Amuse is a great place to shop at for inexpensive costume jewelry and bling. I always walk by when I'm at the Mall and today I decided to stop in and look and see what they had to offer. Walked in and employee was on her phone and didn't pay much attention to us being there. So for this reason I am subtracting 1 star, poor customer service. I guess she had something important on her phone to deal with. Not very welcoming, but no worries, Im just looking anyway. On a brighter note, they have some beautiful necklaces that won't leave your wallet hurting. They also have a large selection of blinged out earrings and hair accessories too. The prices here are very reasonable, I thought it was going to be much more expensive, but, I was wrong. I know where to come when I need a special occasion or statement piece of jewelry and I'll leave happy knowing I got a good deal. Will definitely return to buy that statement piece of jewelry. I have been coming to amuse for twelve years now. It still amazes me how it has survived so much and it is still standing. I used to come in for the hair pieces because they are unique and the prices were always unbeatable and they still are. Everything in the store is unbeatable. The material isn't plated so don't be expecting something high end for a low low price. Their stuff range from hair accessories, to make up, to prom jewelry, earrings, scarves, hats, and there might be more but this is the only things that come to my mind. I love how creative the pieces are. I have never returned anything here so I do not know the return policy. But I've always been a firm believer of only buying what you know will fit you 100% percent or what you really really like, if not you end up dissatisfied writing reviews like the ones listed below. There are may amuse and locations alike that are like this cheap costumer jewelry stores with cheap makeup and false eyelashes for you to buy. Prices ranges from 0.99-50.00 and up if your buying certain pieces of jewelry like tiaras or rhinestone items. They don't disclose discounts apply only to certain items and one item per purchase. If that were the case I'd go to a regular costume jewelry store inside a mall or Walmart/target to pay the same prices where you can at least return or exchange if there are any issues. Employee was left to face the bad news to me and she wasn't fully trained on what to do either, which isn't her fault at all, not her store she's just the messenger. UGH! I'm so disgusted! Some chick tried on some earrings here and the lady that worked there said she couldn't try the earrings on. The chick had it FULLY IN HER EAR. What bothered me is that she didn't make the bitch pay for it. WHY DIDN'T YOU MAKE HER PAY FOR IT? WHY?! The great thing about Amuse is that you can leave this store with something cute and not feeling a dent in your wallet. I originally went to the mall to get a pair of earrings at JC Penny. Well, they were all out of the pair I wanted. Sad right? Well, my friend was like let's go check out Amuse. I left with 3 pairs of earrings for the price of the one I was going to buy at Pennys. Such a great deal. The girls in the store hella stare you down like you are going to grab a handful of earrings and run like some crazy bitch. But who'd do that for $4 pair earrings? Pretty much all the previous reviews have summed it up but I had to put my 2 cents in! Amuse is great! Red Cherry lashes for only $1.99 (majority of the lashes are now called "Creme"). I always need to stock up on lashes; whether it's for personal use or for clients, I always have these lashes on hand. And all the NYX products you've been searching for. Other stores that sell NYX seem to have a low stock that has been filtered through, so nothing good is left. But Amuse always has their shelves full! Oh, and all the bows! Aww, makes me want to have a baby girl, lol. During my last visit, I noticed an odd item being sold. Tapers for stretching ears. Odd! I guess Amuse is encouraging the young-ins to start. My ears are largely stretched; when I saw the teeny tiny tappers, it reminded me of my rebel teen days. And, one thing that makes me smirk is the attempted shoplifting. NYX Round Lipsticks for $3.99 each! NYX Goddess of the Night Lipgloss for $3.99 each as well. NYX Single Eyeshadows are $4 something, can't remember. Awesome. Love the lip products. Didn't buy any eyeshadows, but I know that NYX makes MAC-quality eyeshadows. Hell yea. Minus one star because the tester lipstick tubes are a fricken mess. Seriously, colorful sticky stuff all over the darn place (doesn't help that I tested a ton of colors on the back of my hand too). I drive a good 30 minutes just to come to this semi-crappy mall JUST for this store. I don't know why the other locations don't seem to carry the same nose rings but this place is great. The nose rings last longer than ANY I've had prior for the price. Keep that in mind folks. I'm not saying in the BEST quality because I've even had a few where the gem have fallen out before I get to the car. But the overall length of time and price is worth it. If you buy 2, 3rd is free. They also have a variety of other random items like bags, sunglasses, rings,make up, and necklaces. I believe they also carry fake lashes here too now. So, enjoy! read more

