Pretty decent food. I loved the atmosphere and the service was great. Everything came out at a decent rate and everything looked picture perfect. Our meals were really good and overall had a nice time. I'd say check it out for a fun lil date night spot.

This was our first time here. I found them because they had Arancini (fried rice balls with mozzarella cheese in the center). They had pasta Bolognese all-you-can-eat on Tuesdays so that is what me and my husband got. The meal included bread and either a soup or salad. I got loaded baked potato soup and husband got salad.

First Timer!! The ambiance, the server, the customer service and the from scratch food was an amazing experience. My daughter birthday dinner was perfect!

Last visit was disappointing but we go here regularly, we got Ryan as our server and he is amazing. He knows the menu and can lead you if needed. I've had the Tuscan skillet twice in a row as it's sooo good! I take the spinach out and they customize menu items easily. Always great atmosphere, background music just right.

First timer and it was a nice experience. The restaurant strives for an upscale experience and mostly delivers. Our waiter was professional and won us over by stopping by shortly after we sat to greet us and say he'd be with us shortly. Just being acknowledged like that when a place is busy makes you feel valued. Upon his return, he took the time to explain the entire menu and the specials and drinks. Given it was Mother's Day weekend, it was busy but we received waters almost immediately and bread shortly after. The wait for the meal wasn't too bad either. I gave the chicken parm 8/10. There was a fairly sweet tomato sauce, I wouldn't say it was traditional. The breading on the chicken was also a bit different than a typical chicken parm as it was thick and crunchy. My friend had Alfredo with added shrimp. The Alfredo sauce was delicious and there were a handful of nicely cooked large shrimp. I'd say another 8/10 for that dish as the Alfredo sauce could have been a bit more cheesy. We liked the calm, dimly lit dining room (booth). Even though it was very busy, the noise was not bad at all. Overall, a nice meal and experience.

Fried cheese ball appetizer- my finger for size.

We went for date night last weekend - it was packed because of prom, but no biggie for us because we had reservations. Italian food is our favorite, so we came in with high expectations. We ordered an appetizer of their fried cheese balls - these were fine, but nothing to rave about; however, the basil cream sauce they came with was delicious. We ordered cocktails and waited 30+ minutes for those to arrive - again, not a huge deal with how busy they were and us not being in a hurry, but perhaps don't come here if you're on a schedule. The cocktails were... abysmal. The grapefruit drink my partner ordered was incredibly bitter, and my drink (blue martini in the photos) transported me back to freshman year of college - it tasted like a flat four loko. The bread was good, carsar salad was fine, the entrées were pretty good, and our server was sweet, but it was not enough to get us to come back for a second time. I recommend heading to Mama Carolla's for better food in a similar price range.

The lasagna is pretty good, but I don't know for the life of me why they include carrots as a side. Can't they come up with something else?

Service was good and we were seated immediately and checked in on at a good pace throughout the night. We ordered the... Burrata Caprese 5/5 - Just get it. Get it. This was so good. We shared this as an appetizer and it was a great start. Short Rib Ravioli 5/5 - This was so good. Would definitely order again, flavor was just there and showing up. Shrimp Scampi 4/5 The shrimp was good, however didn't leave much of an impression for us. It could also be just because the range of different flavors we got this just seemed pretty ok. Dessert!!! We shared a cappuccino cheesecake and it was actually really really good. Was super tempted to get the tiramisu but we were feeling for something new and this didn't disappoint. Since we did it family style we thought the price was really reasonable and if you were visit for a late lunch or early dinner the area looks like a great place to walk and peruse at the little shops.

What a perfect excuse to go back and verify that my first experience was no fluke! They impressed again with what could be the best calamari fritti I have ever had. The calamari itself was melt in your mouth tender and the breading was both light and flavorful. The lemon herb aioli? On point! The first time I ate there, I ordered the branzino - which was amazing. Tender, flaky, and mild with the perfect crispiness in the exterior. Everyone who ordered it on this second visit raved about it. For my second visit, I branched out to the carbonara which was as beautiful on the palate as it looked in the bowl. A perfect crunchiness of the pancetta counterbalanced the tenderness of the pasta which was prepared to a perfect al dente. I reviewed a carbonara from a different restaurant earlier this year and now have an apples to apples comparison that heavily favors Vicino. Service was outstanding despite being very busy that evening and the interior had a nice modern chic appearance - if that matters to you. What matters to me is the food and Vicino is now 2 for 2 in providing an experience that will definitely bring me back again!

I got the pepperoni pizza which was underwhelming. The bottom was white, the top was burnt, the cooking wasn't even and the ingredients were nothing special. I requested to add vegetable toppings to the pizza or instead a 1/2 and 1/2 which the waitress said I could not do... I don't see why? Oh and 2 of our pizzas were sitting on the expo station under a lamp for 5 minutes until the 3rd was out, by the time it got to the table the cheese was hard and not melty. Makes no sense. Poor timing by the chef and subpar pizza overall. Also got the pesto chicken gnocchi, very oily but the flavor was good. Garlic fries were good, no comments there Overall, will not be back.
