I've lived just down the road from Amores for the past five years, and unfortunately, over the last two to two-and-a-half years, the quality and consistency of the food has steadily declined. What was once one of our go-to spots has become a repeated disappointment. I want to be clear that the front-of-house service has always been excellent. One of the longtime managers, who has been there as long as I've lived in the area, is consistently friendly, outgoing, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, great customer service can only do so much when the food quality continues to suffer. We've received credits multiple times for poor-quality orders, but at this point, we no longer want credits--we simply won't be ordering again. Our most recent order was the final straw. The pizza crust was extremely soggy, likely from sitting too long while other items were being prepared. The toppings slid right off when we picked up a slice. The calzone was leaking greasy liquid, and the marinara sauce, which I once raved about, was acidic, bland, and lacking the flavor it used to have. After discussing it as a family, we all agreed that the food has become consistently bland, low-quality, and unappetizing. It's frustrating to spend $30-$50 on dinner for a family of three only to regret the purchase every time. I genuinely believe better training, stronger oversight, and a renewed focus on quality could make a significant difference. It's disappointing because Amores used to serve consistently great food. This is not a very good pizza place. They serve slices by having cooked cheese slices sit around. Then they microwave whatever toppings/ingredients you order, plop them on top, and put the slices in the oven. The sauce is pretty bland. The cheese tastes old. And the slices are small. For two slices and an iced tea it was $8. Not an unreasonable price.... If it was tasty. It wasn't. The slices looked sad. I took two bites and then tossed them right in the garbage. The cashier saw me do it and didn't seem surprised. The staff is courteous but dim.... Not their fault. They're kids. If you're really hungry and cannot drive a mile down the road... I GUESS this place could do the trick. Maybe. The atmosphere is bland an forgettable. They have tables but you don't really wanna sit here. It's within walking distance of the high-school. You'd think they'd do a better job here. Oh well. I won't go back. You probably shouldn't bother either. There are a bunch of way better places nearby. read more

Let me start this by saying Amore has excellent food. Their pizza & wings are seriously one of the best in the area and the staff is friendly. We order on nights we are both getting home around dinner time (not much time to cook) but delivery is almost always over 45 mins and it's cold when it arrives despite us being less than a mile away. I would say around the 4th time receiving cold food (I'm not talking stone cold food, but you can absolutely tell it's sat there) we, unfortunately, decided to go with another pizza place that's double the distance with not as good pizza because it's always hot when it gets to us. It sucks to feel like I have to give this place under 5 stars, but when deliverable food is the reason you contact the restaurant, you want it to at the least be warm when it gets to you. read more

I'm giving you guys 2 stars not because of the pizza. Pizza is pretty good. I live 7 minutes from you guys in QB and you don't deliver in my area which I found out when the driver arrived. GPS says 3.7 miles away! How do you guys find new customers? I'm new customer and this is a complete bummer honestly. Its weird enough when you go there are no pizzas to display on counter. Cheese pie is ok, but if you get toppings they don't put many toppings on it at all. Wings are also very rubbery.

I'm from Western NY and saw Tomato Pie on their menu so I was anxious to try it. Don't see it much around here. be sure to order specify Sicilian style or they'll give you a thin crust. It is very good. Light and airy, not greasy, but I remember tomatoe pie as being a very moist, almost creamy dough. The sauce is delicious and just enough Romano cheese. Very good read more

I ordered a pizza for delivery at 8 pm I was told it would be delivered in 30 min. But 45 min went by and no delivery. I called and was told they don't deliver here so it was running late. I told them they delivered next door yesterday. They then told us that they only deliver in a 3 miles radius. I live 3.3 miles away from store. They have good food but bad service . and when we placed order they said nothing about not delivering to us. They took our address and everything. They didn't even have the courtesy to call us and explain why. A young man showed up at 913 pm with cold food. We sent it back. Very upset with this extremely bad service. I love this place! It's nothing fancy but it hits the spot. The pizza is good but I love the subs. I recommend getting the full so you can eat half for dinner and have the other half for lunch the next day. The calzones are massive btw and taste great. Gave it another chance, second time customer service improved, pizza was good, but wings were bad. Third shot, and probably final was a delivery order. I'm giving 5 stars because I've been frequenting this place since I've arrived to town for close to a month now. They've been under the same ownership for 25 years so they're apparently doing something right!!! I love their New York style pizza - it's spot on every time. I almost always order the Chef's Salad to go along with a side of meatballs. Turns into two meals for me. I've also ordered a few of their hot subs. So in a nutshell, after eating here or ordering take out I have yet to experience any disappointments. Amore's isn't anything fancy - just your friendly neighborhood pizzeria. Bought a meatball sub yesterday and it was cruel. the meatballs seemed to be not homemade tasteless and taken out of refg. heated and cause on top terrible. the way i know meatballs put in cause until served to absorb flavor. it was again terrible I have ordered from other restraints and they put meatballs in sause. "Garden salads" are literally a LARGE base of lettuce and 2 THIN slices of tomatoes and a large quantity of THINLY sliced onions.All of there salads are like this throw on a FEW other crappy toppings and that explains it.
