My first experience here was terrible. I bought a groupon for iBeauty Room, but they sent me to Expression Lash Studio in Encino because the owner is the same for both locations.The first aesthetician did not even inquire to see what type of lashes I wanted (curl, thickness, overall look) and just proceeded without any sort of intro. The process of the full-set took about two hours. Way longer than anticipated. I have had a full-set done at another location and it only took about an hour and ten minutes. At IBeauty, I woke up with my eyes stinging and tearing up because of the glue. My eyes were swollen for about 2-3 hours. This DID NOT happen at the other place I went to. Hoping it was just the particular aesthetician and not wanting to waste my money, I booked my follow-up fill appointment with a different person. However, they called me the DAY OF notifying me that she was sick and had to reschedule. That's fine, totally understandable. Then, I got terribly sick with the flu the day of my rescheduled appointment so I called to reschedule in the morning and they told me they would have to charge me $25 for calling in the same day. Ridiculous. So if the aesthetician calls in sick the same day of my appointment, no harm no foul. But if I call in sick-and you could clearly hear in my voice how sick I was; I couldn't even go to work for 4 days-then they charge you a fee. Over the course of the hour, I argued my point and finally got my appointment rescheduled for free. Begrudgingly, I went in for my fill the following week. I felt bad because it had now almost been a month since my first appointment and offered to pay the difference. Kindly, she declined and did an AMAZING job on my eyelashes. No stinging, extra curl as I wanted, and was extremely polite despite the whole situation. Andrea is amazing. She saves this lash studio with her skill, politeness, and gentleness. I will NEVER book an appointment at this establishment unless it is with Andrea. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BOTHER GOING HERE UNLESS YOU BOOK WITH ANDREA. read more

The best facials in LA. The prices are very reasonable too. I see Irina every two weeks. We do microdermabrasion, oxygen, red light treatments, collagen. She uses a good quality skin care products. Went there already several times, really good specialist! She knows what she is doing! What I did: 1. eyelashes extension - cheaper than any other places! really good, detailed work. No one been able to tell that its an extension:) and last long time. 2. red carpet facial - did it couple of times. And regular facial. The specialist adding machinery as oxiden and some others ( which i normally been paying extra at other places here it was complimentary!!) But most important - she understand skin so well so she did exactly what my skin needed! In the period of 2 months ( since im going there) my skin improved a lot! Love love love my eyelashes!! I got them done twice. The first time I went I got the regular set of lashes and I got so many compliments, they looked naturally beautiful! They lasted a long time too! I started going to Ibeauty room 2 month ago, my friend recommended Irina, she said the specialist was really nice and did a good job on her, also concentrates on result you are willing get! It turned to be true!! After first time face felt great! My problem was some acne and big pores, after second time I noticed a big change with my acne, I came back in a week again, so now it's all gone! I go once in 2 weeks now to keep my face perfect:) Every time I come she does different procedures, what ever she thinks I need at the moment, plus she always finishes it with blue and red lamp ( LED light therapy) which I think helps in complex a lot! Irina is a great specialist not only because she is knowledgeable and knows what she is doing but also she is involved and wants to see the result of her work, not just to get payed.
