Food was delicious, served very fast, a nice dinning area customer service was very prompt and servers were very polite with a smile. Pricing was also a win with the size of the portions. I'll be back!!

Nice little spot in the heart of beech grove. Been going here for about 30 years or more. The lunch special is a great deal post covid. $10 still goes far here for lunch. Overall good spot and the area definitely needs it. Thanks for doing the good work.

BEHOLD, an Italian gem hidden in Beech Grove. I went in here on a random week night. The place was somewhat busy and we were greeted immediately. Wow what a place! The ambiance is a pleasant surprise. What else can I say? The service was fantastic and our waitress was very courteous. The food was phenomenal. When I originally saw the place online, I almost passed on it. Originally, I was saying to not go there and "oh this place looks like a dump, right?" WRONG! Everything seemed homemade and tasted amazing. I enjoyed everything I ordered. However, LOVED my cannoli as well as my toasted ravioli. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE. This place has some outstanding food. The food here is plated exceptionally well and doesn't let you down with it's flavor.

Food is good and consistent, chicken overcooked and somewhat dry lots of good butter sauce that blended the flavors well. Cannelloni Genovese was the best dish in the group.

I order from Uber Eats and let me tell you, wow! Such a great experience and tasty food. I got the penne a la vodka with chicken and it was so much food and very good! With my order I got a side salad AND a small loaf of bread! It was awesome as I was expecting super small portions (and no bread) because that's typically what happens with takeout Italian, but nope! I was pleasantly surprised and will be ordering again!

I've eaten here multiple times -- it's close, consistently delicious, and quite affordable. I love every dish I've tried, as one of the best examples of its kind -- e.g., the wonderful tender lasagna with half bechamel and half marinara sauces, containing just enough meat and sauce. The big crunchy antipasto salad that most meals come with is generous in all regards, and could be a meal unto itself. The chicken dishes always are fork-tender, and the flavors are always rich and complex. Drinks are perfectly okay, but nothing spectacular -- wine selection is decent. Even the ambience is pleasant, if a bit crowded, with frescoes on the walls. There's only one rub: the service. It's consistently slow, inattentive, and lackluster. Orders for takeout always have items omitted. I generally have to beg passing servers for menus and water. Bread (which is quite tasty, warm and with a crunchy crust) doesn't usually show up until the main meal; drinks from the bar often have to be ordered twice, and show up with the main meal. The last server I had was during the mask mandate -- he sat talking with another server until I begged the hostess for water and cocktails, then showed up after she lit a fire under him with "dick-nose" (his nose fully hanging over the mask, which obviates the whole point of wearing a mask), and insisted on talking to us entirely too closely. Gah. So! Don't come here if you're in a hurry -- come with friends you need to catch up with, and settle in for the evening. The food is great; just don't expect too much from the staff.

While I don't think we should get an appetizer again because it was so much food, the marinara that can with the cheesy garlic bread was phenomenal. Both of our entrees were delicious! A ton of food. I wish we could have taken some home, but we're going to a show after. Brussel sprouts were to die for.... So good. Love the glaze they put on them. Again, I think we could have been fine with just our entrees and salads, but all the food we tried was so delicious - I am really glad we did. We may not make it back as often as I would like, but we love the ambiance, service, and food. This is a special place for us and we hope to share it with others.

The entrees (the monkfish special and the carbonara) were good but not great. I did appreciate the crispy, smoky pancetta in the carbonara but the monkfish had a somewhat mushy texture rather than the he firmness we would normally expect. The biggest issue, though, was the check. The calamari never came off, the meatballs for the children's pasta were more expensive than what was on the menu, and we were charged for an extra calamari dipping sauce that we did not ask for. Most of these problems were fixed but the whole thing illustrated a lack of attention to detail and an appearance of up-charging the customer in any way possible. Overall: Food: fair 4/5 Service: decent 3.5/5 Pricing: suspicious 2/5

We shared this as an appetizer and it was a great start. Short Rib Ravioli 5/5 - This was so good. Would definitely order again, flavor was just there and showing up. Shrimp Scampi 4/5 The shrimp was good, however didn't leave much of an impression for us. It could also be just because the range of different flavors we got this just seemed pretty ok. Dessert!!! We shared a cappuccino cheesecake and it was actually really really good. Was super tempted to get the tiramisu but we were feeling for something new and this didn't disappoint. Since we did it family style we thought the price was really reasonable and if you were visit for a late lunch or early dinner the area looks like a great place to walk and peruse at the little shops.
