    Fried plantain was incredible.

Extraordinarily good food. Everything is very fresh. The fried plantains were out of this world. Loved the cabbage on the papapusa. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing food truck in Shelton, WA. I've ordered from here many times and consistently get the best pupusas compared to any other venue I've had them at. Their dough to filling ratio is perfect with the dough being just thick enough to contain everything without being dense or heavy, and they are never greasy. My favorites are the Jalapeño one and the Bean one, but all of them are great! Their cabbage slaw is also to die for and I would happily eat an entire bowl of it if given the opportunity. You can also get fried yucca, dessert plantains, and house made horchata here - all fantastic! If you're in town, don't miss the opportunity to try this food truck!

OH MY GOSH! So delicious. I need to come back and try every single one and find my true favorite. The filling amount is just right and the flavor is perfect. They also have Jamaica tea that is so so bomb. And horchata as well. The best food stand in Shelton and basically anywhere that I've tried.

These are incredible and the coleslaw mix is so good! Seriously I drive 45 minutes to come get these. They are so hot and fresh with lots of filling in each of them! The kids also absolutely love them and think they are the best treat ever!

Wonderful flavor but I do not like the bones, fat, and skin chunks in the chicken tamales.

Everything was wonderful, but the platanos and tacos were especially yummy. Everything was very affordable and the menu was set up small-plates/combo style, so you can try a couple dishes for a good price! It was pretty busy while we were there, but the young lady who helped us was killing it! She was there alone, but we were impressed by her hustle and work ethic. She spoke fluent Spanish with other customers as well. 100% recommend this place. We were just passing through Aberdeen, but if we lived closer I have a feeling we would eat our way through the menu in no time!

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5…read moreAmbiance: 4.5/5 For the food, we had the quesobirria tacos, a slew of papusas, carne asada tacos, and an adobada taco. The best bite, the quesobirria tacos, BY FAR. My daughter said it was "the best birria I've had in a long time." The meat was tender and (not to sound too cliche) the consommé was packed with flavor. The papusas the chicken and cheese was the best one, followed by the jalepeno and cheese, the rest were not bad, just nothing to write home about. As far as the tacos go, the carne asada was fine, the adobada had great flavor and a decent char on it. This made for a great post-crab fishing meal and will likely come back next time we're in town. Oh! This place is on the pricier side, just so there's no sticker shock. The service was decent, but I'm pretty sure our papusas were dished up wrong, but such is life when they all look the same, the inside of the restaurant is all of we the place but super clean.

We opted for the drink as we were heading to a friend's for dinner. I got the ensalada while my boyfriend got the horchata and I appreciated how the cashier asked if we wanted ice or not. We also saw some cute Halloween decorated conchas and saw that for four of them was 9.95 so got that to share with our friends. The conchas were delicious and not too sweet. There was plenty of parking near the location. When you enter, you see the restaurant half which is a lovely, cozy space that can seat many customers of all party sizes. They have a section for napkins, utensils and to go boxes too. If you go to the left, that is the bakery as well as small store of different goodies. They had all types of pastries, cakes, and snacks that you can choose from. The prices seem fair. When we entered the bakery side, the employees welcomed us and told us to let them know if we have any questions. Very friendly and quick service! We definitely want to come back to try their pastries, cakes, and food again. They also do have a point system that you can sign up for to get discounts and even a birthday reward too.

You can order cakes 2 days before hand but they also had plenty of ready to go cakes available when we came that day. They had big and small cakes in all different flavors. However, they specialize in different versions of their tres leches cakes, including their popular mango one. Before I tell you about the cake we got, I have to mention one of their coconut cream filled puff pastries I got there. It was easily one of the best freakin thing I had in Seattle. I don't even remember what it was called but it was a large sugar coated flaky puff pastry sandwich that had the best coconut house made whip cream inside. It was insanely good and you need to get it if they have it. Delicious! As for our cake, we went with a small 6 inch Piña Colada tres leche cake ($50). We were a little disappointed the guy behind the counter didn't speak English so it made it difficult to tell him what we wanted. We honestly would have ordered much more items if we were able to communicate. It was also a little disappointing that during our short smooth drive back to our hotel that two of the decorative cherries on the cake had fallen off. Not a big deal since I popped them back on but I didn't feel like that was something I had to do. Everyone we shared the cake with enjoyed it. It was very moist and definitely on the sweet side. It was two layers and the pineapple flavor wasn't overwhelming. The small cake was perfect to share with about 10 people. I did think the cake pricing is a little high but not too bad. Besides their full bakery they are also have a full dining menu and places to sit in the restaurant. They offer all sorts of Salvadoran foods. But like I mentioned communicating in English was difficult with the man there so we didn't order. Although I want to try their empanadas. Parking here was also easy since they have their own lot.

He only came here because he thought that if the tamal cost $6 then they had to be good. They were not. When I asked him where he got them and he said here, I looked it up on Yelp, who was saying they were permanently shut down. Little to no flavor. Traditional Guatemalan tamales have a slice of red bell pepper, and an olive in it, giving it more flavor but this one just had the meat and let me add that the amount of bones that were in the tamale was just absolutely unacceptable. Everyone knows that you don't put bones in tamales. The amount of times I bit into a bone or had to spit them out, made the eating process so unpleasant. I had told my husband to not come here anymore since it's so overpriced but I guess he forgot. It was just another reminder why I don't come here anymore
