Everything from the way you are greeted to the service to the food is just wonderful here. I've had many items on the menu and haven't been disappointed. The roughy and shrimp is amazing, the bruschetta spread they serve with the bread is delicious, garlic bread is to die for, I've never been disappointed by a soup of the day, my husband loves the gnocchi, I've even had them blacken the scallops and they were absolutely phenomenal. We have watched this restaurant be built, be delayed thanks to construction issues and then COVID, and finally tried it tonite! ....and WOW. Why oh why did we wait so long. The atmosphere is very pleasing with a mix of sophistication and taste that was not stuffy! But the food?????? Oh baby, oh baby The FOOD WAS AMAZING and our waiter, Oscar was totally AMAZING ALSO! The perfect waiter! The menu choices covered it all....even if you aren't a Italian food fan you will love the choices. We started off with Lobster Bisque and the complimentary crispy bread, butter and vinaigrette. Not a drop was left! Our main entrees were Chicken Supreme Parmigina and the Dal Marr Scallops with artichoke. Believe me we were impressed, impressed and more impressed and very satisfied! This restaurant was such a find for my family and I on our vacation to Lake Conroe! Our server, Megan, was absolutely amazing for our party of 10. We had her running around between all of our appetizers, entree's, and drink refills (thank you for ALL of the extra cherries for my girls' Shirley Temple's). She was knowledgeable and always cool, calm, and collected. The owner of the restaurant visited our table a couple of times and took the time to chit chat and show appreciation for our patronage. The ambiance was fantastic, with lots of small details to appreciate. Now to the food...WOW! The lobster bisque was unparalleled to this self proclaimed lobster bisque connoisseur. I would recommend the Tuna Tartare for sure. With the 10 oz. filet and lobster, you can't go wrong with the surf and turf. I ordered the Scallops, which were a melt in your mouth, buttery goodness. We ordered one of each of the desserts to bring home & we're still devouring them as I type. One of our favorite places near Lake Conroe. Love the owners and the quality they provide, prices are pretty high for this area, but for special occasions it is totally worth it. The adjacent bar is probably the best in the area. Cozy atmosphere and they are serving amazing drinks. read more

this is our favorite restaurant in the whole area. the restaurant is lovely and classy inside. the food is delicious and authentic italian. the bread rolls are amazing. i could make a meal just eating the garlic rolls. my favorite is the fongola la pasta. spaghetti with clams but every dish we have tried would transport us to italy. they are an excellent place to have a party because the whole staff are very accommodating. i heartily recommend Amore ps they have an excellent wine selection and the prices are very reasonable read more

Escargot were cooked right and buttery. Lobster bisque was delicious and actually had a decent amount of lobster in it. Oysters were only thing that was just ok. I'm from New Orleans so hard to beat what we do. Tried these cause they were baked and Mediterranean which I don't see. Little fishy unfortunately either we're not fresh or got warm too long before cooking but still not bad. Originally went here for the lobster roll for some reason I have to try every place that serves it. Was sad to see it not on the menu cause it's bistro side apparently. Well in true excellent service they allowed me to order one anyway. So glad they did, WOW!! Stuffed nicely with lobster and topped with two shrimp and bread that melts in your mouth mmmm. Only shocker was price. Most expensive lobster roll I've ever purchased $32?! and I've been around. That's a bit high but can't knock them a star. They were so sweet and accommodating and food was just delicious. If I'm ever back on this side will definitely stop by to try other things. My husband and I visited Amore for dinner on a Friday night- we had a lovely time. We were seated in the bar area where we enjoyed live music and the best garlic knots that I've ever tasted in my entire life. Our dishes were flavorful and we could taste that everything was prepared with fresh ingredients. Our server was very friendly and the owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. Reviewing amore is somewhat tricky. Many of my neighbors talked it up and the establishment is somewhat regarded as the best restaurant in the lake Conroe area. I made reservations and took a nice lady out for an evening date and it was an overall god experience. The atmosphere is good, but not amazing. The food was good, but not good enough for the price point if I'm being honest. The service was spot on. I feel like if this restaurant was in a proper area (Houston/woodlands), it wouldn't make it. Since it is out in the lake Conroe are which is mostly a desert of decent restaurants, it gets a pass and is regarded as excellent. We had the iceberg salad which was good. We had the Del Mar main and grouper main. The seafood on the mixed main was not special. Most likely from frozen prepackaged Sysco type beginnings. The grouper was much rather good. So salad was just ok. Mixed seafood plate was bad. Grouper was good. The bill was ~$140 without alcohol and with tip. I won't be headed back to Amore anytime soon. I'd rather make the trek to the Woodlands for some fine dining, or just make some tasty food myself. read more

