After a morning hike with my best friend, we decided to stop by CAVA in Whittier, and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with exceptional customer service from Angie. She was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel valued as customers. It's not every day that you come across someone who is not only friendly but also takes the time to make your experience feel personal and enjoyable. As for the food it was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. After working up an appetite on the trail, this meal hit the spot. The ingredients were vibrant, the portions were generous, and every bite was packed with flavor. Ambiance inside was a 10/10 but it was a nice day so we decided to eat outside. In person, the portion of food in the bowl is normally stacked to the brim with sauce touching the lid. Online, way different story. Portion size is significantly smaller and same priced. It's normal to expect your order to have the same exact portion online and in person. That is extremely ridiculous. This has happened twice to me and don't ever order Cava online. My fiancé and I have been fans of cava since we since we tried it out last year and have been content with our bowls that we get. Today we decided to order ahead on line for pick up since we both had to go to work, horrible idea not to mention super disappointing from all the times we had gone in person and seen them prepare our bowls I was excited to enjoy my lunch when I got my work break, i just jumped on lunch was ready and the first thing that popped into my head was "what the fak is this?"the bowl was super small with the sauces hiding everything the amount of salad was less then a snack, I didn't even see any of my meat thinking it was on the bottom I threw on my sauces and notice the first two bites where missing the stake. So I stated looking to see what was going on only to find 7 small pieces of meat. Never been disappointed in Cava till we ordered online. My fiancé also told me her bowl was small. Worst mistake ever. For two bowls came out close to $37 defiantly not that shit again. I usually love to eat at Cava, their food taste is amazing but today I had a not so pleasant experience. I go to different locations usually but today I went to this location since it's closest to my house(mind you, my daughter had already warned me about their awful customer service). We wanted falafels being that we are vegetarian, there where only a few left and I told the guy helping us that we would need more, when he called out for more from the back, a young lady signaled him that they where done making them for the day. I would understand if it was half an hr before closing but it was over an hour before closing. After having our food I approached the counter and asked for a bag and lids for our left over food, the same guy that has helped us out was washing his hands at the sink, he clearly saw and heard me. Instead of saying, "I'll be right with you" or anything to acknowledge me, he just went on and had me standing until he was done. There was another nice kid(who I'm sure was on his break) smiled at me and handed me a bag while I waited for the other guy. This place is very close to work , so it's very convenient to order on the app. They do a honest work when it comes to making their orders on time I truly appreciate that.
