A good place to enjoy a little bowling and all the fun of an old school bowling alley. We stopped by on a weekend afternoon, with a nice discount from Groupon. They have a lot of bowling balls, mostly older, so if you are truly there for high quality bowling, you may want to bring your own ball. For our purposes, the ones they had were just fine. While the lanes and technology show a little wear and tear, overall they meet the needs of most bowlers and have all the things that families need like gutter bumpers for kids and assistive devices for those who need a little extra help bowling. They also have a separate hangout lounge, a snack bar, a video game room, and storage lockers. We didn't use any of those, but it was nice that they were fully functional and staffed while we were there. My husband bought a Groupon for us to go bowling at this place today. It was a fun way to spend an hour or so. We each won one game so it ended up being a nice outing. However, the bowling establishment can certainly use some tender loving care as well as some updating. We were on lane 14 and our bowling balls got stuck down there several times. The electronic scoreboard also messed up a few times, causing my husband to have to make manual adjustments. The ball selection also was not great. read more

They only have a couple of staff members there so it's tough on them but they do work hard to try to please all their customers. The owner really should consider having at least 1 extra staff member to assist. The cost is pretty decent-up to 6 people can play for 2 hours for $90 and you get a pitcher of soda and a pizza. The lanes have chips of wood taken out of them, are not waxed well like other fancy lanes, it's expensive, the ball doesn't always get returned, the pins don't always get cleared out of the gutters, your ball might come back dirty or chipped, the house balls are very chipped, the pins don't always stack up right, the pins don't set up after a strike is bowled.... My boyfriend and I love going bowling here, it's dated but it's calm and we've always had a good time. Last night we went to go bowling and have a couple drinks and the bartender was truly the rudest I've ever encountered. When we walked up to the bar she approached us with a rude look on her face and when we told her what we wanted she asked to see our ids, understandable, he gave his to her and she goes "hm freshly 21" and he goes no I'm 22.. and she rolled her eyes and gave us our drinks. I genuinely think it would pain her to smile based off of the few interactions we had with her. And every time she spoke I couldn't tell if she hated us or just hated her life. My boyfriend and I are both bartenders and have worked in the service industry for years, and I've never met anyone so rude to customers for absolutely no reason. As soon as we arrived I knew something was wrong. There were about 3 other cars there but we decided to give it a chance. When we got inside the employee at the desk was on his phone and he continued to be in his phone the entire time we were talking to him. He only looked up when we payed. The ball selection was horrible, all of the finger holes were way to small and if they were big enough the ball would be heavier than you would like for bowling. Every time our ball would come back up it would get stuck which I'm not even surprised about because the whole thing was taped up. I would recommend going to any other bowling alley than this one. With that said, there has to be a point at which a business owner has to see the writing on the wall and pull the plug. As the only patrons on a Sunday afternoon, we mistakenly thought we would get a lane in good working order. The ball return jammed on multiple occasions, balls stuck in the return, pins did not reset correctly and the house balls were ancient and badly chipped, like something out of a Flintstones cartoon. We paid for an hour and when our balls wouldn't return for the third time decided it was time to call it a day....after 30 minutes use of our purchased one hour. No offer to refund, just that "we'll make a note of it! I realize that maintaining old equipment is expensive and finding someone who still does it is not easy however, the prices are above both of the nearest bowling centers we frequent. This place is truly the epitome of a bowling alley. The outside is honestly a bit scary, but I will say... it wasn't bad when we went inside. Theres 24 lanes which is a bit small, but didn't have a problem with it being busy midday on a Saturday. Probably not a chance I would order something from the snack bar. Also a bit unfortunate that the lanes had issues quite a few times in two games. There are two big redeeming qualities. One is the price. This includes the shoe rental. The center itself is outdated but it truly served the purpose of the day. For 2 hours we were able to unwind, laugh and enjoy family time together. We hadn't actually bowled in over 2 years I believe. So we really made the most of our time together. The staff here is both generous and friendly. They have a food court abs well as a full bar. There's also a small game area near the bathrooms. They center has 23 lanes. The bowling balls were difficult to gauge. They were all extremely heavy. At least Ayden was able to get an 8lb kiddy ball. He had so much fun. We'll visit them again in the future. read more

Talk about a throwback experience. I haven't been bowling in over 10 years. This place reminds me so much of every Midwest bowling alley I've been too. The automated scoring system is a nice innovation. Let's be honest, there's not much you need from a bowling alley. This place provides most of it. Service and shoe rental was efficient and smooth. I brought my own ball, but there seemed to be lots of balls available. They have lanes with bumpers for the younger crowd. They also have a contraption that allows a person with limited abilities to roll their ball down the lane. You move the device to the foul line, set the ball on the top and it rolls down the incline onto the lane. Very cool. Some minor things that could use updating are a less than reliable ball return (on our lane anyway), and the air hand dryers on the side of the ball holding unit didn't work. The balls always came back eventually, and drying your hands is not critical. They have leagues from what I can see when passing the sign on a regular basis. Kids bowl free, but there's a sign up process that I didn't investigate. It can be done at the desk but do it ahead of time to save the aggravation. read more

