The team is nice enough but the workmanship is horrible, especially for the price. We hired All-in-One to install some recessed lighting and outlets inside our home as well as upgrade our electrical panel on the exterior of our home. For the lighting/outlet install, instead of using any kind of drywall saw or cutting tool, they just used a hammer to put holes in our walls and ceilings in order to run wiring and install switches/lighting. This left our home looking crazy and made it unnecessarily difficult to make drywall repairs. Also, a number of the recessed lights they installed were not even symmetrical. On the exterior panel install, they swore up and down that the existing panel could not be replaced without major rework to the wall. So, thinking it was my only option, I approved the location of the new panel off to the side. However, I absolutely did not approve them coming out of the wall at an angle with that large flex conduit the way they did. After addressing these issues with them, their only response was that they could relocate the panel for the same cost as the original installation. Overall, it became clear to us that All-In-One Electric only cared about getting the job done as quickly as possible and had little to no respect for our home. They made it clear that their aim was to do the bare minimum as long as it was "up to code." I would not recommend their services to anyone after this experience. read more

Been gathering quotes on a job we need done. Nothing massive and no one's making millions. Just needed a breaker installed and a line run from our box up through the attic and down to our sauna in the side yard. Seemed simple enough and the other bidders stated it would be a simple run. Their tech came out and I don't know if he was having a bad day or just bummed about being in Long Beach. Was not very friendly and I could tell he could care less about this job. Kept asking things like why did you do this, why don't you do it this way. I just needed a line run not opinions. Was not personable at all and when he noted "I guess", a few things he said. "I'll send a quote". Haven't heard nothing since. Guess he just needs big jobs. Too bad. Need other electrical things done after this but...I'll pass on these guys. read more

I ended up not getting any service so this review is strictly with regards to their initial response and an in-person consult. Our video doorbell was not working so we asked for quotes from several businesses through Yelp. Debbie was quick to respond, setting up an in-person consult at the earliest time possible and accommodating our schedule conflicts, following up with me through Yelp and a phone call. Just thought she was very professional. Oliver then showed up on time and we went over the issue, and he was quick to recommend a potential solution that I could do myself and provided a few tips, and that we can try another route if that don't resolve the issue. I initially contacted them to come check out my electrical panel, as I was getting central AC installed and was unsure if I needed to upgrade it in order to handle it. My first point of contact was Debbie, she was a source of honesty and a breathe of fresh air! She helped me to the best of her ability over the phone, but ultimately ended up sending their technician Oliver out to our home to check it out. Oliver arrived at my home quickly and on time, all while being such a joy! He's is extremely kind, and above all else, honest. He told me that my panel wasn't in need of an upgrade and should handle everything just fine. That was a decent chunk of money he could've made, but chose to help us out instead. The most honest electricians in the region. We're super researchers, so when we had a problem in the house, we contacted half a dozen electricians to come out to give us an estimate. Two of them told us we needed a $12,000 - $15,000 full house rewire. Another suggested a full overhaul of the house with solar upgrade for $28,000. We were in shock over the estimates. Another came over and had to be begged to go into the attic to look at the junction boxes, where we knew we had some issues that needed cleaning up (from both the home inspection and from having another electrician here months before). That estimate came out to be a few thousand dollars, but then at least we had a better feel of the issue and what we considered a more reasonable range. Then we got to speak to Debbie at All-In-One electric. She's an absolute superstar. She spent nearly 30 minutes on the phone with me asking all the right questions and pointing out some flaws in the logic of some of the estimates we were getting: "You are in a new house, which means you passed inspection just a few months ago, right? If that's the case, there's no way you need a full re-wire. You probably don't even need a partial rewire. But we'll take a look." Her questions narrowed down the problem and she said she'd get Oliver out the next day for an estimate. Oliver showed up early and immediately went straight to the attic. When my wife thanked him for that, his first response: "how can I possibly give you an estimate if I don't look at what the problems are?" He took my wife into the attic and had her hold the wires, showing her what was good, what was bad, what needed immediate work and what didn't need work at all. He said: I can't give you an exact estimate until we get in there, but you're looking at less than $1,000 and probably a lot less than that. To go from $15,000 full rewire to less than $1,000 -- and to be COMPLETELY sure he was telling us the truth was not only financially invaluable but so reassuring. Oliver and his colleague showed up early for the fix, immediately got started, were here less than an hour, explained everything they did in clear, concise language and our bill was next to nothing. Their willingness to illustrate what was happening and explain it in laymen's terms was refreshing. We won't have to do any more research for our next project. All-In-One is our only call. And we'll save you some time - they should be your only call too when you need an electrician. read more

