    Basketball court

My friend was voting in town and uses this hotel to be close to Disney and Disney races. Their breakfast buffet is delicious and well stocked all the way till 5 mins before they close. Their pool and water slides are perfect to cool off and for kids to play. They also have a ping pong table and a basketball court and if your kids love that then it's the place to be. Location is great and rooms are spacious

Clean comfortable rooms and beds, FREE breakfast, wonderful professional staff, clean pool/waterpark that's heated. Staff made my daughter feel so special today absolutely free of charge This is why we choose this hotel over n over again Their are so many extras and they make you feel so welcome and special I 120% recommend this hotel to any and all.

I am not big on leaving bad reviews but this trip came with more difficulties than I'd like to admit. Checking in was easy but I should've known right away when our keys already didn't work when we first arrived, then the room they booked my in was already occupied with another family that didn't have any plans on leaving. I know mistakes happen but never this much. Each time we wanted to enter the elevator our key cards were not working. On the 3rd night of our stay my kids were enjoying the pools but was cut very short because my son was screaming from pain when we noticed he stepped on broken glass & had chards in his foot , when we let the front desk know they only provided 1 bandaid (they have security to check bags before entering the pool) so this was a kid friendly resort so no glass is allowed so no one knows where this came from. They didn't have any proper emergency kit so I couldn't pull the glass out my son's foot with out causing him pain and screaming in the lobby. The front desk tried to distance themselves as much as possible and asked if we wanted the ambulance contacted so we agreed but before they arrived someone from the from desk brought over tweezers at the last minute after I had repeatedly asked for some to avoid any more time to pass. The property manager just seemed clueless and tried to make it seem as if it was my 6year old sons fault for playing at the pool. They did a small inspection and couldn't find glass in the dark. Cameras weren't even working when I brought it to the managers attention so they can have their own proof of what happened even THOUGH my sons foot was leaking blood that wasn't enough evidence for them. Overall I can't say it was a good experience for my kids and they are the easiest to please. They only have 1 "restaurant " which is only ordering at the bar (the bartender was extremely off putting & rude ) & the food was packaged to go but there are plenty of other places to dine outside of the hotel. The hotel needs to really improve front desk staff (there was maybe 1 working person that was polite at check in) , management just seems unqualified. We did opt for late check out due to being up late with my son for whining throughout the night so that was the least they could do they said. I wouldn't recommend anyone I know to go unless management & staff was at least more polite. The complimentary breakfast is probably why they get booked as much because I mean who wouldn't love to save money for the family ? But it isn't at all what they make it out to be. Idk I just wish I would've saved my money because if it wasn't for the rude staff & how poorly they handle situations & the amount of mistakes the occurred during our stay maybe then it wouldn't have been as bad . I'm so glad I took photos of what I could because with the adrenaline running & trying to calm my baby I never knew how important it would be for proof which all happened in their faces & they were all around poor customer service , coming from someone who works in hospitality this was by far the worst experience

The musty sheets that were wadded up in the closet bag for the sofa bed.

The hotel itself feels a bit dated and could use some updates, but honestly, a room is a room--it serves its purpose. My main issue was the lack of communication and professionalism from the staff throughout my stay. For context, I am an IHG Platinum member. One of the benefits of Platinum status is eligibility for early check-in and room upgrades, both of which are subject to availability. I travel frequently and completely understand that these perks are never guaranteed. However, based on my experience and recommendations from hotel staff at other properties, I typically call the night before arrival to request that a note be added to my reservation regarding an early check-in request. The night before my arrival, I called the hotel and spoke with a front desk employee named Daisy. I politely asked if she could add a note to my reservation requesting early check-in. Her only response was, "Early check-in is subject to availability," which I already understood. What confused me was that she never asked for my name, confirmation number, or any information that would allow her to locate my reservation. When I pointed this out and asked how she could add a note without identifying my booking, she still refused to pull up my reservation. The call ended with no note added and a very poor impression of the hotel's customer service. The next morning, after landing around 7:00 AM, I called again hoping to speak with someone else. I was hoping to refresh before the rest of my day. This time I spoke with Elizabeth, who was much more helpful and was able to locate my reservation and add the note. I mentioned my experience from the previous evening, and her immediate response was, "Who said that?" I chose not to name anyone and simply explained what had happened. She told me she would do her best and said I should be able to get into a room around noon. Since I was already nearby, I slowly made my way to the hotel and arrived around 11:30 AM. Elizabeth was not there at the time, so I spoke with a male front desk employee and explained that I had been told a room would likely be available around noon. His immediate response was again, "Who said that?" It felt as though every staff member was more concerned with identifying who had provided information rather than helping the guest in front of them. The lack of communication between employees was becoming increasingly obvious. I then asked if I could at least begin the check-in process and park my car in the garage rather than continue occupying one of the check-in parking spaces. Only then did he ask for my reservation information. In my experience, most hotels are able to begin the check-in process even if the room is not quite ready. After parking and waiting a short while, Elizabeth returned around noon and was able to get me checked in. During check-in, I also requested a late checkout and was told that a 1:00 PM checkout had been approved. The communication issues continued the following day. My partner asked me to confirm our checkout time, so I stopped by the front desk. A male and female employee looked up my reservation and appeared confused, telling me there was no late checkout noted on the account. Once again, I had to explain that it had already been approved. And once again, I was asked who had approved it. Both employees then agreed to honor the 1:00 PM checkout. Even on the day of departure, the confusion persisted. While I was in the shower getting ready to leave, the room phone repeatedly rang. When I finally answered, a front desk employee asked whether I had a late checkout. I replied that I did. My entire stay felt like there was little to no communication between staff members. Every request seemed to require re-explaining the situation, and every interaction was met with questions about which employee had said what rather than a review of the reservation notes. As a loyal IHG member, this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've had. Unfortunately, because of the poor communication and inconsistent customer service, I don't know if I would choose to stay at this property again.

First off the location is great for the parks, it's a doable walk when your feet are still fresh but if you're too tired they have their cute little trolley that drops you off and picks you up from the parks once an hour. It's a very quiet hotel, i've never had any noise issues staying there. The rooms are always clean and the beds are super comfy. Another plus is the A/C's always work great and since they renovated they're in the ceiling so it cools a lot more evenly. They've got a pool and hot tub plus a small wading pool for the little tykes! They've really stepped up their continental breakfast as well. Lots of choices and great things to grab for snacks later inside the park. The staff is always phenomenal and friendly. From front desk, to maids, to groundskeepers and security guards everyone smiles and greets you when walking by. We like a specific area of the hotel and they almost always honor that and are very personable. The price is pretty comparable to other ones in the surrounding area when you factor in parking fees for them. My family is usually willing to pay a little extra for that Candy Cane Inn charm. More affordable than any Disney branded hotel but still that great Disney level customer service.

We used this as our base for Aneheim - Disneyland, California Adventure and Knott's Berry Farm. Paid using our 12,000 points per night, and needed to pay for the $40/night for parking. While we tried the Toy Story parking and shuttle, the security line was really long at the time we went, and would've been way more convenient to just walk straight down to the parks. We also loved being near the very yummy Chubby Dumplings - just wished it was open later so I could've enjoyed it on my Disney days!
