Please stop and read! My family and I had a great day and stopped by the gas station/ #AMPM on rose Dr and imperial HWY in placentia , ca between the hours of 7:50pm-8:10pm day after thanksgiving (Black Friday). My sis had to use the restroom and my mom wanted snacks. They both went inside one to ask for the key for restroom and other to shop. When my sis asked to use the bathroom she was told by the man working the counter (who happened to be middle eastern) WE DONT have a bathroom. Which was untrue because my husband who happens to be white has been to this exact gas station and the gas attendant let him use this exact same restroom. From the video you can see that the bathroom isn't out of order and not in use and clearly exists. He wouldn't let my sis use the bathroom so she went to use the bathroom at the chuckle cheese next door and didn't put up a fuss. As this all is happening my mom is still in the store and when she got to the counter to pay the same attendant asked her is she sure she can afford her things because they were expensive and she told him she could. I was in the car during this exchange so when my mom came to the car to tell me I went inside and asked why he said those horriable things and treated my family that way just because we are black. All he said was that they don't have a bathroom in response and I then told him that's not true and that my husband who happens to be white has come to that location and they allow him to use it. All I can say is that Racisim is alive and it's so sad. People are openly racist and I just pray that they get help they need. I just moved to the area and this is what I have to look forward to.I don't want anything out of this except for that gas station attendant to be held accountable and not just get a slap on the wrist. People are people no matter the skin color. I will take this matter all the way up the the CEO to AMPM if need be. I don't care how long it takes. I've been going to this gas station for several years and have always found it to be a great spot. The fuel was about the same in terms of price as other places and it was convenient enough to make it great. I've always found the people who work there to be pleasant and friendly. But the reason for the 1-star has to do with a change that was made to the fountain drink station. Just this past week, the soda machine was changed out to a new style that has the touch screen. I'm sure that part of the machine works fine, but I can't get past the fact that there's only one ice funnel for this machine and that the three times I've tried to use it there is no ice coming out of the machine at all. The previous fountain drink station had issues with the crushed ice dispenser, which is why I'm sure it was changed out. But now there's no ice at all. I hope this review catches the attention of the owners and that they can remedy this to make the ice dispenser work again. But until that happens, all I can give this otherwise good Arco station is one star. read more

Been buying gas for over 15 years at this Arco station. Sunday coming in from Bakersfield needed gas and a bathroom for a pee break. I have never asked for a potty before and they said they had no bathroom facilities inside or on the premises. The attendant was very rude. I wish I would've asked before I got gas. I am 74 years old but I'll walk before I ever get fuel there again. read more

Prices are always the cheapest in the area but the lot is SO small and SO crowded. If you can get in when it isn't crowded then do it!

Horrible staff. Wouldn't take the time to listen to the pump issues I was having and told me I don't know how to use the pump. After dealing with that, got back to my office to find out the cheese burger I got there had no cheese. Just don't bother going there unless you really need gas and don't have to go inside and pay. read more

2021, and you guys still cant find a more efficient way of doing a shift change other than closing for 20 minutes. also, pick your head up and make eye contact with someone when you are speaking to them. plenty of people out there looking for jobs rather than the public deal with those not capable of handling basic customer service skills. read more

I purposely took the time out of my precious Tuesday night to put in gas before my crazy commute the next morning and my night was completely ruined once i realized that right when i got to this gas station they were going a 15 minute shift change...... .....really? do you have to close down the entire gas station/business for a shift change? i would rather have them tell me they're going through a system maintenance for 15 minutes than to know that i'd be waiting for a shift change. i will admit gas is cheap there. read more

Very obvious he's trying to hide his discriminatory comments from the store camera with his creepy smile. He doesn't even follow his own store policies. This ARCO "Sucks"!!! This place is the most chaotic gas station. My Family & I are through with coming here! The outdoor machines NEVER work. I've told the attendant more than one too many times to get it fixed! Let's not get into the frustration of the way the "Arrows" face. This morning my wife and I where taking our son to school, the gas light comes on. We drop him off and go to the Arco gas station on Imperial and Rose Dr. The guy at the pump in front of me is having problems and his pump won't pump gas, I figure he's doing something wrong and I pay with my card. I go to pump gas and it won't pump. I go inside and the lady by the name Itzel tells me that 87 octane isn't working and that if I wanted to buy gas from them then I would have to do a higher octane. I tell her this makes no since and she apologizes and says that's all she can recommend to solve the problem. I go to pump 89 octane and it's pumping super slow, I get to 13 cents and it stops and won't pump again. I go back inside and tell her the problem, she tells me she knows and that all the octanes are slowly shutting down. I tell her that I didn't just use my card to pump 13 cents worth of gas and pay 35 cents to use my card for this outcome. She starts yelling at me and is telling me I need to leave (remember my gas lights on). I demand my 35 cents back and she keeps yelling at me. I told her she should block off the gas pumps because now there's about 5 people behind me wondering why they can't pump gas. She follows me outside giving me a hard time and finally starts blocking off the gas pumps. Will be buying my gas elsewhere now as I feel being a paying customer I shouldn't have been treated this way read more

Yes it is chaotic. Yes it may not have hot coffee. Two words...CHEAP GAS! Often among the cheapest in OC. BTW, I get my coffee at Starbucks one block away. read more
