Lots of wooden chairs and tables to have your breakfast/lunch - came here early before 7 and they still made me a cappuccino (online it says they open at 7) and I had the ham and cheese empanada. The cappuccino was on point and just what I needed on this cold morning before work The back calls you when your food is ready while you sit down. The nice gentleman prepared my empanada and gave it to me in one of those small white crinkly bags. The empanada was so delicious it was doughy hot and fresh. You order coffee and pastries in the front. For other food items you order in the back and pay everything up front. They also have a rack of Hal's potato chips. What a poor choice. VERY disappointed in my fellow Yelpers who gave such positive reviews. Everything is self serve, including napkins, plastic fork, knife, salt pepper . Extremely rude staff, and poor inventory. I asked for a green smoothie - was told it's out of stock. Looked around and instead ordered a chicken empanada. The cashier asked if I'd already ordered in the back. I said I had not. She ran my card, then called the back and found out they're out of chicken empanadas. She asked if I want ham and cheese or beef. I told her no thank you. She yelled at me "that's why I asked if you'd checked in the back." She refunded me in cash (a dollar short, but I was over the whole thing). Won't go back. read more

Breakfast choices are decent and the cook is always helpful. The problem i have is with the women at the register because she is so rude! She always charges the items wrong and when you correct her she gives a nasty attitude. She's too busy chatting and laughing with the construction workers so the line gets held up often. The cafe is on my way to the office so it's convenient but the slow cashier along with her attitude makes me regret ever walking in. read more
