, and we'll see in 2 weeks at its full development. I wanted an annual visit there, but after that treatment... I'm good. They did text me to see if I was happy with it. I'll find out in 2 weeks and let them know.

It was also refilled for future use, which I'm thankful for. However, it took nearly two months to straighten everything out before I was finally able to receive my prescription. However, the overall experience still leaves me genuinely concerned. It took me being unusually persistent and more forceful than I'm comfortable with just to get a response from the office, pharmacy, and insurance. That shouldn't be necessary for a patient trying to manage their healthcare. More importantly, this situation caused me a great deal of stress and anxiety and has negatively impacted my health. I already deal with high blood pressure, and this experience elevated it further, which is both troubling and unacceptable when seeking medical care. At this time, I'm giving a 3-star rating in recognition of the effort Dr. Tomasian made to personally address the situation. I may update this after future visits. I sincerely hope his office improves how they handle patient communication and follow-through so that no other patient has to go through a similar experience.
