    Gyoza

Stopped by here for lunch on a friday afternoon and it was so busy. The workers are hustling and the food is coming out quickly, but it is pretty hot inside. We ended up bringing our food home because it was too stuffy to eat there. The gyoza were perfectly crispy. The bowls were loaded with chicken and beef. The chicken is most and the beef was tender. The employees are all nice and attentive.

BLAND BLAND BLAND ! Where is the flavor? This place really messed up. One of my biggest things that gets me Sooo mad is when they 1. NO FREE REFILLS 2.STINGY ON THE CONDOMENTS AND CHARHE FOR EXTRA..... The first thing u noticed was you only get a tiny terrayaki sauce cup. I ORDERED A LARGE PLATE, expecting to have a good amount of sauce, I WAS WRONG ! HARDLY ANY SAUCE ! All I got was a little terrayaki cup..I was soooooo mad, THEY CHARGE EXTRA FOR MORE TERRAYAKI! TO me, that shows they are soo money hungry they cannot afford to give a few extra cups of terrayaki! Are you so desperate for a few cents you cannot provide an essential ingredient? Pathetic! Tou need to restructure your business model and find other ways to make money. Don't take it out on your customers ! Stop being so cheap. The cashier was also RUDE AS HELL! The positive is that the food was fresh, I did enjoy the quality but rhere was no sauce ! People, gonto waba grill, they are generous with their sauces and HAVE A DRIVE THRU !

Great teriyaki spot! Never disappoints. I usually order their beef combo plate which comes with a salad, 2 California rolls, 2 shrimp tempura and a miso soup. This is big enough to share with 2 people in my opinion. I usually order this knowing I'll have the rest for dinner. The beef is perfectly seasoned and is not fatty at all. Rice is fluffy and never dry. Although, the miso soup is almost always salty so I only drink like 1/4 of the miso soup. I've never stepped foot into their location since I always order via Uber Eats or door dash. However I will say, they never mess up my order and consistently follows my instructions provided in the app.

Wow! What an amazing teriyaki experience. This place is delicious. The flavor and quality of the chicken and beef are delectable. You know teriyaki is good, when the chicken has perfect char without being dry, and the beef is tender with a lustrous caramelized finish. They were both sweet, full of flavor, and topped with sesame seeds and green onion. I will efinitely will be returning to try a new dish. Also, Hands down to their customer service. The cashier was very respectful to every person she can in contact with.

First-time visitors to the restaurant. My wife and I were actually driving to ANB in La Puente when we suddenly noticed this location while passing through Whittier. We chose this location for lunch, and we have no regrets. The location is much smaller than the La Puente location; however, the food is just as good. The chicken was grilled to perfection, moist and flavorful. The beef was well done and was delicious. I had the teriyaki chicken salad minus the teriyaki, as I don't like any sauce on my food. My salad was crisp and fresh, the orange slices that accompanied my chicken plate were so juicy, and the cucumber slices were crunchy and fresh. Service was EXCELLENT as the young, female employee who took our order was very friendly and polite. The vibe here is relaxed, eat and go. This is a GREAT restaurant to visit if you are in Whittier and want a fresh, healthy, and delicious meal.

Delicious teriyaki and consistency great food!! This Japanese teriyaki spot is a sold go to when you're craving flavorful, satisfying food. The teriyaki is excellent, tender, perfectly cooked, and coated in a rich savory-sweet sauce that's not overpowering. The portions are generous and everything tastes fresh and well prepared. The menu has a great variety, whether you're in the mood for chicken, beef, or combo plates, and the sides pair perfectly with the main dishes. Service is friendly and efficient making it an easy choice for a quick lunch or casual dinner. Simple, delicious, and done right. If you're a fan of delicious teriyaki, this spot is definitely worth trying!!

If you felt like teriyaki places have been lacking lately, look no further, this place is delicious. WHY IS THIS PLACE SO GOOD YOU ASK? They dont load more than half of your bowl with rice, they give you the protein youre paying for, not only that, their protein is juicy and delicious. Honestly, teriyaki chicken or beef may not be the most appealing and may seem simple but the way they do it, its just so good. I know teriyaki is probably a convenience food, wherever is the closest is where you would eat it but I honestly can say we drive past at least 3 or 4 teriyaki places to eat at this place because my hard earned money needs to go far. Highly, highly recommend trying this place!

Such a cute and fun find! we heard a lot about it from our friends and really enjoyed our experience. Definitely a little hidden gem in the corner of Parking lot! we got a teriyaki chicken plate and was impressed with a portion size and the price! The chicken was super tender and perfectly seasoned, and the rice was nice and fluffy. This place was pretty packed and there was pretty good flow in and out as a lot of people got their order to go. There is four tables to eat inside and the cashier super nice and helpful.

