I called to talk to someone they said that they would credit me . The owner called me back and very rudely told me there was no way he was giving me a credit I had to come back with the sandwich that's not a problem except I ain't got a car right now . During a recent discussion about pizza, my good friend and neighbor highly recommended Amore Pizza in Corinth. This small hamlet just north of where we live has little in the way of dining choices, so I was surprised that she - who managed a popular Saratoga Springs restaurant for almost three decades and is as picky about food as I am - was so enthusiastic about this particular pizzeria as there are many other choices not too far from us and also downtown. My husband and I decided to give it a try. My order was not simple, and after reading some of the reviews about Amore, I was skeptical that we would be happy with the results. I requested a large pie, half red sauce with pepperoni and half white (mozzarella and ricotta) with sausage and mushrooms. I asked that the toppings go out as far to the edge of the crust as possible, and that it be cooked 'crisp'. Just for the heck of it, I added an order of garlic Parmesan chicken wings, even though my friend said they were not very good there. Even though Amore delivers (which is rare in our neck of the woods), my husband chose to pick up the pizza so it would be hot (I was on a Zoom board meeting). He did put it in the oven for a bit to keep it warm because we had the wings first but it was thin and crisp and everything I asked for, Tyler got it right. I am from NJ where NY-style pizza is king. Amore really hit it out of the park with the pizza and they will be our go-to place in the future. Sadly, the wings lived up to their reputation and were a disappointment. They were tiny, not at all crisp, and arrived in a box in a puddle of oil. The garlic Parmesan was sprinkled on them. I would like to recommend that Amore puts their menu on their website. I was told to check their Facebook page for their menu, which I did, but it's difficult to read. I wish they had included a copy of their menu with our order as we might be drawn to try some of their other offerings (but not the wings). The pizza is awarded 5 stars, hands down; the wings 2 stars. In the pizzeria's defense, they did correspond with me via Messenger from their Facebook page so they get 5 stars for customer service. The net net is 4 stars for Amore. We will definitely be back for the pizza! read more

The round pie is terrible. It's the 3rd best pizza out of the three local shops. The pan pizza is better and I'd probably give the place a 2 or 3 if it's was based on the pan pizza but,the last two orders they forgot to make all or part of the order. One of the two times, they forgot to make the pizza. Another time, they forgot to include the sauce. I didn't go back to get it. That's not acceptable and don't expect a "sorry about that" or any acknowledgement that an error was made. Instead, I had to wait while they made the order. Double check your food to make sure everything is in the bag, and made correctly. Or, better yet, got to Rocco's. read more

So I don't hand out 5 stars on take out but I'm in strongly reconsidering. Not sure why this location has low ratings. This is now the third time ordering from them and it's been spot on every time. Pizza is the best around the area I unless your in the City. I n live in greenfield and the only option has only been Fierro's which as of n later has been quite the disappointment as they have gotten more expensive and pizza worse by the minute. So back to Amore. Pizza was normal sized, not like every other place that gets smaller n smaller. Garlic knots were well seasoned n cooked just right. And the antipasto salad was great. I must just have bad luck with this place. It used to be that I would place an order and go to pick it up and they forgot to fill it. This would happen quite often. So I stopped going. I was told to give them another chance, they had new menu items, etc. I gave them another chance; small orders, etc. It seemed okay. I gave them a specific phone number to tie to my name and found out that I had earned $10.00 in credit when they tried to give it to one of my co-workers. Thankfully, she was honest and denied it, telling them it wasn't hers to use. I placed and order for a buffalo chicken pizza to surprise my husband. I thought, "Bonus! I'll use my $10.00 credit!" Nope! They gave it away to someone else. Found out they gave it to my boss when she bought lunch for our department. When I asked Amore about it they said that wouldn't happen, even though I told them that they tried to give it away to someone else before. Anyway, there was no interest, on their part, to make things right. Now for the cherry on top; the Buffalo chicken pizza that I ordered, which was made with breaded chicken breast pieces tossed in buffalo sauce, had rather good size rib bone hanging out of it. I watched the kid make this pizza. He was meticulous. So much so, that I had to wait there for 20 minutes while he was putting the pizza together (20 minutes after I ordered it - it wasn't even in the oven yet) and he didn't even notice. It was disgusting to have to bite down on a bone and pull this wad of partially chewed food out of my mouth. My dinner was over pretty quickly. I don't usually need to be hit over the head by a ton of bricks but I guess, in this case, it was necessary. Not going back again. read more

My favorite pizza place around. The slices are huge if you are just stopping in to grab lunch. The portions in general are huge. I live in Wilton and gladly take the trip up the mountain to get dinner all the time. The food is delicious, we love the pizza, the wings, and the garlic knots. read more

Best place to go for pizza in the area. We have had pasta dishes there as well which were also very good. It is a take out only place.

