Obsessed with their chorizo breakfast sandwich. It has avocado!!

Just here to check in again and let y'all know that golden state still reigns supreme. They have it all, good coffee, good food, good pastries, plenty of seating, and service is always great!

Cool space with a lot of seating. One of the workers could not be bothered as he was busy talking to his friend the whole time. Coffee was okay, I got the london fog latte and wish it was a little sweeter.

One of my favorite spots to get coffee and get work done. Tons of small tables and brick walls that absorb sound well. Love the ambiance. Parking is limited right in front the building, but there's a big public parking lot down the street.

Super friendly staff in a beautiful antique building with plenty of space to set up to study or meet up with friends. It's located in a historic brick building with nooks and outlets ready to charge a laptop. There's also a large window where you can watch the roasting process happen.

Phenomenal spot!! The location is in Old Towne Placentia which is already a vibe for me, it reminds me of my home country so much. It's right next to the metro station so there's lots of parking nearby on top of street parking. This was our first time and it did not disappoint! Not only is this place HUGE but it's so nice inside and comfy and such a great spot to hang out with a large group or even come to study! They have the roaster out on the floor as well that you can see behind glass windows which just added to the ambiance inside. The barista was sweet and answered all my questions. Food and drinks came out fast! I am still currently caffeine free so I ordered a hot chocolate with a turkey sausage breakfast sandwich. It was so delicious and hit the right spot!! They also have tapatío in the middle counter in case you need spice like I do. My husband got their famous Spanish latte iced! He said it was on the sweeter side and was glad he also ordered a double shot of espresso on the side to toss into it. So keep in mind you may want to add shots if you like your drinks stronger. He also had the chorizo breakfast sandwich and it was very well made and didn't need any added spice. We will definitely be back here! Such a good hang out spot for large groups!!

This coffee place is awesome!! There is so much great seating since with outlets, free WiFi, and a clean restroom. They have food, pastries, and delicious coffee. I got a Spanish latte and it was delicious! Great and strong tasting espresso. Staff is also super friendly and there is lots of free parking.

First time here and less than a mile from the office. Located in a small old town quaint neighborhood of Placentia. There's very limited parking on the street but lots of parking in the back. Located in an old building, inside they have their own roasters with a wide open space for mobile working. Very very large open space by the counter. They have all year long coffees and tea menu and a seasonal menu. Small bite patties and sandwiches are available. Quick to order. The chorizo breakfast sandwich is really good with the chipotle sauce. Seasonal campfire latte is pretty tasty. Wish they had the maple latte on the menu. Maybe next year. I'll soon come again since I know it's close by.

Dirty matcha latte and avocado toast
    Connie B.

I used to come here a lot more in the past, then I stopped, but I didn't remember why. Then my most recent visit jogged my memory. The atmosphere and ambiance of this coffee shop is great - I love the brick walls and the spaciousness. Definitely hipster vibes. It looks like it's built to be a place to work and have meetings, but very relaxed at the same time. They also have numerous outlets. On the day I went, I ordered a dirty matcha latte, which isn't on their menu but they said they can do it (just add an espresso shot to their matcha latte). I also ordered an avocado toast. To be honest it seemed like the workers didn't want to be there, because they were very robotic and didn't give any eye contact when I picked up my order. My dirty matcha was incredibly clumpy, which I can't fully blame them for as it was an off-menu item, but it just wasn't great. The avocado toast wasn't even on toasted bread. The wifi connection was horrible, to the point that I just wrote in my journal for an hour or so and left. This is a recurring issue and probably why I stopped coming before. All this being said, if I just came here to grab one of their menu drinks and hang out with a friend or a book, I'm sure that would be a fantastic experience. But as a place to work I'd probably go elsewhere, especially if you need good internet connection. Or use a good hotspot!

    Amaretto Latte
    Ananya N.

Stopped in for an amaretto latte and loved it--smooth, subtly sweet, and beautifully balanced. Easily one of the better flavored lattes I've had in the area. The space is open and welcoming, with plenty of seating and enough wall-facing tables for those who like to zone in. I visited on a Saturday, and the café had a cheerful buzz--families, kids laughing, and a general weekend energy that made the place feel alive. If you prefer quiet while working, a weekday visit might offer a calmer environment, but the weekend crowd gives the space a warm, community vibe. Perfect spot to sip something great and soak up the local energy.

    Raspberry Matcha

Great customer service! I was here for a pop up event and decided to get the raspberry matcha and a cold brew. Both were really good. I love the space here, there's plenty of tables, seating, and natural lighting

I was really taken back by how beautiful the interior was. It was huge, but had gorgeous brick arches and walls that made this place timeless. There was also a lot of seating inside for people to either lounge or do work. The barista was incredibly knowledgeable about the drinks and answered all of our group's questions. Their drinks were so delicious and had such a unique flavor palette. I will definitely be coming back!

Was in the area for a tournament and trying to find a local coffee shop over the tons of chains. Saw this on Google Maps and was immediately drawn in seeing photos that they had their own coffee bean roaster. Went on a Friday late morning. There were lots of people in there working, but it's such a big space that it didn't feel crowded at all. They sell other local products aside from coffee, which was nice. The staff was very nice and personable. We ordered an Americano, flat white, and a london fog latte (which was on the countertop menu). The pastries looked delicious, but we had already eaten. Everyone loved their drinks. We were so glad we drove an extra couple minutes to get way better coffee!

Parking: I had no problem finding parking spot as the lot is huge and shared with many other businesses. Interior: We were seated right away without any wait time as we arrived when they just opened. We were seated in a dark area of the restaurant (think bar vibe) so I was a little not sure at first. Most brunch places I went to were always filled with sunlight and bright colorful interiors. This place embraced a classic, quiet feel, something like a Steak House would have. Service: Our server's name was Susan I believe, who was nice and attentive through the whole meal, despite the crowd slowly built up and filled the restaurant. She never failed to check back on us, not just once but twice and refilled our water. She probably isn't as familiar with the brunch menu favorites but seem to know more about the Main menu. The General Manager came out and greeted us because most of their customers are regulars and it's uncommon to have first timers like us visiting. This nice hospitality made us feel very warmly welcomed and impressed. Food: I couldn't decide whether to go with the Slow braised beef on the brunch menu (braised beef benedict) or the main menu but ended up going with the Main menu to get a good portion size. It was a perfect choice because the beef is just amazing. It was cooked to a soft perfection, well seasoned, the roasted vegetable was also cooked just right and not super raw/ crunchy like other places. Then the star of the show arrived - the butter cake. As Susan suggested, this is their most popular dessert and I can see why. The butter cake comes piping hot with the ice cream on top. There's a nice sugar crunchy feel near the bottom of the cake. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat this cake. We had a great time overall and would love to come back.
