I have been hearing a lot of good things about this place and I was in the area. So, when in Rome... My order was their special of medium pizza and 10 wings. I opted for pepperoni topping and medium traditional wings (an additional price). I also prefer less sauce, so I ordered my pizza with less. On a Thursday afternoon around 130pm, it was only a 20 minute wait. So no complaints there. First off, the appearance, in my opinion, looked like a basic pizza. Almost looked undercooked if I didn't see the steam coming off it. So, at that point, I was expecting something very subpar. However, it was very good. It is a pretty thin pizza, so dont expect anything too thick. Amount of sauce was perfect, cheese was good and pepperoni had good flavor. One of my favorite parts of a pizza is the crust and that is where I got a little disappointed. Its fluffy with a slight crunch (which is perfect), but there wasnt much flavor to it. Now onto the wings. I kind of expect wings to not be crispy anywhere I go and this place was no different. The upside to it, the flavor of the medium was very good. However, it almost tasted like a mild sauce. The wing itself was very juicy and tender. Nothing special, but they were enjoyable with a slice of pizza. The parking lot is very small, so if you have a larger vehicle, maneuvering may be cumbersome. It is just a row of spots and 1 lane to drive along their building. Just something to consider if youre going at a busy time. The woman working was very nice and attentive to when I walked in. She was in the middle of moving boxes and came right up. So good customer service. I did have to call because on their app I was unable to select between boneless and traditional wings. But, they do have an easy to use app. Overall, I gave this 4 stars due to pizza not really standing out and wings not being crispy. I enjoyed it, but I dont think I would specifically seek this place out for my pizza and wing fix. I would not mind trying other things on their menu. read more

Back in like 2008, I remember seeing this building on 57 and it was just a plain looking building. The only sign they had was a single black and white banner that said "Pizza". I was pretty new to adult life, good food, and pizza outside my small home town, but I remember betting it all on finding a hidden gem in this random place that nobody should think to go to. I was still forming my roots in Syracuse and wanted them to be interesting. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that was at least one restaurant ago. I noticed the name Amore coming up a lot on online discussion for great pizza, and when I finally looked it up, I was excited to realize it was my old favorite no-name pizzeria. We started with a pepperoni/garlic halvsie pizza and some Extra Hot Wings. For Extra Hot, the wings were kinda spicy. Great tasting sauce and great wings though. Not top tier, but better than average. The pizza though, that's top tier. Soft, thin, greasy, crispy, not too much of any of those things. Favorite pizzas are hard in a place like this, but this name always comes up now. Next time we ordered, we were feeling the Bang Bang Chicken pizza. It's not something you see on every menu, and the way it was notated on their menu inside made it seem like a point of pride for them. This pizza had all the same great qualities as the original, but the chicken and sauce took it a completely different direction. The sauce was right on par with good bang bang sauce, but their regular pizzas are so good I wouldn't deviate from them again. One thing that struck me funny was that they limit only their Phillys and nothing else from 11 - 3. I'd be interested to know why that is. I thought maybe it was just a lunch price, but I placed my order shortly after 3:00 and ordering a cheesesteak just wasn't in the stars. We scrambled and decided on Chicken Wing Dip and Loaded Fries. The wing dip was exactly the same dish 4 different people bring to every potluck and Super Bowl party, just equal parts cream cheese, buffalo sauce and chicken. When we ordered the loaded fries, we were thinking nacho cheese, but these had full on cheddar and bacon. We had them with ranch and sour cream, but between that and the wing dip, it was a lot. Doesn't matter. All is forgiven if they keep churning out those pizzas exactly the way we had them. These pizzas alone will keep me coming back. read more

Exceptional in EVERY way!!! This place is a regular for me and the crew where I work. We've always enjoyed and been extremely pleased with the quality of everything we've tried. Today it was the breaded and fried chicken sandwich. Chicken was tender and juicy, fried to perfection and served on a super fresh ciabatta roll with provolone cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Super delicious and highly recommended!! Super friendly owner and staff are the finishing touch to this place. Indoor seating in a super clean and comfort environment too!! I'd give this place 11 stars if I could. First and foremost, the owner(?) is probably the nicest man I've ever met in my entire life. I thought that the last time I went there, but this time my husband went in and the first thing he said when he came back to the car was "the guy inside? Nicest guy I've ever met in my life." Second, I've struggled for years to find pizza in Syracuse/Liverpool that I really love until we found this place. The pizza is SO good and their wings are the only ones around that are cooked properly and aren't astronomically priced. Wow. I picked this place at random. My boyfriend and I wanted some good pizza but wanted to try somewhere new. This was AMAZING!!! . We got the Garlic Lovers pizza, supreme pizza, and a sausage roll. While the supreme pizza was good (lots of toppings and cooked perfectly), the garlic lovers pizza is to die for!!!! The ricotta on top is super creamy and the broccoli isn't mushy, but just perfect. Visiting Syracuse I ordered delivery from here while searching for Italian takeout. The food was delicious. Customer service is terrible! I ordered a pizza 3 weeks ago and they charged my card twice. I called before the pizza even arrived to tell them I only want one order and to cancel the other one. They claimed they did but the charge is still on my card for both. I've called multiple times and every time they say the manager isn't in and there's nothing we can do. I emailed, no response. I messaged on Facebook and they read it but left me on read with no response. I'm to the point where I am getting absolutely frustrated with this company!! It's not like it was $5 or $10, it's $30. This company is terrible and I will NEVER order from them again and I don't recommend that anyone else does unless you want to get ripped off. read more

I have always wanted to try Amore pizza because I am always looking for my type of pizza, the kind with thin, crispy crust like in NYC. I bought 2 mushroom slices and 2 pepperoni slices. Fresh mushrooms, yum! The crust was thin, crispy and flavorful. I could fold it up like a NYC slice easily. The amount of cheese and sauce were perfect. Delicious pizza! So impressed, I also bought a gift certificate for my husband/ me. The owner and employee were both masked. Place is very clean. I got take out, but there are also a few tables. After Mark's Pizzeria abandoned us, we were looking for a new spot and This is it! They are generous with pizza topping, the crust is the perfect consistency and they have a great sauce. We usually do delivery and they always arrive when promised and the delivery guys (never had any girls as yet) are always very friendly. Portion sizes on fries and salads are also good and their boneless chicken are cooked to perfection and we order them with a medium sauce which is the right amount of heat. read more

Best pizza in all the land! Thin crust not limp not hard, just right. Not drowning in so-so sauce as many are, instead the sauce was there but not overpowering the cheese which to me is important. So if you are sick of the usual too bland saucy pizza then I suggest you try Amore. They also have free delivery in my area which no one does any more. All around excellent. read more
