If you're considering getting your next bowl from this location specifically, please go to the next nearest Cava. There are some things I'd like to mention that have already been said in other reviews, if you just scroll down. The portion sizes are ridiculous compared to other Cava locations I've been to. It's almost like a joke to even serve the sorry a** bowls that they do. Make no mistake--this is not the workers' fault. I feel like a lot of the heat gets placed on the workers, but they're only doing what is required of them. It's the managers, the boss, and the team that comes by to train the workers to serve a specific amount of each ingredient. This is a slap in the face. You're playing with people who work hard for their money, giving them ridiculous portions at full price, all to pocket more money. I know there's someone from the business side of Cava on here who responds to these reviews telling us to submit further critiques on their website, but what good is that doing if you still haven't listened to the concerns of your customers and changed the portion sizes? It angers me because I see what this business is doing, and they're doing it right in front of our faces while the workers take the heat, all for extra profit. I'm not f***ing with it. I'm passionate about this review because this feels like straight-up robbery of people's money, and this location does not care. After a morning hike with my best friend, we decided to stop by CAVA in Whittier, and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with exceptional customer service from Angie. She was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel valued as customers. It's not every day that you come across someone who is not only friendly but also takes the time to make your experience feel personal and enjoyable. As for the food it was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. After working up an appetite on the trail, this meal hit the spot. The ingredients were vibrant, the portions were generous, and every bite was packed with flavor. Ambiance inside was a 10/10 but it was a nice day so we decided to eat outside. Between the outstanding food and Angie's wonderful customer service, this visit exceeded our expectations. Employees like Angie are the reason customers come back. I went with the steak + harissa bowl and added pickled onions last minute (highly recommend). There's a fridge stocked with bottled drinks along with the usual fountain sodas and juices. We visited during the Saturday lunch rush, but the line moved quickly and the service was friendly. The food is good, but a major concern I have is the difference of portion size between in person and online. In person, the portion of food in the bowl is normally stacked to the brim with sauce touching the lid. Online, way different story. Portion size is significantly smaller and same priced. It's normal to expect your order to have the same exact portion online and in person. That is extremely ridiculous. This has happened twice to me and don't ever order Cava online. This Cava location is in a busy plaza with a shared storefront parking spots, along with a bigger parking area by Stater Brothers. There are lots of cars hazarding to do pick ups so just beware. As for the food, I ordered their make your own bowl with half saffron basmati rice and half supergreens. My protein was chicken and roasted vegetables, with tzatziki and hummus dips. For toppings, you can go crazy, but I usually get roasted corn, pita crisps, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled onions, and lemon herb tahini for dressing. The bowl itself is very filling and healthy. This place is very close to work , so it's very convenient to order on the app. They do a honest work when it comes to making their orders on time I truly appreciate that. I was so annoyed that I had to go back after having driven home already. The only reason I went back was because my salad looked like iceberg lettuce.