They have awful customer service here. But they carry lots of accessories and best of all, red cherry lashes of all kinds. They price at $2.99 each, but it turns out that it's only $2.49 at the clothing store like three doors down from them. So I'm definitely retiring from Amuse to get my lashes! read more

wth happened to the $1.99 lashes? what did they just decide to raise the price by three times in the last couple months? i'm so disappointed! i love the lashes here cause they seem to be the only ones that fit my eyes perfectly! no need to trim off the ends or any irritation occurrence. best of all they were dirty cheap in comparison to beauty spots and drugstores. however, came in today to pick up three sets and my total came out to a little under $10. what the hay!? i was quite shocked when the sales associate gave me a total and she told me the owner decided to raise the price. atleast though the girls here are nice most of the time so i'll return for the good lashes. however, in the back of my mind will no longer think of amuse as a bargain. read more

Why is it that the employees here never seem too "AMUSEd" to see or even help customers who come in the store?? I wouldn't say the jewelry here is the best, but I used to come in here from time to time if I needed inexpensive accessories for certain theme parties, or Halloween since they have so many different accessories for almost any style. The first time I walked in here, I had a smile on my face and commented how everything was so pretty and sparkly in the store. I immediately felt stupid since the two employees in the store gave me an annoyed rude stare and then continued gossiping with each other. .... Okay then..... I tried to ask if they had any more headbands, and was cut off by one of the gossiping girls who hardly looked up to tell me all the headbands are "over there somewhere" half ass pointing to where I just came from. I reluctantly found some hair clips with fathers that went with my native American themed costume and approached the register, one of the girls then decided to get off of the stool she had been glued to, and acted like she was organizing stuff, probably so she wouldn't have to help me. The other girl tried to act like she couldn't see me or something, so I asked if she was on her break, or maybe there was someone else who could charge me. She then laughed and said she didn't see me there.... Wtf. The other two times I have come here have been similar to my first experience at this store. If I wanted "help" from a bunch of catty girls who look like they hate their life, I might come here again. Otherwise I avoid this store. As a side note, I'm wondering if anyone else noticed this is one of the only stores in the mall with a yelp sticker in the window. Why?? I love this store . They have lots of things ... earrings , pins , makeup , makeup cases , fake lashes , etc. Everything in the store is very cheap and affordable which is great ! They carry lots of NYX products which is wonderful . I love NYX !! I rather order online but it's convenient to have a store that carries so many NYX products . Where to start? When you walk in It's like bam all there in your face. Bows, Earnings Bracelets and makeup! There is so much to look at that at first it could make you go wow... Glitter and glitz everywhere! Which for a girl could be a good or a bad thing. I walked in there on a mission to find some cute new earrings to be wearing to work. I love to have something that stands out and sets me a bit part and going here got me just what I needed and wanted which made me really happy. I went in I a Tuesday so no one was in there and I had the store to myself it was early afternoon. So I got a good chance to look around and get everything that I wanted. I walked out happy. When your buying earrings from anywhere always make sure to clean the post with rubbing alcohol for that your killing anything on them. selections! i love love loveeeeeee accessories - earrings, belts, faux lashes, lip glosses..you name it! definitely my go-to spot to get just that right amount of blinnnnnng on when i need to. it's fun browsing around here but i really wish i didn't get stared down so much from the sales associates! i guess they have to do that cuz of all the ghetto little kids at eastridge..ha!