The male bartender gave me and my friend 3 jell-o shots without having my friends ID and just having mine, I proceeded to go back up there about 30 minutes later and have his GIRLFRIEND bartender give us an attitude saying it would not be okay to give it to us without both of our ID's as if her boyfriend didn't just do that. Realistically I wish I would have just went up there to get me another 3 with just my ID and give them to my friend, she is a 22 year old women with the capability to have any drinks she would please. My friend went back up the the girlfriend bartender with her ID in photo form and she denied us again requesting that the manager come over to us and let us it would not be okay for us to get anymore drinks. Showed up at 630pm to get three lanes and found out they didn't have coffee or Red Bulls(no big deal). Told the lady at the counter we would be right back to get drinks and come back. As we were walking out they turned the open sign off and locked the door. We called on the way back at 645 and they said they decided to close early instead of 8pm. This place has a policy that you have to be a child to use their 8# ball! Seems like a bowlers size no matter their age dictates the ball size! Sometimes we have to wait for assistance every third frame, which is all on the owner(s)! Staff is friendly but the owner(s) have allowed alley to become the worse in four counties! She lives over there and we hadn't gone yet. Sooooo...... in we walk. First impression is good. Reminds me of the place my mom used to take me as kids. Few steps in..... you start to realize the AC doesn't work well and it's easily 80° inside with little to no air motion. Sooo you are like oh well there is a bar and food so it's fine we can just get some water... well THINK AGAIN.... We get to the counter pay for our lane 2 games and 2 shoes (2 shoe rentals because two of us had our own shoes) Well they assign us a lane and we go over (not super friendly at the register but it was fine) So we start looking for balls.... not only are their only options like 12lbs and higher they are all nasty. Dirty and old. I finally found one that wouldn't rip my fingers off and wasn't too chipped. We set up our bowling names and started. We are super thirsty now as it's 100° outside and 80° in here. We are sweating, like dripping. So time for water and beer and food right....? I get in line changing out my turn every 4th person so I can bowl in between waiting in line. Well after waiting 10 minutes in line, this lady at the bar tells me " they are closing the bar and food for a shift change." We are the only people in the ally with no food and no water, nothing..... so I ask of we can get water and she shook he head at me and said sorry. So I am annoyed. Dripping, hot, dehydrated.... they have vending machines but NOT ONE OF THEM works. So we literally had no other options beside to maybe drink from the bathroom sinks..... idk about you but I'm not doing that. So i go to the front counter and ask the lady why they are closing the bar and complain that we have no water. And she is baffled that someone told me they were closing the bar as that is not something they do. We asked for a refund on the second game as we were all obviously sweating and thirsty. IT WAS MY MOMS 55TH BIRTHDAY AND I COULDNT EVEN GET HER A CUP OF WATER. So the lady at the desk said to call Monday and I could get a refund but that she wasn't able to do it without her manager..... Can you guess how this went? So I call miss Denise and she immediately cuts me off and starts telling me "you paid for a prorated amount," and she can give us free game coupons..... The lady at the front desk told my group of 4 that we couldn't have two lanes even though they were empty. The prices are expensive compared to the quality of the services, there were maybe twenty balls out to use- all of them had cracks and finger grips missing. At the end of our bowling experience the front desk asked us to put our balls back which is not the usual expectations of a bowling alley. It's a shame to write this review for me. I'm sure back in the day when the facility was new, it was the place to be. Unfortunately, it's now your stereotypical outdated alley. My group (20 year old adults) came due to a rainstorm cancelling previous plans. We had about 20 people total. Most places of business would be excited for the money that brings them. This was not the case. The older man working the counter seemed annoyed by our presence. He didn't as much as grin at anyone, and was cold. It was very off putting & noticeable . He proceeded to come up to us two separate times and put his hand on the shoulder of one of our guys getting on to him for a pin getting stuck (not his fault at all). He bowled into the gutter to get the pins to reset and that seemed to do the trick but he did not like that. Maybe he was just having a bad day but if you aren't going to put care into your building or care into your attitude then why would anyone bother to come? read more

This place was an absolute nightmare, I went with 3 of my buddies and we all have custom bowling shoes and balls and we were getting yelled at by one guy the whole night trying to bowl on the run down lanes! I would not recommend this place to anyone the pins went off sync half way through my game I hit a spare 4 times in one bracket so that's 1st bowl and then 5 more. There is also a weight limit for balls on how u look and my buddy that has a weak arm can't do heavy lifting and was told he has to use 12 lbs and above.