What a great experience with All-in-One Electric & Lighting in Long Beach, CA. This last Saturday, November 7, 2020 we had a partial power outage in our home. I went around our home looking to see if I could find out the reason for our partial power outage. After resetting our circuit breakers we still had a partial power outage. I contacted an electrician we have previously used leaving a message about our outage. After not hearing from this electrician I contacted our neighbor asking if they could recommend an electrician. It's rare that I write reviews because rarely do I have an experience worth reviewing. All-In-One was definitely worth reviewing. From my initial contact with Debbie to the response from Ollie and Neale, the experience was first rate. Debbie was upfront with the estimate fee and what that all included. She was able to accommodate my schedule and gave me a two hour window in which the crew would arrive. Yes, you read that right, only two hours!!! She also sent me all paperwork in advance for me to review, and made contact a day before the crew was to show up just to remind and confirm the appointment. The tradesmen arrived a half hour early. Ollie and Neale, who between them had almost 60 years of experience could not have been more professional and friendly. They identified the faulty outlet (although a bit more involved) and gave me several options for repair. They even recommended the less expensive repair which led me to believe they were there to help, and not just there to make a buck. They had the repair done quickly and checked that everything was in good working order before they left. Oliver is the man! He's come out to our house three times in the last month to quote as we wrangle with the scope of what work we want done in our house. The last time he came out was on a Sunday, just after Christmas. He's honest, bright, cheerful and a joy to deal with. And he knows his craft well. And I write this review having not even pulled the trigger and hiring him for any work so far. He offered prices and solutions with our budget in mind and truly strategized with us in a way that made us feel completely at ease. I can't say enough about what it means to trust that you are not being looked at as a business transaction but as a customer - in an old school sort of way. His office staff (Debbie) was very responsive too in booking appointments and following up in writing with quotes in a timely manner. So if you are shopping around for an electrician, I can vouch for this place leaving you with positive energy after the experience. These guys are awesome! Our kitchen outlets went out on Tuesday night and my husband called them the next day. They were not able to come on Wednesday, but we were fine that. Oliver came on Thursday and couldn't trace it by himself, it was a 2-man job and would come back the next day. Oliver came out and was able to fix it in about 20 minutes at a reasonable cost. Oliver was awesome and he even grounded an outlet for me. He also gave me great advice for charging my Tesla. We will definitely be coming back fir when we are ready for an install on a 240 outlet. Very bad customer service. I didn't even commented the full scope of work one the operator commented me that "they don't do that".

I needed to have my ancient electrical panel upgraded, so set about taking bids. I used Yelp to select my candidates and all candidates were highly rated, however, All-In-One really stood out when it came to the bidding process. Almost no one even mentioned that most municipalities considered such an upgrade would require a permit and an inspection. Most did not even mention the need for a permit, unless I asked, though one or two did say that I "should" get a permit, but I would have to handle it . Basically, it was up to me if i wanted to run the "inspection gauntlet." However, All-in-One was different. Oliver came out and confidently assured me that it was a slam dunk and would take less than a day, but that I would require a "meter spot" from Edison and a permit. Oliver in fact was not interested in the work, if I was not interested in a permit. He was refreshingly frank about that but assured me that he and his office would handle that permitting process. I decided that given the fact their bid was competitive and only marginally higher than the others I was considering I went with the man who was most honest about the possible obstacles. I am sure glad I did choose Oliver and All-In-One Electric, because I definitely got my money's worth. Debbie, in the office, did a fine job of scheduling the inspections and helping me through other aspects with Edison. Oliver was also instrumental in getting the permit and speaking to the inspector to get him to sign off on everything. A bid from All-in-One is a FULL service bid. You truly get your money's worth when it comes to All-in-One because the bid includes Debbie as the "inspection wrangler" and Oliver as "inspector tamer" . read more

When Oliver showed up, he was very honest in telling me that I didn't need to spend $1000s on a new panel, but needed a dead panel cover that was out of his expertise.
