There's nothing like a brand spank'n new service station. Clean and organized drink area. One of the coolest selections of coffee stuff I have seen. I have purchased tobacco products from this store for years but, lately they seem to have a serious issue between the prices listed on their shelf-tags and the price they charge at the register. The most recent is the THIRD time out of four I've experienced discrepancies between the price on their price tags and what they charge at the register. Today the price tag displayed on the product was $5.19. +tax The price charged at the register was actually $5.99 +tax When I pointed this out I was referred to a manager(?) and explained that if the price tag reads $5.19 they can not charge $0.80 more at the register. By this point I expected to pay the price advertised on their price tag but, instead I was told "I'm sorry, I can not sell these to you." Really? To further rub salt in the wound I was told "I need to change the price." So, I'm made to wait while she goes into the back room to create a new price tag. I figured she's going to make a new tag for $5.99 like the register rang so, I told the clerk I'd just buy them for $5.99 because I didn't care to wait and be inconvenienced any further. Here's the clincher, as I'm telling the clerk I'll take them at $5.99, out comes the same manager(?) with a new price tag. $5.99, right? WRONG! The new price was now $5.29. So, during the time I'm made to wait the price for this item has changed TWICE. Once she put the new $5.29 price tag on the product the manager(?) turned to me and rudely states "They $5.29 now, you still want?" Not only was this experience ridiculous, in my opinion it was also unacceptable and I will no longer be returning to this store It wouldn't surprise me to learn this applies to other items in their store as well. I'm not sure what has happened here as I've used this store for years without any problem but, lately (last 2 months) there seems to be a serious decline in quality of service and accuracy of price tags. This gas station has become SO paranoid because of the high school kids that frequent this location, it's not even funny. I was paying to fill up my gas tank one afternoon, and the cashiers blatantly tell the kids to leave their backpacks at the door, a reasonable request, but not every kid who walks in there is intent on stealing. Not only that, but they have an additional fee for Debit purchases?? What the heck is up with that? If their goal is to inconvenience their customers and drive them away to other gas stations, then they are successful! The variety of drinks and snacks is typical of your average gas station, but honestly I would rather drive a little farther to have better service and no ridiculous up charge for debit/credit. read more

Unbelievably rude staff, bought gas today also bottled water. Filled up my own cup with ice. No signage stating one would be charged 60 cents for ice. Clerk demanded as I was leaving I pay for the ice. I told her I did not have 60 cents and gave her the change I had, about 38 cents. She threatened me with having me banned from the store. I have never paid at an arco for ice in my own cup and only get ice while being a paying customer for gas. This place is a joke. Everything is clustered together. Small store ...... but the reason I'm jumping on Yelp is due to the piss poor service from ELIA. The girl can't even count change. I walked up to the counter not even a single hello! I went in with a $15 scratcher winner, purchased 2 waters and 2 energy drinks, two of the same items she scans each individually like a dolt. I wanted my scratcher winner to be applied to my balance and take my change from there. This is a convenient location for gas station and large convenience store. Sadly, the staff tends to be rude and makes stopping there non-desirable. This Arco is IMPOSSIBLE to get to. Unless you want to pay a $436 Minimum Fine For Making A U-Turn you as a customer have to drive close to 1/2 of a mile out of your way to save money if of course you pay with cast.
