Amore used to have a location closer to my house, so I haven't had it in a long time. But, I always loved ordering Amore for delivery, because it is just *so* good. Crust was perfect, toppings were just right, and definitely up there as one of my favorite pizza places. Reminds me a lot of my favorite pizza joint in my hometown. I think Amore is one of the better, high quality pizza places in Anchorage. Delivery and customer service could be a little off -- felt kind of turned off by a brusque guy when I did a pick-up once, but eh, oh well. He still made a fine pie. read more

We tried Amore's tonight and we will definitely go again! My husband got the Philly steak and I tried the Greek pizza. I love that the pepperoni was real and flavorful without being greasy. My husband's sandwich was large and said it was cheesy and delicious (however he would have loved a few fries to go with). We live close by and wish we had gone sooner. I love Amore Pizza. Not only is it really cheap, they're open ALL THE TIME. Holidays, when you need pizza at 6 am, whenever. And I really, really like the pizza. It's obviously not gourmet, but I'm always pleased and so far have never been disappointed. Sicily's is good too, but I actually prefer Amore. Give'em a try! Also, it's really not good for eating in. They have a couple tables set up, but Amore is really just for delivery and take out. read more

Fast delivery, great prices and good pizza. Was traveling between anchorage and Phoenix used credit card in both places same day; so bank declined card thinking it was fraud. The staff tried to call but didn't have cell service to give them another form of payment; well they delivered pizza anyway I have the driver another card to use and he left without verifying cars would work. No other questions took it on face value card would process. I forgot to add tip called and spoke to someone and asked to add tip and verify card processed ok. In this day and age to that trust someone would give you the correct info after a credit card was declined is amazing. Great service and they earned my business every time I have a craving for good pizza. They're generous with the toppings and the cheese, good crust and just overall a great pie! Good pizza. I thought delivery of a 12 inch pizza with not many toppings and less cheese than other reviewers described was too expensive. Could increase toppings...a bit skimpy. Overall really good crust and red sauce delicious. I'd order again if back in town. read more

5 Star rating is based on their quality of food, courteous staff, quick preparation time, and cheap delivery before your order gets cold. Don't go there expecting to sit down and have a nice 'experience', they don't pretend to be anything but a pick-up or delivery pizza place. As a displaced New Yorker, I've come to lower my standards for pizza anywhere west of the Mississippi. Amore's pizza may not be exactly the same as home, but the quality of cheese, crust, sauce, and toppings independently are so close I can overlook the shortcomings of not being in NYC. My original pizza place was closed today I looked on yelp for another pizza place to order from and Amore was next up in my area of town. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and pepperoni with mushroom the 2 xl and 2 topping pizzas for $25.00. They were not good. My whole family is not feeling well from whatever the ingredient. Lucky they get at least 1 star so I can even write a review. The guy who I picked them up from seemed nice. I am a loyal customer to my joints I should've never went to another pizza place. read more

Our go to pizza place for delivery in anchorage. Always order the Amores special pizza and delivery is always quick.

Really good pizza - cheesy, chewy crust, quality toppings. We order delivery from here maybe 1x a month or every-other month and the food is always consistently good. The delivery is quick and the delivery guy usually runs from his car to our door when he arrives. The only downside is that sometimes the meat pizzas can be a bit on the greasy side, but that's pizza for ya. read more

This place is bomb! Crust not too thing or too stale. They're prompt and on time. They keep the pizza hot when it is delivered (I have had bad experiences with most pizza places that do deliver) they have plenty options and great specials as well! read more

I called requesting gluten free pizza. The lady seemed sure it was she even said she asked the manager and he said it was to. Don't be fooled it is not gluten free. They use two different wheat grains but they continued to claim it was gluten free, staff was not knowledgeable about gluten and what products contain it. But for most of you this is irrelevant and I can't comment on their pizza as I had to send it back. read more

Almost strictly a takeout place, since there are only a few spots to sit down in front, and these seem to mainly be for people waiting for their order. Pizzas have a thick layer of factory white cheese sprinkled with ingredients that mostly came straight out of a can. Fairly priced for what it is. read more

We live on Eastside where we don't have a whole lot of options for pizza that will arrive quickly. So we tried Amore twice recently. Totally decent pizza, low prices, fast delivery. And I like that they use real sausage and not pre-formed balls of mystery meat! We also tried the meatball sub recently and it's good, too. Definitely recommend this to fellow Eastsiders. read more
