While the lanes and technology show a little wear and tear, overall they meet the needs of most bowlers and have all the things that families need like gutter bumpers for kids and assistive devices for those who need a little extra help bowling. They also have a separate hangout lounge, a snack bar, a video game room, and storage lockers. We didn't use any of those, but it was nice that they were fully functional and staffed while we were there. Below is the formal complaint that was emailed and submitted, however, there has been no response: Good morning, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a private event held at Splitz Bowling - Gainesville, FL on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The reservation was under the name Josie Jackson, and we paid $435.38 for a private section with four lanes for two hours. Lanes 27 and 28 experienced continuous technical issues throughout the reservation period. While I understand that having more than six participants per lane can sometimes contribute to delays, lanes 27 and 28 did not exceed six players during the first hour and were the first to malfunction, confirming the issues were not related to lane capacity or guest usage. During the final hour of play, lanes 29 and 30 also began experiencing issues, further reducing usable play time across all four lanes. Additionally, our dedicated server was present for less than an hour and did not return, and multiple staff members were disengaged despite a busy venue. Management arrived 30-45 minutes later and offered minimal remediation (initially 15 minutes, then 30 minutes across all lanes), which did not resolve the technical issues. No meaningful follow-up occurred despite assurances. On-site security staff were inattentive. Given the cost and repeated service failures, I respectfully request: A corporate review of this incident Appropriate compensation or refund Corrective actions to prevent similar issues for future guests I would appreciate a written response. We were mostly not impressed that the lane kept having technical malfunctions then when we went to renew for another our lane stopped working completely and they had us wait 10-15 minutes just to wait for another lane to open up in the boutique area. We did cosmic bowling that had a set cost $20 per person and that included shoes and unlimited bowling until they closed. Please note that the bar and concession/food stand closes prior so it's best to order your food in the beginning. The food is reasonably priced and economical. They offer burgers, hot dogs, french fries and pizza just to list some options. They also have a small bar area and they have beers and a few other drink option.

They must have over 20 lanes. We had one with a bumper for the kids and a regular lane for adults. It's located in a plaza that is shared with a skating rink and had ample parking out front when we arrived. Several options here - you can pay per player per game($5-10) or by time (an hour or 90 minutes). We paid $39 for 90 minutes for each lane with a maximum of 7 players per game. Shoe rentals were $5 or so, and socks available for purchase. The setup was easy with many fun themes(including the option to take selfies) for your the game board. Balls came back quickly. There is a small arcade, birthday room for parties, and a cafe and full bar(opens at 5 but they serve drinks you can order from the cafe before then. Staff were all friendly. Our lane malfunctioned a couple times and they added back time when our original time ended so we could finish the game. They also have TVs and let us put on the football games we wanted to watch by our lanes. Nothing fancy here but good, clean fun. Great family, date, friend, or solo outing!