So place has gone viral on IG. 1st off it's a small little cozy spot. Only 4 tables inside. We ordered the combo Teriyaki plate which came with chicken, beef, rice and salad. Avocado was $2.75 extra. Food was delicious. Teriyaki sauce wasn't overbearing and it didn't need any extra. They serve a lot. I shared the plate with my mom. Chicken & beef are nice tender. Rice was good and the avocado was perfectly ripe. The egg rolls weren't overly oily and it had the perfect crisp and the veggies inside were perfect. They don't offer any fountain drinks. Great customer service. Definitely will be back. You get enough bang for your buck. Come try them out

Second time here and it is still delicious as when I first came here. Ordered the chicken bento to box and it was so much food I couldn't finish it all. Definitely worth the price of $18.99 because you get 2 meals worth. The customer service is outstanding and the food did not take long to be done. There are tables and chairs if you want to eat there or take out. There's a drink refrigerator you can cook if you want something alternative to drink. The place smells amazing inside. And its VERY clean. Give it a try!

Beautiful day here in Cali, the birds were happy, and my tummy was growling after all my clients visits in the AM. I found out about ANB on IG however they were promoting the one off of Valley Blvd. Anyways, as I was driving to the gym the other day the glow of red lettering on the dark caught the corner of eye. "ANB" glowed like those famous Golden Arches, my calling card. "Oh shit there's an ANB right here!" I shrieked! Well today was the day that my stomach and tastebuds were in for one of the best chicken teriyaki I've ever eaten. Everything on the menu look amazing, the smell inside the restaurant was aromatic, I wanted it all, so I ordered a bento box to destroy. Cali rolls, gyoza, shrimp tempura, a side salad, a side order of miso soup, and teriyaki chicken on white rice. All for $23 and change, definitely well worth it. First...I took down that miso soup! Oh gawd, scrumptious! I definitely burned my tongue but I didn't care because the miso was so good! Honestly, I'd come back just for an order of miso soup...that good. On to the bento box, I methodically started with 2 gyoza, I've had better, still good, but I've had better-mid! lol. Next, I took out all 4 Cali roll pieces, now these were good. The imitation crab meat had a nice fresh crabby taste to it, I fuck with it...it's yummy! The next victim, my shrimp tempura...my fav, I took them all out in one go. I loved the crunchy outside, fried right, enough to give that needed texture then sweet shrimp. It was good. Here's a secret about me, I eat the shrimp tempura tail! I always dip my shrimp tempura in a mixture of soy sauce, sriracha, and wasabi. I actually started incorporating wasabi to my mix for about a year now, I give credit to my ex for turning me on to that. Thank you for the new flavor profile. Yes, yes, and more yes! These crunchy little shrimp could be the death of me they're so good! Finally, the teriyaki chicken and rice. Let's just say, you know it's out of this world chicken when it has char on it. Mi gente, this fucking chicken has char on it. Pair that char with the crack like teriyaki sauce...bing bomb boom! Oh lawd! I was left a little speechless, I actually closed my eyes for a few seconds and enjoyed the flavors. Yes, mi gente, this place is the real deal! May the universe bless these cooks who provide us with beautifully cooked chicken and teriyaki sauce. The staff was great, they said hi and bye to everyone. If by any chance you speak Spanish tell them "muchas gracias." The cooks are just on the other side of the counter. Let them know they're the bees knees. Overall, great lunch...good shit ANB Whittier! I will be back many more times.

Both of our drinks tasted great and were refreshing. The Iced Green Tea also had free refills, which was nice. Next we ordered some appetizers; the Spicy Garlic Edamame (our usual) and the King Crab Bites (to try something new). The Spicy Garlic Edamame was tasty as usual and had a nice kick. My husband wasn't a fan of the King Crab Bites because he thought they could've used more flavor and the texture was off. Lastly, we ordered our entrees; I tried something new and ordered the Pork Curry Katsu while my husband had the Pork Cutlet Ramen (mild spice level). The Pork Curry Katsu was delicious, complex, and full of flavor. The pork katsu was crispy and cooked to perfection, which complemented the curry and rice. My husband enjoyed his Pork Cutlet Ramen as well. His only issue was that it could've used a bit more salt. It is pricey here, but they do give generous entree portions. We were very full and had some leftovers to take home for later. We had a few different servers, and they were all polite and helpful. Our food was brought out quickly, which was also great. The only issue is that the service was a bit spotty and we weren't checked on very often to see if we needed anything (for example, I didn't get any refills). It wasn't too busy either, so I'm not sure why this was the case. The interior was clean and had a casual, slightly lively atmosphere. They have blend of modern and traditional Japanese decor, which gives off a comfy/modern dining experience. There's a decent amount of seating, and you have the option of sitting at the bar or a table. Both options put you in close proximity to other diners, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. They also had different mix of music genres playing in the background. Overall we had a decent experience and plan on stopping by again soon!