We ordered an xl pizza with no sauce and it came out great. The crust was amazing and we all enjoyed it. However we also ordered a chicken Alfredo and my 11 year old daughter and I got violently ill from eating it- food poisoning. I'm pretty sure the cook used his bare hands to put the raw chicken on the grill. I will not go back to the location in Corinth again. read more

Amore is located right next to the Stewart's on Main Street in Corinth. It is primarily a takeout place. Inside there are six stools up against narrow counters, but the counters are only wide enough for having a slice or a sandwich. The counters were not clean. The pizza slices are huge. I got two slices for $7.25, and that was about all I could eat. The quality of the pizza is good, with plenty of toppings on each slice. Slices were a little dry from the heat lamp, but not too bad. If you're in Corinth, this is not a bad place to stop for a couple of slices. I wouldn't make the drive from too far away. Their website also mentions a location in Saratoga Springs, but that location has been closed. read more

Not one to go by other reviews so I decided to try this place out for myself even after reading awful reviews. The only good thing I have to say is that the pizza crust was good. I don't understand why it's so hard to get an order right but I ordered a small (6 slice) pizza half buffalo chicken half bbq chicken WITH onions and tomatoes (it's even suggested that way on the menu). What came was a crust with cheese and some kind of chicken flavored crumbles with bbq/buffalo drizzled over the top. No onions or tomatoes (which I repeated twice on the phone). The pizza is definitely NOT New York style, but resembles pizza hut crust. Thick and heavily seasoned (probably to cover up lack of flavor). I also got a cheese steak "bomber". I wanted half because that is an option on the menu since they are huge. The boy on the phone told me they no longer do half since they aren't "huge" anymore. It was pretty large and I could not even finish half of what I received. The steak was very chewy and rubbery, there were almost no toppings. Probably one each of mushrooms, onions, and peppers. And no sign of cheese (I asked for cheese sauce). My order was $35. The small pizza on the menu was $11 so that means the cheese steak was $20??? But then again their menu clearly isn't up to date. This is it....I've had it! I've been ordering from Amores for years... always the same thing...cheeseburger sub...and mac salad. I called to order for myself and my family and heard this discouraging news. I settled for a cheeseburger and onion rings...chicken club and curly fries for the wife and a burger and curly fries for the little one. After a 45 min wait[the wait is not my issue]I recieved a 2 cold burgers, a chicken bacon club with no bacon and cold fries all around.....notice the lack of onion rings? Sigh....ive ignored the teenagers that speak to me like they have more important things to do[sometimes they actually are insulting]....and the loss of my favorite grinder....but after the cold food and missing items....I'm done....i recommend ordering from Rocco's down the street. This places special spark that made me order again and again is gone. What restaurant changes their menu but doesn't update their website? Very disapointing. I had heard they had really good Pizza, even a 10 slice giant pie. So we travelled from Queensbury NY, about 12 miles to get some. Sadly the pizza was very overcooked and dry as hell. In fact, all of the pizza they had in their display window looked overcooked. Don't think we will be going there again. read more

First of all let me start by saying ALL of Amore's food is delicious! I don't believe that, whatever food you order, you will be disappointed. So....the 3 star rating? Only because they ALWAYS get the orders wrong in some way. I order from there quite a bit, but this last time was too much NOT to say something. There was a pretty big order (7 people) and about 50% of the order was wrong. Example: two of us ordered grilled chicken taco salads. We got beef. Another ordered one sub and an order of fries. She got two subs, no fries. Not getting what I order is a regular occurence but the food is always delicious so......not such a big deal. Recently, a bunch of us ordered for delivery and it went to the wrong address. I also don't have time to contact them and wait or run back for them to fix it plus they won't deliver if the check is less than $10.00. So great food...service could improve. read more

Amore Italy Pizza had been great for several years, but my last 2 take-out orders (2 months apart) were less than great. 2 months ago we ordered a large 2 topping pizza and garlic knots. The pizza was great, but we received cheese-covered breadsticks instead of garlic knots. Last week we ordered 2 hot subs (Meatball Parmesan and a steak sub) and Garlic knots. The steak sub was okay. Instead of a Meatball Parmesan sub, it was a Chicken sub with hard chunks of chicken and red sauce. I can not eat chicken. It had powdered Parmesan in the sauce rather than slices of melted Parmesan on the top. Garlic knots were more like 3/4" nuggets of bread. They tasted okay, but they were not the "knots" of bread like they've had before. Mostly teenagers "working", some with masks covering only their chin. A few workers were playing games on their devices at the customer tables (one with no mask), then resuming work without washing their hands. read more

Do NOT order from the menu on Amore's website, www.amoreitalypizza.com, as it is totally outdated. According the the menu, my order should have totaled around $22. Instead, I was charged over $36. When I called back to question them about the discrepancy, they just said I ordered from an old menu. They didn't even try to make things right. I hung up feeling that their practices are deceptive and fraudulent, and that I was just thoroughly screwed over. If the menu is outdated, they should remove it from their website, plain and simple. Not good, Amore, not good at all. I don't know how you stay in business with such unethical practices. read more
