He helped us choose a design for our project and worked with the concrete contractor to get conduit installed prior to the concrete pour. By informing my wife and I about product choices we didn't know existed, we were able to make our vision a reality. With prompt and reliable communication from Steve, we were able to get an estimate and start the lighting after the concrete workers had already started. Steve exceeded my expectations by being flexible with the schedule of the other trades working the project and making time for our job on very short notice. The products installed look and work great. The installation work is impeccable and the support and follow up after the work was completed has been tremendous. Our project was small, but I can tell that a larger job would be no problem. I would use South Bay Lights again and would recommend without hesitation.

I made a few calls, and settled on Matt and his company. At first, pricing for this sort of system surprised me, but once I saw how much work is involved, the artistry of deciding which type of light to place where (even sinking one light into my yard for maximum WOW factor lighting up my Cypress trees), the attention to detail and complexity of running (and completely hiding) all wiring, I was thrilled to pay the price. This has TRANSFORMED my home from 'meh' to 'wowie zowie'! My exterior just pops the second the AUTOMATED SYSTEM automatically lights up as soon as the sun begins to set. And of course, I can easily control them from my phone! It's been two years since install, and I love it everyday. Then, I experienced an electrical issue NOT related to the lighting system, but that affected it. Matt came by, diagnosed the issue, spent an hour replacing an electrical box, and voila, all is well again. This guy is really something, just a great attitude, superior skill set, and talented lighting artist. I highly recommend OC Night Lights!

The quote was pretty high for (1) connecting a hall LED light that was already purchased and (2) changing a motion detection light switch to a normal flip switch (which I did not have the parts for). When the technician arrived, he informed me that the quoted price $350 was for only one of the items. He wasn't aware of the additional repair and would normally have to charge me $175 but would give me a discount and only charge $125. So a total of $475 for less than an hours work. I'm buying a new home that needs a new breaker box, canned lights and additional plugs installed. I can't give them that work because I can't imagine what charges/up-charges I'd be looking at! Yikes!

Best electrician I have found around here after going through about half a dozen or more and actually hiring about 3 or more. Jose was super nice, very personable, and did a beautiful and clean job for our heat pump water heater electric line. He caulked any gaps in the hole through the wall thoroughly out of his own habit and practice, which was great since I had to ask other Electricians to do this many times before they would do this grudgingly. His work is clean and beautiful and he pays attention to details without me having to check or ask for them. His rate for main electric panel upgrade is the cheapest I have seen in the local market!!! I then hired him for an "emergency" stove outlet fix so we can use the stove we just bought, as the wires were hard wired. He came that same day, got the outlet receptacle in so we could cook that day. He then came over the weekend to finish the job well, even though it was connected the first day. He made it look beautiful, as is typical of his work, and went extra to install an inside cover, drywall patch it, and place an outer cover, after lining it all up nicely. We hired…read moreAll-in-One to install some recessed lighting and outlets inside our home as well as upgrade our electrical panel on the exterior of our home. For the lighting/outlet install, instead of using any kind of drywall saw or cutting tool, they just used a hammer to put holes in our walls and ceilings in order to run wiring and install switches/lighting. This left our home looking crazy and made it unnecessarily difficult to make drywall repairs. Also, a number of the recessed lights they installed were not even symmetrical. On the exterior panel install, they swore up and down that the existing panel could not be replaced without major rework to the wall. So, thinking it was my only option, I approved the location of the new panel off to the side. However, I absolutely did not approve them coming out of the wall at an angle with that large flex conduit the way they did. After addressing these issues with them, their only response was that they could relocate the panel for the same cost as the original installation. Overall, it became clear to us that All-In-One Electric only cared about getting the job done as quickly as possible and had little to no respect for our home. They made it clear that their aim was to do the bare minimum as long as it was "up to code." I would not recommend their services to anyone after this experience.