My husband and I are in Conroe for a couple days and I was craving pasta. Look up some Italian restaurants on Yelp, Amore is closest to our hotel - let's go there! When we pulled up, the parking lot was mostly empty (it is a Monday after all) and I started to wonder if we should have gone to the flashy boardwalk restaurants instead. We then proceeded to have the best meal in years! Starting with the melt-in your mouth garlic rolls and ending with the house-made Mom's pistachio cake, every single aspect of our experience was absolutely incredible. Our server was sweet and attentive and made excellent suggestions for us. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and we sat in the glass room looking out over the lake. You can tell the staff is extremely knowledgeable and the food is so fresh and well made. It was the end cap to a perfect weekend and if and when we return to Conroe, we will definitely be coming back to Amore! read more

Apparently this little jewel of a restaurant has been here for almost a year without my knowledge! Run by a really beautiful couple and spot on with their knowledge of sauces and seafood this is a MUST for any Montgomery area resident! We have so very few good restaurants in the area and an owner-run biz is always my FIRST choice when spending my money!! The actual cloth tablecloth and napkins bring the small space into a higher level of dining experience. The service was over the top excellent and everything went off without a hitch. The side of fresh fruit was also generous and perfectly ripe. An excellent experience! Add this to the best dining for lunch and/or dinner! For dinner you should try the ahi Tuna or Scallops..cooked to your preference. You will not be disappointed! What a pleasant bonus that the service does accompany the high quality of the cooking. Staff are very attentive and welcoming. The owners Dr. Alfred(who is also the outstanding chef) and his wife Dr. V, are always around willing to exchange some kind words with their customers. The owner is an absolute gem of host, who you can tell takes pride in customer service and fine dining. The food is INCREDIBLE! I had escargot to start, a lemon drop martini to drink and the lobster tail on top of angel hair pasta for my main entree. They kindly gave us a free delicious cheesecake for dessert as well. Wonderful dinner last night at Amore Fine Dining on 105. My friend and I shared escargot. My dinner was Ahi tuna done to perfection. His was sea bass with clams and mussels. Both presentations were spectacular. Our original table was right under a speaker so without hesitation they moved us to a quiet table. Dessert was tge best Tiramisu and an unbelievably dressed cappuccino finished the meal. Exceptional service in a beautiful atmosphere. I hope to return soon. read more

This was my first time here since it being Giovani's before the change. What a big difference though! It's very bright and white and open. I loved it all from walking in to even walking out. Our waitress, Jess, was superb along with the other staff. The martini's are absolutely delicious and so was the other food we didn't get pictures of. My husband and I visited Amore the weekend before Valentines, we've also been there a handful of times. I have to say every time has been great, from the cocktails to desserts. Everyone is always so pleasant and personable. Alfred and his wife VJ make sure you are comfortable and happy. The staff are all great. Our waiter who we have requested the last 4-5 times is Brad. Such a great guy, also personable, knowledgeable and funny. When friends come visit us for a couples night this is where we bring them. My husband and I have been in Montgomery for 3 months now. We've seen this restaurant, but always in the day time when we are running errands, so didn't think it was open. I am on a social media site for restaurants in the area and Amore came highly recommended. Well, it's an absolute understatement to say this place is good, it's great!! We had 2 couples, celebrating Veteran's day and my upcoming birthday. Our server was Nick, a complete gentleman. We ordered two seafood plates, the special of the evening, white salmon, and the roughy and shrimp plate. Also, the lobster bisque, a salad, a side risotto, espresso and dessert.
