    New summer dresses in
    Annie K.

Went into Anthro today to try on their new summer dresses! I love when u can see the colorful new arrivals at the front of the store. A lime and pink one stood out to me but i grabbed a few others. I love the dressing rooms, spacious and cool vibes. The attendants very helpful to get my right size. These sizes and dresses go fast! Got my dress and a few cute accessories like a hat and coin purse for my birthday weekend vacation. Checkout was easy and staff was very helpful! U get a nice discount on ur birthday if ur a member so sign up beforehand! Love shopping here

If you grew up with Urban Outfitters, Anthropolgie is the grown up version of UO. Their clothing is colorful, fun, and chic. They also have home decor and furniture too, all with the same fun and cool vibe. This store moved from the Santana Row location to inside Valley Fair mall. I think the VF location is slightly smaller and don't have as much in stock, but overall there's still quite a nice selection and the displays are always so stylish. I recently found a pair of jeans I purchased online almost 2 years ago but never wore and never will. I found my order online and started the return process online, and then brought them into the store. I'll probably just get store credit, but glad I was still able to return them after all this time. Although I'm not loving all the cropped tops this season, this is still one of my favorite stores.

Place is big but not as big as other location. Customer service received from the cashier is just so so. Great selection! Easy to find in the Westfield mall.

    Sweater with holes

Anthropologie used to be my favorite store and was worth investing in the higher price tag. But now the clothing quality is going downhill fast resulting in lots of damaged, full price pieces (sweaters with holes, stitching errors, loose thread). Really disappointing. Please either improve quality control or bring back high quality clothing.

My favorite of the four candles at the register.

There are many unique items here...clothes, candles, notebooks, pillows, jewelry, towels, books, etc. Also, there is an area of the store with items on sale and clearance too. This is another store I can spend a decent amount of time browsing and admiring all the unique items in the store. This is a place to purchase so many unique and thoughtful gift items

I love Anthropologie! It's such a cute store and the clothes are terrific. The store is neat, well-organized and often has decent sales on what would normally be expensive items. It's easy to navigate and they even have sales going on in the back! I ended up purchasing a corgi mug for myself at $14.00, which was pretty decently priced in my opinion, especially considering how much everything else costs in the store. I would definitely come back here next time I'm in the area!

I had some clothes in my hand, and McKenzie (i hope i spelled her name right), but she offered to hold them for me and take it to the fitting room for me. When i went, she had the clothes set and informed me about how some tops should fit and gave me styling ideas! She offered to take the clothes i liked to the register to speed up the transaction and ordered the clothes they didn't have my size in. Overall, great experience and I would definitely come back! I would say the only downside is no mirrors in the fitting rooms and the cashier being on her phone. Although I do understand the no mirrors as it allows them to give you their thoughts on the clothes. Thank you Mckenzie!

I purchased six items, thinking the price was fair given the high quality of the clothing. I had specifically asked for natural fabrics--but look what I actually received... I didn't pay close attention to the labels at the time of purchase, but when I got home, I checked the composition and discovered that every single garment is made of plastic--100% polyester. I intend to return everything, as I have no desire to put plastic directly against my skin. The cashier seemed pleasant enough to me. I simply wanted to make my purchases quickly and without any hassle, but the local staff seems intent only on ignoring customers. Even though--being a Tuesday--it wasn't busy at all, I still had to wait for someone at the register to finally pay attention to me and be willing to ring me up!

They mainly sell vintage and modern secondhand clothes, bags, and shoes for women and men, but they also have new pottery from a designer called Familiar. The store is spacious and carefully curated. There is no thrift shop smell and it looks more like a cute boutique than a secondhand store. You can sell your clothes there, too. There are two floors of women's clothes and a separate men's shop across a little courtyard in the back. Most of the customers when I was there were young adults of both sexes. The store was busy on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Fortunately, they have a dedicated parking lot behind the shop with plenty of spaces. The staff welcomed me immediately when I walked in. I was interested in looking at purses and they had quite a few vintage and newer ones from designers like Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Dooney & Bourke. I didn't buy any, but enjoyed checking out what they had to offer. I didn't pay too much attention to the clothes, except to notice that women's pant sizes on the second floor only seemed to go up to size 11/12. If they had bigger sizes, I didn't see them. Overall, I was impressed with Black and Brown and would like to go back.

I love that it offers a true boutique shopping experience without the boutique price tag, and I can usually count on finding something I love. Unfortunately, my experience today (3/18) fell short of what I've come to expect over the years. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which is something I've always appreciated in the past--it really sets a welcoming tone. Jocelyn eventually helped me into a dressing room, but along the way there were several missed opportunities for basic customer service. I was browsing with my arms full, and at no point was I offered help holding items or starting a fitting room, which would have made shopping easier. When I was ready to try things on, I was asked to sort and count my items due to the 6-garment limit. I completely understand and respect that policy as a way to manage inventory in a small business. However, during that process, a few items fell behind the counter and weren't addressed at the time. Once in the dressing room, there was no check-in to see how things were fitting or if I needed different sizes or colors--something I've consistently experienced and appreciated during past visits. I did ask to swap out items, and Jocelyn was helpful and pleasant in doing so. At checkout, the items that had fallen behind the counter were brought up again, and I was asked if I wanted to try them on. Since I was already dressed, I declined, but it would have been helpful if those had been handled earlier. There was only one other customer in the store, who had already checked out by the time I was in the fitting room, so it didn't seem particularly busy. I've always associated Bombshell Boutique with attentive, thoughtful service--being greeted, having items held, and receiving support in the dressing room. That level of care makes a big difference and is part of why I've been a loyal customer for so long. This visit just felt a bit lackluster in comparison. I'll definitely be back, but I hope this was just an off day.

I know this is the Bay Area, but I'm not about to drop $100+ per piece at a DTC brand without seeing it in person first. (My mom dressed me in clearance JCPenney and hand-me-downs as a kid.) I've been inside this specific store twice and the one in SF once. The day I made my purchase was a weekend, whereas my other two visits were on weekdays. On weekdays, the store is pretty much empty. I think for shopping in store at Sezane, that is the preference. My biggest peeve with both the SF and SJ stores (and I assume this is a feature of all their stores) is the cubby wall. They could have put multiple racks in that space, but instead they have a massive wall of cubbies with a different style in each cubby. They're all folded, and I was told you need to point out an item and have the employee take it out to show it to you. The same employee then has to find your size and refold and put back what was taken out. This is literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a clothing store. What if I want to see every single piece? How do I even know what the fabric feels like, or if it's sleeveless, or if it's a sweater? You don't, unless you've memorized the Sezane online catalog and know exactly what you're looking for. I could just feel the employee's annoyance every time I asked to see a new style. I would have LOVED to browse more, but the store was very busy, and I didn't want to be a burden. On the weekend day I finally bought something, there was one cashier and there was a line rapidly building behind me as there was a customer who had some sort of involved issue. There was no backup cashier called (not sure they have that capability), and we all just had to wait. I also really wanted to see some dresses in person, but they barely had any - maybe 3 or 4 styles whereas they have a lot online! The clothes are beautiful and maybe if you are shopping 1:1 with an employee on a less busy day, it could even be fun!
